I visited Snake Bite on a Saturday evening for dinner with a party of 16, so we made a reservation in advance. Since it was still fairly early in the evening, parking was easy & there weren't too many other customers when we arrived. The workers were so friendly & funny. I loved the fun decor & the billiards table. I ordered their chili & really enjoyed it--I also got to try dishes & drinks from my friends & thought everything was great. I appreciated their drink deals too, though my friend's Negroni slushy was more of a standard Negroni than an actual slushy. Would visit again!

This place is a hidden gem truly!! I had no idea walking in that my socks would be blown off! The ginger drinks were phenomenal. The service was incredible and everyone is friendly! The gravy, I would love to buy a tub of. It's the best gravy I've ever had and that's someone coming from the south! Anything you do add gravy on top and you will not be disappointed. I also have to give a special mention to the curly fries. It's the best of both worlds. They have the creaminess of a mashed potato on the inside and an amazing crunchy exterior! We have definitely become regulars here.!! I also love that they give you the option to dine on either side. There is the bar and biker side and also the family dining side but either way you can't go wrong! The ambience and vibes are amazing!

I really enjoyed this place! Great atmosphere, the vibe is fun. It feels like a mix between a country bar and a diner. The server and all the staff were super friendly, some things did take a little longer than expected but it was busy. The food was really good! Everything cane out super hot, had great flavor and the menu had unique options to pick from. We have learned that Joshua Tree doesn't have a ton of places to eat, so I was expecting the options we did have to not be great, but every place has been good.

Came here with a group of 12. For starters, this place was the only one I've been to that said they would have to split the checks in 3 groups and would refuse it do it otherwise. One of the people I was with had a lisp and the waitress laughed and at him. On top of that, the food was very overpriced. Had to leave and not look back.

No better way to end the day at Joshua Tree than to get a bite to eat here. Great historical spot where the pool table in front is the same pool table that The Rolling Stones and the Beatles played on. I got the Snakebite Burger and it was incredible. Hit the spot and the house fries were just as good!

Came here during a thunderstorm lol had to run in super wet but it was unexpected and fun! Service was nice & friendly. Our waitress had great recommendations. For the starters we had chicharrones with salsa & the corn with chips! Both were yummy and light starters. For entrees we all had western and snakebite burgers and a lemon butterbow tie pasta! It was definitely delicious. The burgers has good flavor the fries were BOMB and I would drink that homemade ranch! lol The pasta was really good and flavorful I add shrimp because I didn't realize it had grilled chicken in it but I def say the chicken is better than adding the shrimp. The pasta was light and very lemony. I would def try the Cajun pasta next time! And you can't go wrong with the burgers and fries. Overall a good experience with delicious food! Definitely will be back next time we are in town!

Wanted to check out a restaurant for Joshua Tree and this place came up. Lots of parking spots and got a table in 10mins. They have a bar where you can wait for your table. Everyone was helpful and polite. Promptly got our orders. We enjoyed the pork tacos and elotes (slightly spicy) however, the Snakebite Burger wasn't as tasty as I expected it to be. I'd probably try something else if we come back here. It does feel more like a bar environment than a restaurant which seems to be the case for a lot of places here. I don't mind it.

Went to Snakebite Roadhouse and loved the place. The decor is awesome and fits the desert vibe perfectly. It's the kind of spot where you notice details everywhere you look. The staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Service felt easy and genuine. The food was amazing and the cocktails were just as good. Everything we ordered came out on point and clearly made with care. This is a great addition to Yucca Valley and a place I'd happily go back to for both food and drinks. Highly recommend checking it out.

I came here back in October while on a birthday trip for my girlfriend and to this day, I still think about the food and our wonderful waitress, Tabitha. The ambiance inside the restaurant is unique and very fitting for a place around Joshua Tree. I'd drive back down from the North Bay just to come back here

Cool space and vibe, but the cocktails and the food were a miss for us, and service was slow. I'm a fan of green chartreuse and tried the Mojave Green which was a starred beverage, but it was super sour and not balanced at all. Had the Cajun pasta for dinner which was a huge portion, but way over salted, so I could not finish it. We liked that the menu wasn't just burgers/hotdogs, that was a draw for us, but it just didn't really align to our taste buds.

Absolutely recommend snakebite if your driving through town. I stopped by and are so pleased with my decision of dining here the vibes were perfect and restaurant was unique. The entrance was amazing you have to stop by and check it out. The dining area is towards the back and gives you a retro vibe of a 50's coffee shop. I kept it simple and had a burger.

Dinner was at the Snakebite Roadhouse, which is quite a scene up there. There is so much to look at and see. When we got in here for dinner time, there was also a live band playing. I ordered their famous lemon butter bow-tie pasta which was delicious and cooked and tasted just right. My friend ordered their hamburger which they loved and enjoyed. Service was slightly slow but it was still fun just listening to the music and hanging out!

Our cottage was clean, cute, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and fun weekend. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked and the bed was comfortable. This is not your typical boring house on a cul-de-sac. We felt like we were in our own little boulder world. The location of the ranch is perfect. There are stores down the street and the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park is about 10 minutes away. Kiyomi is an awesome and friendly host! She knows so much about Joshua Tree and all the local events, since she and her husband have been there for years and years. They are so interesting and cool. You'll love them. All while planning her own wedding, which was just two weeks before ours. Kiyomi was always quick to respond to our questions, incredibly warm, friendly, and helpful, and helped coordinate vendors and guests during our wedding weekend. As an added bonus, she and her husband Shane are amazing and fascinating people, and were a delightful addition to our wedding guest list. My friends and family enjoyed sitting around and swapping stories with them into the night just like they were old family friends. Furthermore, when it came time to check out, my new husband and I had less hands on deck than we anticipated, and were scrambling to clean but ended up checking out an hour late. The whole family was incredibly gracious and jumped in to help us pack and clean up. You can see for yourselves in the photos how expansive, intricate, and unique the venue is - you could walk the property 100 times and still notice new details you hadn't seen before. If you have the chance to visit or book as a venue you definitely should!

I hired Celeste with "venue 19" for my wedding on October 12th, 2024 and I was completely disappointed the entire time. The music was playing ads when I had already told Celeste multiple times I have Spotify premium that she can use. The sound was going In and out the entire time even though she assured me that her brother was a technical wiz and had a great sound system. (This was also in our contract to have working audio) The colors I chose and confirmed with her 5 times was also not present at the wedding whatsoever. I had actually reached out to her 4 or 5 times to let her know if she can't get the colors and theme I was going for them I would pay for the decorations and flowers myself. The start time was the biggest downfall of the wedding. I had confirmed with celeste more than a handful of times that my guests will arrive at 4pm cocktails and ceremony will start promptly at 5pm. Multiple emails, text messages, agendas, and wedding invitations had the times and she still asked the vendors to come 2 to hours later. (Spoke with each vendor and they confirmed Celeste lied to them about start times) My guests and myself were waiting for hours for everything to get started. Drinks were hot and left in the sun so those that came on time couldn't enjoy anything. She also had her two dogs running around the venue the entire time begging my guests for food, running on my dress, and jumping on chairs where people were eating. She also had my guests take their own chairs/benches themselves from the ceremony area to the dinning area. Which might I add was also a complete disaster since she had no lighting. My guests were eating in complete darkness the entire time. I had to pay my camera guy extra money so that he can bring out some lighting of his own. (Didn't last long since he was not prepared to supply the event lighting) this was also in my contract to have lighting provided by Celeste. A dance floor and tent was also in my contract. She did not have any tents whatsoever. The dance floor was not strong enough to hold any weight. The boards were not up to code and had holes so we were all stuck in our tables with no lights. Unfortunately I mistakenly trusted her to be the officiant of the wedding which she also ruined. Could have been such a special moment for me and my husband that she ruined. She was flustered, forgot her place twice and two several minutes to get back on track, as well as forgetting the exchanging of rings part. She started her speech by talking about herself for several minutes and telling the crowd to not be mad at her because none of the mishaps were her fault... I had reached out to Celeste so many times to offer my help and extra money if needed. I was over the top patient with her and the only thing I received in return was excuses by her playing the victim. She ended everything by sending me threatening emails as text messages that she would sue me if my friends and family did not stop leaving bad reviews (reviews she had taken down by yelp)

In my opinion, weddings are inherently one of the most capitalistic and borderline exploitative examples of soliciting real emotion for even more dollars. When everything comes at a premium because you attach marriage to it (cake cutting, flowers, catering, etc), you begin to have real fear for how the most expensive component of the whole thing, the venue - will play out financially and emotionally. Liz and Eric are people who are welcoming you into their home, not someone making a quick buck off providing you 4 walls to throw a party in. We instantly felt so incredibly comfortable with them, that we lingered around for a couple hours the next day and talked about the upcoming Game of Thrones series finale. Name a wedding venue where you're going to do that? Julia - the wedding planner is the perfect combination of straight-talking, to the point, hyper focused, but still inherently warm and lovely that you want for your planner. She doesn't waste your time, but she doesn't make you feel rushed or under stress whatsoever. This venue is not for the faint of heart, however. If being a little chilly, seeing a bug or critter or two can completely ruin your night, I'm not entirely sure why you chose a remote desert wedding in the first place (oh wait, probably for instagram). The desert is a rough, unforgiving, but ultimately rewarding place. If you write a 1 star review for seeing bugs in a remote desert locale, you have bigger issues than this venue. Our wedding went off without a single, solitary logistical hitch. The venue was by far the most beautiful venue I've ever attended a wedding at. The owners were the most laid-back friendly, couple I could've worked with. I never dreamed of having a wedding go so perfectly. I'd give you 6 stars if I could.

A big part of the reason we chose the venue, aside from its beauty, was that we could do whatever we wanted, which allowed for total creative control, as well as allowed us to be as spendy or frugal as we needed.
