I really wanted to love this place. The flavors were all good, the burrata salad was fresh. The cream sauce broke and was an oily mess all over my car on the way back, the meat sauce was cold somehow even though I waited for them to make it (I assumed?), and the bread pudding was literal mush. I cooked the I warmed up the meat sauce pasta and oven baked the bread pudding again myself to get a better texture and the tastes were great. A very mixed, confusing experience. read more

If I had never been to California I would put this place on my MUST VISIT bucket lists! SW checks all the boxes from food to service to ambiance. It's so tastefully designed and reminiscent of what you used to find in the West when it comes to a throwback country/western saloon-style venue and restaurant. Leave it to two Romans to finally get the vibe right in this genre of dining. We had the halibut, ribeye and their signature Caesars salad and all three were 5 star We also caught open mic night and that was a hoot as they say. Warning not to rely on making a reservation here as they still may not seat you. Showed up with a reservation and the host said "I know you have a reservation but it's Valentine's Day, so we're backed up. You could try coming back in an hour, but it's a holiday so we're busy." Yes it was a holiday so that's why we had made a reservation weeks in advance and confirmed in advance with the restaurant...it was Valentine's Day and our honeymoon. In the desert there's only a dinner spot every 30 mins or so and they all recommend reserving, so you might end up with nowhere to eat if you reserve here. I'd recommend reserving at The Copper Room in Yucca Valley instead (we ate there with a reservation last year, on a holiday too, with no problems.) read more

Okay, the place throws you for a loop when you see the outside. I was expecting a steak joint but was met with an Italian theme! The term Spaghetti Western taken literally! So the place is very spacious and the staff very friendly. There were definitely a home Del with locals and day trippers enjoying the ambiance. Now for the food! As I stated, I was thrown by thinking this was a steak place. The "Spaghetti Western " tie in was definitely from the actual movies known as Spaghetti Westerns were filmed in Italy. So on th food. I thought the appetizers were good and shared by all. The lasagna was a bit sweet for me. I felt it was made with pompadoro sauce vice a savory one. It was a little overcooked this made it a bit hard to cut through. It was tasty! It was a definite pleasure to be here AND to see a band play! One thing I do not agree with is the auto gratuity. I am not a fan of places deciding they deserve any kind of auto gratuity. I personally feel places should pay their employees enough that they do not require or need to accept gratuity in any fashion. We had a wonderful time. Just happened to roll in on open mic nt and got seated within 10 minutes. Ordered Ribeye, Veal Parmigiano and the pear salad. All delish but the penne could use a little kick of seasoning. Plenty of wine, cocktails and 3 desserts. But, it was Christmas Eve and it was packed so we understood the slow service, and a broken oven wasn't their fault. The food was DELICIOUS! Super cute ambiance, our server was so sweet and kind. Great staff great food, We drive from Palm Desert at least every two weeks for dinner.

It was worth the 20min drive from our AirB&B, the food was excellent, I ordered Sausage and Peppers dish it was so fresh and flavorful. Homemade meatballs are a must! Save room for the Bourbon Brown Butter Bread Pudding, it takes about 15-20min to come out, worth it! We didn't have a reservation and were able to be seated right away. There was a live band playing as well and the ambiance is on point as well as service. read more

My friend and I were visiting Joshua Tree for the weekend and we were in search of dinner near by our rental. This place popped up with great reviews so we decided to give it a try. To be honest I didn't really know what to expect going into this place. Very saloon like on the outside, western style decor on the inside, there was a little up stage area in the middle of the place and also a piano with someone playing. The music entertainment was great, not too loud so you could still have conversation. Our server was the bartender; overall he was a good waiter, definitely very friendly. I was impressed with the menu; I wasn't expecting such a variety. We ordered the meatballs to start; which were delicious and you could tell were made in house. And i splurged for the ribeye. The steak was cooked to my temperature liking; however it wasn't the best ribeye. Tad tough. The potatoes were amazing. I would definitely frequent this place if I lived in the area. Definitely check this place out and don't judge a book by its cover. The food was yum! read more

We stopped in on the drive back home, lived the theme and ambiance on a Sunday, had my daughter with me so appreciated the decor and theme and also the Italian cuisine was delish ! I got the steak and it was seasoned and cooked at medium just right my daughter got the spaghetti which was flavorful and hubby got the Lasagna which also was good, cheesy flavorful. I've had quite a few people recommend this restaurant to me for the past couple of months. I went in on Sunday with a group of friends. It was our first time trying Spaghetti Western and we didn't quite know what to expect. It's a large restaurant. The staff was friendly. We arrived right before the live music started playing. We sat on the side that looked like a brothel. It was fun to look at all of the decor. The food was strange to me. The complementary bread was a little dry. The Caesar salad was anything but a Caesar salad. It was made with spring mix and had large chunks of cornbread croutons. The pizza/flatbread was just OK. It was a "caprese" but it wasn't. The mushroom pasta was the best thing we ordered. I get the idea of the restaurant, but I don't think the Western themed Italian food works for me. read more

We have been wanting to try this place out and saw an opportunity to do so since they were open Thanksgiving evening. We were not disappointed! Food was great, we both ordered the traditional Turkey dinner and it was a big plate of all the usual classics. Turkey was super moist, stuffing, potatoes and veggies were perfect complements. Drinks were delicious too! Darlin Clementine was my favorite and my husband's was the Redwood Rattlesnake. Very reasonably priced and staff was lovely. Star gazing thru the desert of Morongo Valleys Palm Springs in thru Yucca Valley we eyed this old Buffalo on the roof of what we would think was that of a cowboys roped dream, but inside the mixture of hipsters cowboys and free spirits I came across an Italian Bolognese style Lasagna accompanied by a Beets Salad and a Rattlesnake drink to cure any of your dusty desert woes. The host was a free spirited young man that made you feel as you just entered the safest of any earth's quality zones. My family and I went here for the first time last night, we are fairly new to the High Desert, however this place was amazing! Ethan our server made some amazing recommendations & we were not let down. The Cali Burger was a bold choice by my husband coming to an Italian restaurant but we were not disappointed. First time here to celebrate a relatives friend's 50th birthday. The food was really good to the point where you'd want 3rds. The service was really good. The bartenders were limited on drinks due to it being a birthday party but they were still delicious. The sound and entertainment was very well organized. We went early Friday night after Thanksgiving. Cristy was our server and she couldn't have done a better job taking care of us. The food was really delicious although I was in the mood for pizza, which they don't serve. Salads were great, entrees exceptional and the hot Pazookee style chocolate cookie was decadent.
