I was looking for infused joints and my guy Angelo sold me some joints in a cigarette like pack. 47 % plus THC and they were total duds! $54 for 4 joints and they were crap! I first came in 2021 when they just opened and had a horrible experience. There was literally no order when walking in, no one wearing something to show they work there and the man "working" was flirting with some guy for 20 mins before acknowledging that I was waiting to be checked in to buy products. The entire time he spoke to me he forcibly moved me around with his hands on my shoulder and then as I went to ask him to please take his hand off me because I kept trying to step over he misgenders me extremely loud. When I told him he needed to be more aware of not assuming peoples genders considering I look nothing like a "lady" and it's 2021 in the Castro. I reluctantly went back a few weeks ago because this is the only dispensary in the Castro and experienced having a snarky and rude budtender who just seemed annoyed that he was checking me in. I asked where the menu was since he didn't seem interested in answering my questions and I find it easier to look at a menu than dealing with a budtender annoyed with me asking what they have. He pointed to the menu in front of him as if I'm an idiot when the menu in front was not working at all. The menus never seem to work here but if you're going to hire people who are unwelcoming and easily annoyed with someone not knowing what they want right away then at least fix your menus so I can interact with your staff less. read more

After this evening, not at all! I wanted to purchase a single preroll and I was told I couldn't. They said because it was the last one it couldn't be reentered into the system... which is wrong. They then proceeded to tell me there was a $3.50 fee for using Debit Cards but they have to round to nearest 10 dollars and I would get the difference back but rather than $6.50, I was handed $3.10. Is that the difference between 10 and 3.50? Nope!!! Also, the service was slow and not knowledgeable at all! The fact is that charging a fee for using a Debit Card is illegal as it is just like cash. A credit card yes, but if I have to enter my PIN, it is automatically removed from my account. Numerous businesses have had class action suits over this issue. Think about it! read more

Lately I've been disappointed with Eureka Sky's service in general, and this interaction a few days ago really irritated me and seemed scammy or bait-and-switch. I went in to take advantage of a 10% off sale. At checkout, the guy said he was giving me 5% off for "points" I had accumulated, but the price still seemed wrong given that a $29 item was totaling out to $50. I said the website listed the product 10% off today, and he replied very dismissive/talk-to-the-hand, that yeah, with tax and ATM fee, the price was correct. I go home and can't shake the feeling I was overcharged, so I dig out the receipt and sure enough, I didn't get the 10% sale discount, just my earned 5%. Sadly, I think that guy is the manager. I'll be shifting my loyalty back to Apothecarium, despite its inventory management shortcomings. Eureka Sky just doesn't feel 100% above-board. read more

This store seems poorly managed and often not very clean. There never seems to be security in the morning and I did not feel safe shopping recently while there was so much commotion happening outside of the door of the store. Also, as many have already stated, there always seems to be an issue with the discounted items. Hardly ever do they automatically apply to the purchase, and am often left waiting for a budtender to scramble for management to help with the discounts. This has happened on numerous occasions that it has become laughable now. My wife and I will be shopping at Flore or the Apothecarium moving forward - these dispensaries are also located in the Castro and have much better security, customer service, discounts, and products in general! read more

This is a great dispensary! LGBT owned and operated. The staff and security team are very friendly! They were open during the pandemic and offered a safe purchase environment. This head shop or weed shop has a great selection of products. You can purchase online for pick up and delivery, or just go inside and purchase. They accept cash and credit cards. But they will charge you a fee for using credit cards. They do have this "cash" payment system with CanPay that allows dispensaries to take cash through a direct debit from your checking account. read more

I was disappointed with this dispensary today. It's so conveniently located but I don't think I'll be back. When I came in looking for my sleep gummies, the sales person was helpful and noted that there was a "buy two get one free" deal today. So I got three packs of gummies to take advantage of it. As he was ringing me up, the sales person said I could also get another variety of the gummies for just $1. I didn't really care about the extra pack but was willing to try them. But then the total was much higher than I thought it would be. I asked the sales person if I got the one free he mentioned, and he showed me there was a $24 discount on the receipt. It wasn't until I looked closely at the receipt (at home) that I saw the discount was taken off the $1 pack, and I'd paid full price for the three packs of gummies I bought. Unfortunately there is no formal menu listing the products and their prices. There are two IPads with their website and products listed, but they aren't at the main counter where you actually choose what you want to buy. I had to pull out my phone and refer to the products I was interested in. I was informed that almost everything I was interested in were on sale and I saw the price on the website but apparently it was not accurate. I also was told that the total price was $140 and I ended up being charged $150. The entire process was confusing and cumbersome. I chose the King Roll coated in hash oil and kief based off of the recommendations of the gentlemen working inside. NO Happy Birthday discount for you! The day after my birthday, I received a wonderful text from Eureka Sky wishing me a happy birthday and offering me a discount (which must be used on that day). How nice! Nowhere in the message did it say that my birthday discount can't be applied with other discounts. The store happened to have a promotion going on the same day and I specifically asked the guy assisting me about this. He said that it "should" be applied, but if not "come back on your next visit and tell the manager you didn't get your birthday discount." I asked if their system had taken off the discount. He either didn't hear me or chose to ignore me. After reviewing my receipt at home, my birthday discount was not applied. I called and left a message for the manager to call me back so we can discuss. Can they put a note on my account that I have an unused discount? I guess I'll never know, since he has yet to return my call. The only reason I went there that day was because of the happy birthday text and discount offer.
