Instead it was prepared differently then how I've had it twice before. It was more bland and the only sauce was whatever marinade the steak was prepared in. I paid $16. The menu I went but by online could have of course changed from the reflected amount of $13. Back to the lomo. I ordered Lomo from a restaurant called Costenera in Montclair and the lomo was so good it left a lasting impression on me. It was so good, I couldnt wait to eat it the next day. I've never been so excited about left overs. I've expected lomo to be that good since. Unfortunately, Rinconcito is not a place I will ever order lomo from again. I was very disappointed.

Not bad for $9! Their portions are big! But I'm not complaining because I always love taking leftovers home to enjoy for another meal. I had asked for water and the waitress brought me a bottled water. I thought she was going to charge me for it, but she didn't! (Not sure if she forgot, or of they give out bottled waters for free, but I'm not complaining). Food came out pretty fast, especially since we were on our lunch time crunch. Cons: Street parking is not always easy, not sure if they have a lot in the back. Also, my steak was a little too dry. Overall, a restaurant I would recommend and revisit in the future!

The only downside here: if you don't speak Spanish, you're screwed with both placing the order and picking up primarily due to it being a family owned establishment in a heavily populated Latin/Hispanic community. I've tried calling in a handful of times and have been put on hold for a while or hung up on after a few tries. It's pretty tough to have a conversation with them primarily due to the loud background noise and distant tone picked up by their touch less headsets the employees wear. It can get a bit frustrating if you're not able to speak moderate Spanish, but the alternative is just order Uber Eats or DoorDash, honestly lol it's still so worth it though!
