Always try to pop over here when I'm in the neighborhood because the staff is always very…read moreknowledgeable and the service is top notch. I was able to purchase edibles and flowers, though they seemed to have more options in the latter categorie. One thing I learned from my most recent visit is you get what you pay for, so when it comes to flowers, know that when you decide to purchase cheaper pre-rolls, the quality isn't as good as the more competitively priced cannabis. Overall, the service has always been great, and I'm happy to revisit whenever I'm in the area.

California Street isn't some casual distraction to kill an afternoon. It is, of course, a…read moredestination. This cramped little "Ode to Joy" is the kind of dispensary that provides a necessary remedy for those of us who desperately need to soften our increasingly jagged edges. Whenever the world gets a little too loud and I start feeling distinctly edgy, this is the exact coordinates to come and hunt down your particular flavor of the month. I walked inside this evening, looked across the counter, and asked about the latest ganja. The young girl working the register stared back at me with the blank, hollow gaze usually reserved for someone trying to decipher a dead dialect. Apparently, I was speaking a foreign language. So I pivoted. I asked her, what exactly do the kids call it nowadays? Weed, pot, grass, reefer, Mary Jane, herb, dope, 420. Doobie, Scooby snacks--hell, I even threw in "paraphernalia." Then you've got the boutique menu descriptors: Zaza, fire, dank, chronic, shake. Joints, blunts, edibles, concentrates. I could go on until I'm blue in the face, but you already know the rest of the exhausting, hyper-marketed lexicon. So many pristine little categories for what used to be a commodity bought in a ziplock bag behind a diner. But whatever ridiculous corporate or street taxonomy you choose to use, the staff here will patiently guide you through the noise to find it. Personally? I'm intensely specific about my medication. Just hand over the high-grade gummies that won't plunge me into a tailspin of existential paranoia. I don't need a spiritual awakening. I just want to feel a little untied. Period.

By far one of the best delivery companies in the entire Bay Area. They are truly the "best kept…read moresecret" in town. The owner even has his own line of high quality prerolls (Loud Pack) to suit all your needs for daytime, nighttime or anytime. This company stands behind all of their products and the menu offers selections that are comparable to any walkin dispensary. My orders are always on time and delivery is typically within 45m - 1hr. The drivers are tip top when it comes to customer service, and also discreet if you need privacy from nosy neighbors. I choose GreenLine again and again because their service is superb and keeps me coming back for more every time. Nothing like having products delivered straight to your door. I would recommend you try them for yourself.

Since I was 5min away, I requested contact less delivery (mail slot that goes directly inside my house), so I wouldn't make him wait. He denies and starts getting a horrible attitude and says it's "illegal to leave drugs outside". I didn't want him to leave them outside, but before I could even explain that, he starts getting aggressive and rude, so I requested to just cancel. He says I'm "wasting his time at midnight", mind you it was 10:30pm. He proceeds to curse at me, including calling me a "bitch". Not sure why this even had to escalate there. This all happened within a 60 second phone call, so this owner clearly has no self control and cannot regulate their emotions.

A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF CAPITALISM EATING ITSELF…read more Watching Urbana's decline has been a spectacular example of what happens when profit becomes more important than people, community, quality, or basic human decency. First, the shelves started emptying. The quality brands and products that customers actually came for disappeared, replaced by increasingly disappointing, cheap alternatives. Then came the changes in staffing, the deterioration of customer service, and the complete abandonment of what once made this dispensary worth supporting. And now Urbana has the audacity to send out a promotional email acknowledging how badly they've failed their customers, while thanking everyone who continued handing over their money throughout the decline. How touching. How profoundly capitalist. Extract as much money as possible, minimize costs wherever possible, hollow out the business, alienate the people who supported it, and then slap a 30% discount on the wreckage and call it a comeback. The most insulting part is the corporate language about "partner networks" and "better deals." It's fascinating how businesses can find endless creative ways to discuss profitability while saying absolutely nothing meaningful about the workers and customers who made their existence possible. I also watched the staff change dramatically. I cannot speak to the company's internal payroll decisions, but the apparent turnover, declining quality, and deteriorating customer experience raise serious questions about whose interests this business is actually serving. I was ultimately told not to return, which, considering the direction this place has taken, feels less like a punishment and more like a fitting conclusion. Workers create the value. Customers sustain the business. Ownership extracts the profits. And when the whole thing starts collapsing under the weight of its own greed, suddenly we're all supposed to celebrate a SALE. This is the rot at the heart of corporate capitalism: the belief that a business can endlessly extract value from a community while offering that community less and less in return. Cannabis was once associated with counterculture, resistance to criminalization, mutual aid, and challenging oppressive systems. Watching that culture get repackaged into another soulless corporate profit machine is particularly grotesque. You cannot manufacture community through marketing. You cannot replace integrity with discounts. And you cannot gut the soul of a business and expect people not to notice. Solidarity with the workers. Contempt for exploitative business practices. And absolutely no loyalty owed to a company that has forgotten who built it. Keep your 30% off. I'd rather spend my money somewhere that still gives a damn. fuck off forever.
