Well,Let me tell you something. Just came into town from Chicago where I am a medical user and I frequent Zenleaf stores. Wonderful people there and I always have great interactions. I come to town a few times a year cause of family and try several different shops when in town. Here in San Francisco as it is much the same at many dispensaries in Chicago get in get out kind of feeling lining up even with my med card, dudes looking at me all strange and super nice tellers usually, but not like this! Here with Mike today felt like walking into your buddies house and has his shop all set up. He's got the goods all set out with care and concern. It's Just like a little bodega. Here I'm asking him about what to get and what you have that's new and different from my place back home. We got lost in the collector cards which we have never seen before! Had this Great experience with him and my Bro who frequents the shop. Like a couple of afficinados discussing different strands and products all giddy like. Thanks again Brother for such a laid back and most excellent time hanging out with you today. Got the the /new for me/ Wyld Pomegranates 10 mg THC 10 mg CBD! Good tide Pineapple 10 mg THC and the CIZI White Widow Hybrid pre roll. Props to the shop from a Chicago kid who will be coming back when I'm in town. read more

Friendly staff and customer service was great . Very knowledgeable of the products. Was given a great recommendations. Will go again

I checked out this dispensary when I first moved in and really loved it. I thought the layout was very different than any other dispo I had been to before. They have the products out for you to grab and read and you can just sorta shop through what's out rather than most dispensaries that give you a budtender. This was the first dispo where I didn't feel stressed out. The owner and staff are super knowledgeable, helpful, and nice. I've been sober for awhile so haven't been since but it was a great experience and would reccomend this place a ton! read more

PS thanks so much for the free gift to go with my purchase !!! read more

I came in about a week ago to pick up some prerolls. Most important for me is that it's the only 100% Black owned dispensary in San Francisco, and the owner is from.the neighborhood. YOU need to support it. Im in Oakland and i crossed the bridge in the pouring rain - i dont mind the rain, honestly, but it made my drive just a little longer. Black and brown people have really been kept out of this business, so it was worth the drive to support. The set up is modern - clean aesthetic. I walked in, looked to the right at the displays of some of their product, some of which featured STIIZY and some other high percentage brands of pre-rolls. Customer service was good as well. I came in looking for Malibus, an LA based brand of prerolls and they suggested STIIZY. I gave em a try and it wasnt bad at all. Pretty comparable to Malibu, but I'm coming for flower next time just off the principle that I'm making this my main dispensary and I need my supply to last lol Their official grand opening is Saturday, February 3, ribbon cutting at 4! read more

Obsidian - Goodies - Cannabis Dispensaries Near Me - San Francisco, California

Namaste, Mary June. A spiritual girl's guide to healing outside the healthcare system. One time at the dispensary, I casually said: "I don't like picking up calls. They're always from debt collectors." The budtender laughed immediately. Then I added, "I once went to the gynecologist. She literally just looked at my vagina. Two weeks later, I got a bill--for five hundred bucks." "No tools, no prescription, nothing is wrong. Just one look--$500. Do you know how much weed that buys?" He was dying, nodding, totally vibing with the absurdity. My husband, though? He heard the story and went, "We should dispute that bill." And I just stared at him like, "Did you completely miss the point?" Some people are built to fix the world. Me? I'm here to laugh through the chaos and turn it into my favorite dispensary over due Yelp review. Then I took a hit. And suddenly, everything made sense-- American healthcare isn't here to heal you. It's here to drain your energy, bill you for breathing, and charge extra for the trauma. It's not a system. It's a scam Insurance is the sacrificial offering. Nurses are the elven assistants. And doctors? Cloaked in white robes, chanting incantations like: "Out-of-pocket... out-of-network... prior authorization..." So I stopped fearing it. I picked up my crystals, lit some sage, walked into the dispensary, and bought a little healing. I told the budtender, "You know, you're better than any doctor I've ever had." That's why I like talking to the budtender. It is soul to soul level. This is my new health insurance: One hit of weed, a touch of self-care, and someone who gets the joke. "Namaste, Mary June" read more

Obsidian isn't just a dispensary;it's an experience. Every time I walk in, I'm welcomed like family. The staff is incredible, always taking the time to ask what I'm looking for and making spot-on recommendations. The quality here is unmatched. No matter what I pick up; flower, edibles, or vapes--it's always top-tier. I've discovered some of my favorite strains thanks to the budtenders, and I trust their advice completely. Obsidian has become my spot, and I wouldn't go anywhere else. If you're looking for a place with great vibes, amazing people, and unbeatable quality, this is it. read more

Great prices, great people! Super quick service and very willing to provide advice on the selection. Will be coming back!

This place is legit the best!! I did an online order it was quick and easy. They had my order ready in less than 10 minutes, they called me when it was ready. There are a few parking spots right in front blocked off, easy parking. Mike and AC were so nice and friendly, and they hooked it up! I'm definitely using this place from now on. read more

Buyer beware. I was sold a tampered with box that was missing a vape. I have never had this happen at any legal dispensary. Unfortunately, when I realized it, I was no longer in SF. I have messaged the store with no response, and their website says they " get excessive messages and to give them time" (eye roll)which just sounds like a way to not get back to people. read more

AMAZING FRIENDLY CUSTOMER SERVICE from these fine gentleman! I wasn't treated with nothing but hospitality and welcoming! A+!

Top notch customer service and product! The owner, Alex, is incredibly friendly and takes the time to answer any questions you might have regarding the products they offer. He is extremely knowledgeable and really make you feel welcome. Where many dispensaries are 'transactional' in nature, here you get personalized customer service. The best! And the best part? The owner grew up in this neighborhood - this is not a corporate entity with multiple outposts, its a single door with the owner present and engaging his customers. And there is a terrific selection of products, with all the brands you would hope to find on the shelf. I encourage you to support the locally-owned business and see for yourself how fantastic Obsidian is! read more

Best dispensary in SF! High quality products reasonably priced. Locally owned. Run by knowledgable professionals. Highly recommend!!

Super cool dispensary with amazing vibes, customer service, and fresh product! The owner opened up shop in his own neighborhood, what an underdog story he has to share to the world. Honestly, if you want to feel welcomed and not overcharged, shop here. This is now my new go to, big thanks to Alex and the great staff at Obsidian!! read more

Excited for a new dispensary option in town! The owners Alex and AC are the kind of people you want operating a business in your neighborhood. I am so excited about this new neighborhood dispensary. The owners and staff are awesome, prices and quality are exceptional and the selection is great (even for just a soft opening). They also hooked it up with some awesome freebies with my purchase! I can't wait to come back at their grand opening (although I'm sure I'll need to stop by sooner than that). Thanks for everything and wishing you guys the best of luck - I know you've got at least 1 regular! (and I'm sure many more to come) read more

Fantastic service and management is great. Highly recommend. No other place in the city even compares.

If you're looking to show some love to a fantastic black-owned and operated dispensary that is deeply connected to the neighborhood, definitely give Obsidian a try! The owner is incredibly kind and knowledgeable about his products. If you're already planning on purchasing some weed, why not do so from a small business run by one of our devoted neighbors and only black dispensary owner in the area read more

I had a great experience. Everyone was very kind and professional. If I could give this place a 10 Star rating I would!

I live in the Fillmore so I decided to try Obsidian Dispo because they are have a good spot on Divisadero. The store is ran by two long time city locals who could not be more professional. Honestly this is a go to spot if you are in the city. read more

The owner of this dispensary is the kind of person you want to give your business to. An all around good guy. Here's something I observed him do first hand. It was raining hard and he was walking down the sidewalk next to the dispensary. Next to him was an elderly person getting soaked. The dispensary owner handed the elderly gentleman his umbrella and told him to keep it so he'd be dry on his walk. That's the kind of person that owns this place. He's also from the neighborhood so this is a truly local business. Go support this place! read more

Love this dispensary! Amazing customer service every time! I also love that the owners are locals and really care about their customers.

Best dispensary in San Francisco hands down! Great customer service, the best I've experienced so far.

Most times I go, I stumble on some awesome deal way better than any other dispensary I've ever been to. Plus there's a 5 min parking spot outside right on Divis - super convenient HIGHLY recommend read more

The first thing that stood out was the look of the store. Sleek, clean and organized. The people working here are friendly and have great customer service. They have top shelf products/brands which I can't find at nearby dispensaries. They hooked me up with a gift bag because I was a first time customer! My new favorite dispensary.
