Been there many times. Food quality really went down but prices haven't. Very overpriced

Randomly stopped here because the kids wanted pasta and there was not much else in the area... it was excellent!! The service was friendly and helpful, the food was delicious (I got salad with caution but it was amazing!), and we happened to stop on open mic night which made it very entertaining. Came here for dinner after driving in from Phoenix. The restaurant itself is fun and the waitress was attentive and nice. The cocktails were delicious. My friend got The Just A burger. He liked it fine. I had the spaghetti and meatballs, which were okay. The cocktails were the mazzura spritz and a mimosa both were refreshing but packed a bite which I loved! We finished with tiramisu which was amazing!! At the end of the day I'm glad we stopped by. read more

The food is fire. The chicken parm. is among my favorites but I recently had the steak that came perfectly cooked exactly the way I ordered it. The service there is great. We didn't wait long at all for our food and the people are very friendly. I would definitely recommend trying this place. read more

We stopped here on our way to Palm Desert from Joshua Tree. We have driven by before but didn't stop. So we decided to stop and see how long the wait was. There was no wait and there was a gal singing with a gentleman playing guitar. She had a Diana Krall kind of vibe. Very nice. Was surprised at the limited menu options. I was feeling slightly under the weather so I opted for the butternut squash soup. It was very good. A few pumpkin seeds on top would have put it just over the top for presentation. I requested the salad with the soup but it came with my husbands pasta. It presented beautifully and was tasty, though a skosh more goat cheese and pomegranate seeds would have been lovely. The bread was good but not remarkable. I recommended hubs try the Al Forno rigatoni but he chose the spaghetti with the bacon in the sauce. The spaghetti was different and not bad but dry and he would not choose it again. I would give 3.5 stars if it were an option based on this visit. Service was good and we look forward to trying Spaghetti Western again when they expand their menu. read more

been here a few times food is always pretty good. But it takes foreverrrrrr to come out. Usually about an hour. The service is kind of slow, but everyone is pretty nice. It's annoying how I observed every single table, including hours it takes at least 15 minutes before you get a beverage besides water. We dined in but also got a meal to go. Ordered the flat iron frites to-go and asked to sub the fries for mashed potatoes to which the server said "hopefully chef doesn't throw a fit about it". Once it came i noticed it came with the fries instead of the mashed potatoes. our tab was $150 and you couldn't just give us the mashed potatoes? come on ... read more

Want to start off by saying that the locale was everything you would expect from a western saloon. Pool table, live music, stone fireplace, taxidermy mounts, etc. The space is large and inviting. As for the food and service, we found both to be lacking. The wait was nearly an hour so we decided to get some drinks while we waited. After standing at the bar for 10 minutes only to be ignored and then told we were going to be served, we waited some more without anyone taking our drink order so we chose to play pool instead. They only had one cue ball for two pool tables so we took turns with the people at the other table. Once we were finally seated, we waited a long time just to get water. They did not have oil or vinegar for the bread, how can you serve "Italian" food without that! The pastas were bland and pretty much something you could make at home without much effort. They just opened 2 weeks ago so they have time to improve, but we definitely regretted driving out here for dinner. read more

Great atmosphere, great service. No complaints about that, this place has a great idea with a cowboy themed Italian restaurant. But, dagnabbit the food was bland. The signature dish, Spaghetti Western had no kick. Just wasn't worth it at $16. Now, it just opened, so I'd give it another try, but it needs to change that dish. Add meat, add spice. Add something. The parmesan was just awful, it made it worse. Bread comes out cold, not a fan. Good garlic butter. The brownie skillet desert needs to cut down on the sea salt too. With a starting menu that small, I thought they perfected it's four main dishes. I guess not. Once again, I just hope this place improves. Adds some cowboy themed fun dishes or just gets Italian right. Went the second night it opened. So, here's hoping for improvement. read more

I had the brisket special. I was served a large slice of brisket and 2 sides. The sides were good but the brisket was extremely fatty. Much of it was fat and unfortunately it wasn't separated into fat and meat layers but the entire piece was fatty. I was able to eat less than half of it. Came here tonight for dinner with my family had a blast, food was great, had some customers doing songs on stage! over all great experience. We had the flat iron special and the salmon dish they were delicious! Cook to perfection. We had the chef's special dessert the fried banana cheesecake omg it was crazy delicious!!! Discontinued lasagna. Was their best meal. Will not be back till it is even after my family came 2 nights in a row. Staff didn't inform me they didn't have sprite and gave me starry. Very different drinks. Couldn't even put sugar on a lemon drop. Weird how everything "they just stopped doing" like lasagna and sugar rims when apparently they just don't have it. Stopped in on a Friday night. Got there just in time to catch the end of happy hour. I had the Alfredo Linguine and my husband had the spaghetti both from the happy hour menu. We also split an order of meatballs. Great food! I don't think I can eat Alfredo anywhere else now. There was no bread served with our meals, but I assume that was because they were happy hour specials, but we did not need it. Our cocktails were also delicious. Our server was great! While the place is designed to look old, it was very clean. I look forward to coming back sooner than later. read more

NO LINE to get in on Sunday night at 5:30 or 6:00 even tho Open Mic was about to start. Unheard of for JT area. Probably due to plenty of space in restaurant (huge). Free lot parking. Now the good stuff: LOTS of vegetarian options - all of them looked AMAZING. The brownie a la mode was OUT. OF. THIS. WORLD. It's essential a dense fudgy Flourless Chocolate Cake but made with GOOD dark European chocolate and with a bit of a bite (not the sticky sweet like most American versions). But be SURE to get it with the vanilla gelato - unreal. Plus its HUGE - enough to last you 2 days which it did for me. At home, I paired the other half with fresh raspberries and coffee and it was to die for. I would go back JUST for this, honestly. I had the Seasonal Summer Salad and my friend had the Heirloom Burrata salad - both completely on point! I had Mexican dark lager which was good and reminded me of Guinness. She had the Morongorita and loved it! The herbed butter was delicious too. Also SUPER affordable prices. I paid about $22 for my meal and drink - with tip. Desert was added later and I think it was 10 or 12 but worth every dime. All in all, both of us can't wait to go back. I sure hope it keeps that "locals" vibe going bc it sure reminds me (happily) of the good ole days. If you've lived in JT long enough, you probably know just what I mean. Wonderful food, atmosphere and service! The decoration makes one feel like they are on the set of a true Spaghetti Western! If this is a genre you enjoy this restaurant is a must. We were welcomed at the door and able to sit quickly even though the restaurant was quite busy. Our server, Ethan, was fantastic!! He was attentive and made sure we were well taken care of-above and beyond service as he anticipated every need. The atmosphere was lovely. Although the restaurant was busy we didn't feel crammed in or ignored. Lighting was soft but not so dark we couldn't see the menu or our food. The live music was an added bonus to the already wonderful experience. The singer had an otherworldly quality to her voice. Our food was delicious and portions were quite large! Chicken Parmesan and Flat iron steak were perfectly cooked and delicious. The Skillet cookie with ice cream was a wonderful way to finish our meal. Don't miss this must-see restaurant! We absolutely love this place and it has become one of our go-to dinner places for brining guest. My wife usually gets the lasagna or spaghetti and is spot on every time. I use to get the risotto when they first opened, now I have moved to the mushroom pasta, hot chicken sandwich or their burgers. We usually get one of their signature drinks or a half carafe of wine with it. We have always been happy with the staff, service and food quality. We live in YV and had been wanting to try this place for a while so ventured in on local's night with our granddaughter, who was visiting from England. The decor was a delightful surprise and we were greeted warmly by all the staff. The Morongaritas were good and strong and the food was delicious! Tonight was my first time. This place came up in some food article, probably Eater L.A., and they just opened in December of '22. I tried the namesake Spaghetti Western, which was indeed very good. Don't expect authenticity... this is totally American style Itlalian, bit they do it so well. There is always room for different variations. Wow! We had the Caesar salad which had incredible cornbread croutons, spaghetti western, and ribeye steak which was cooked to perfection and had crispy wonderful potatoes. Finished off with the brownie skillet. Everything was spectacular. The ambiance was fun, western themed, and even had a small jail cell. This darling place was purchased by an Italian couple, so it's SO much better than you'd think looking at it. I assumed it would be a themed type spot with the $20 version of chef boyarde. Friends told us about it and the amazing food, so we went to check it out! And WOW! The food is next level amazing (highly Recommend everyone try the little pizza puff pastries!!), there's live music, and my son enjoyed the silly decor. I love the name, love the decor, love the ambience, love the staff, love the live music, and love the fresh bread and butter. The black truffle ravioli was also delicious. The one thing I didn't love was the spaghetti. The noodles are too al dente (undercooked) and the marinara sauce was really mediocre for a spaghetti restaurant. They need to revamp their marinara recipe if they want go from being a cool local joint to a place where the food is to die for. read more
