Love this place. Such a cool place to hangout with friends or a date. Food was amazing, dessert was delicious. Caution for the waiting list and waiting time. Not your cup of tea if you are in a hurry! Definitely will come back again

Loved the ravioli!
Leanne E.

I really enjoyed the ravioli here but was not a big fan of the Italian sausage dish or the black pasta with octopus. The service was nice, they spoke some English. They have two large community tables which we really loved. They don't serve bread while you wait, only a piece with your meal. It wasn't expensive either, it was fairly priced I felt. I ordered a small salad that came with radish but it only comes with cheese and radish. I added some balsamic and olive oil to give it some flavor. I would return for the ravioli but I would not recommend the black pasta or the Italian sausage dish.

Pasta in tomato sauce

The food here was really amazing! We got pasta with tomato sauce and pasta in a wine sauce with mussels. Both pastas were so flavorful and the pasta itself tasted very fresh. One of the best meals we had in Amsterdam! It was reasonably priced at around $10-12 per pasta dish. Would highly recommend! There is seating outside and inside. I have a tree nut allergy and they were very accommodating!

#5 with sausage and eggplant. Very delicious!

Super cute and cozy restaurant! The menu is super simple, there are 6 options to choose from. I went with a big group and each of us got a different thing so we got to try all of them! Everything was delicious! The portions were pretty large as well. Free water on the tables as well which was a huge plus!

The pasta is great. The menu is completely in dutch. The dish for me was a shot in the dark, because I couldn't understand the menu at all.

Service is interesting - only one waiter who takes the order and brings the food and drinks, one busboy, one person you pay at the cash register. One chef you see through the window. Ambiance is cozy and rustic. House wine is Montepulciano and its medium body and delicious. Salad was fresh and seafood pasta was large amount of pasta and seafood. Highly recommended!

Found Trattoria Totò, a small Italian restaurant while walking to our favorite coffee shop in…read moreAmsterdam, and we decided that we should make a reservation for that night right after dropping our bags off at our nearby hotel. Boy, we got lucky that we did. My parents and I have been in Europe for almost two weeks now and I kept thinking that I was in Italy the entire time while at this restaurant, as we did so much traveling. It was within walking distance of the hotel we were staying at, which was a plus. The restaurant is so small that it only has about eight tables and one waiter doing all the work, plus two chefs working in the kitchen. During our time there, lots of people that did not have a reservation were being turned away. We were seated at a table that had a decent view of the kitchen, though trying to get into my seat was a little tight. We started off with a glass of Pinot Grigio white wine, which is basically what we've been drinking at like every restaurant during our trip. This time, rather than sharing a bottle that was at our table, we just had the wine from the glass. After trying out so many different kinds of white wines over the past two weeks, I think I've grown to enjoy them so far. The food here was outstanding and delicious. I had the Pasta Bolognese, my dad had the ham and mushroom pizza, and my mom had the ravioli. The pasta just exploded with flavor in my mouth, including the Bolognese itself. My dad commented that this was one of the best pizzas he's ever had so far, and my mom commented that her ravioli was super flavorful, including the sauce that came with it. This is your taste of Italy right here in Amsterdam. Would highly recommend to other people!
