I would give them ZERO stars if I could! Since I bought a voucher for massage and facial in June, I have NOT been able to get an appointment. All summer when I was off, they kept telling me they sold too many vouchers and had no open appointments. The manager, Lisa, told me they would never say that, basically calling me a liar. I tried to book again at the end of the summer and was told they were only booking a month in advance and were already full. A month ago, I FINALLY got an appointment for tomorrow, 10/12 and just got a call saying they had no massage therapists on Friday and I'd have to re-book. They are horribly unprofessional!! Had my eyelashes done by Lisa - the manager- she assured me after taking 2+ hours to do them that they would last at least 2.5 weeks. She ranted and raved about how well she did her job and how I had the perfect lashes for extensions. It is now 4 days later and my right eye is basically left with no extensions . Some time back I bought a laser package for buy one large part, get another free. When I went in to use it some months later, the owner told me they never had such a deal and told me for what I paid, I can get only 4 treatments on my lower arms! I asked for my money. It has been a couple of months now and I am still waiting for my refund. The owner told me he already sent it but that I have yet to cash it! I have left him vM and emails and he refuses to return communication. I hate to contact the better business bureau but I think I am forced to do so. Also check there website and see that they claim to be a "medical spa". I would use caution. All these laser places are rip offs. I've been coming here monthly (aprox) for a couple of years and they are amazing! They go above and beyond to really get to know you and customize your treatment. Can't say enough about Lisa, she is an expert on guiding and educating what you need and ensuring you receive the results you want. I found out about Spa Fit through Groupon and was also concerned about the reviews. I just had a wonderful facial with a last minute appointment. The esthetian was friendly and answered my questions throughout. The facial massage was very relaxing and felt wonderful. The products also smelled very nice. I want to start by saying that i never post bad reviews but I was very disappointed in the customer service here. A couple of times I walked in and there were no people to be found at the front desk. Another time, the girl at the front desk had a very loud conversation about her personal life in the waiting room. Then, I purchased a groupon and they claimed that I came in for the appointment at the wrong time. I am diligent about being on time and it was in my phone. They couldnt see me and THEN had the nerve to KEEP the groupon not allowing me to reschedule because I didnt cancel 24 hours in advance - WHAT?? Then she's blaming it on the fine print on groupon. "You aren't supposed to use a second one anyway!" They took the appointment and put the groupon number in the system. Definitely..bait and switch...do not use them. I have been going here for well over a year to get laser hair removal on my face. I AM SO EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED AND UPSET. Having to shave your face is a nightmare - especially when you are told over and over by the staff that you don't know why it isn't working. This business is run horribly. I will never return. They try to get you to pay upfront for packages and I feel that is terribly rude. Secondly, they seem to have a habit of speaking bad things about prior employees that worked there. For instance, I used to go there and I was particularly fond of one gal in general and her name is Candice. She is one of the best aestheticians that I have ever come across in my years of age. Being an attorney, I know the inns and outs of the law and when I called there they told me that the girl that I wanted to book with Candice was no longer with the company. I was told she was having either a mental breakdown of some sort and would not be in the salon anymore or some type of issue with her family. To make a long story short I have the resources to get the correct information which I did and I went straight to the horses mouth. Candice did not leave because she was having any type of mental break down or any type of severe family issues. She was fired and told not to come back. I don't think they know this but this is and falls under the deformation of character clause. I would gladly represent her in a court of law because this also is considered libel slander. This place is the slimiest place I have ever come across and also consists of multiple liars, including the owner. To out right tell people false information especially about a person's mental health falls into all of these categories and I am going to represent her in court if she decides to go through with the charges. In my opinion she should. She is easy to find and on Facebook and I will gladly give out her address to anybody who is looking for her. This place is an absolute joke. I recieved a groupon as a gift for a 60 minute massage. My appoinment was for 11am and I arrived about 5-10 minutes late because my GPS kept taking me to the wrong location. When I got there I had to fill out some paperwork and was told I would be taken in immediatley after. The waiting room is small but cozy. I believe it was Daniel who gave me my massage and he did a great job! He was courteous and tried to get my in as soon as possible because I was running late. He started the massage immediatley after I got undressed and he ended at about 1155. The room was quite spacious, very clean, smelled relaxing and set the ambiance for a "spa like feel." I always feel like you should get what you pay for so if i pay for a 60 minute massage I want 60 minutes, not 50 minutes to account for getting dressed/undressed. Also I was a little late due to my own fault so the massage ended up only being about 40 mins but I still had a good experience. Daniel also had a glass of cold water waiting for me after the massage. I will defintletley be coming back for another massage and possibly other treatments/services and I would reccommend it to anyone for a massage. ( They also have a ClubFit 24/7 gym across the hall that seems amazing and I am looking forward to giving them a try as well ) read more

I bought a laser hair removal package from them and was so disappointed. The staff put the laser levels so low that it did nothing. I asked them about it and they would tell me it is too complicated and I would not understand. I told them that I want it explained. They explained it the best that they could, but they continued to put the levels so low that it was an absolute waste of money. When my package was up, they were happy to try to sell me more sessions for a ridiculous amount of money (hence why they put the levels so low). The staff was very rude and unprofessional. I have been going to SpaFit in Jericho for a few months now, I am on my 4th treatment for laser hair removal on my under arms and brazillian. I love SpaFit, the employees are very friendly and make you feel very comfortable. Although i have only gone for 4 sessions i have large patches of my brazillian that have NO hair. It is truely amazing. I went from having to shave every 2 days to going a full week without needing to. My under arms are the same. I would shave in the morning and by the end of the day i would have stubble. Now i can go at least 2 to 3 days without having to shave. My package was for 6 sessions. I believe the recommended amount of sessions is 8-12 so i will probably get a few more sessions. There are some great deals on Groupon. I would definitely suggest SpaFit to anyone looking to get rid of unwanted hair!! read more

Let me start by letting you know that I have bought over 5 packages offerred at Spafit over the years. I have been a client for laser hair removal and on account of my THEN positive experience I bought my cousin, aunt, and best friend multiple services over the years. This past June I bought a Groupon for massage and facial and was NEVER told that I had to have the massage first. The day before my scheduled appointment I called the spa and left a message on their voice mail. The morning of my appointment I called again and left a message requesting a call back . Finally at 9:40am the spa manager called me back. I explained that my 15 month old son was sick and that I truly needed to reschedule my 3:30pm appointment. I was told that i couldn't do so and any same day cancellation would result in spafit not honoring the Groupon at all. To cut to the chase i left brooklyn with my son and went in for my appointment. I was late by 30 min. I called 4 times while in route. When I arrived I was not greeted... I was barely acknowleged though I was the only one in the room with the spa manager who was much nicer when we spoke several times on the phone. Shortly after I arrived I met the aestitician who chatted with me and said she hoped the manager would work with me. I asked if I could pass on the massage and just have the facial. I was told that I had to have the massage first and that there was no time for the facial. Would have been nice if I knew that before I left my Brooklyn home 30 miles away. After my subpar massage the manager whose name I believe is Theresa said she would call me back and maybe "squeeze me in for a mini facial or something". I explained that any facial would be appreciated and that I have been a client at spafit for years. She was HARDLY courteous but I let it go so i could leave and get back to my son. 2 weeks later after leaving 3 messages to follow up I finally got a call back from the spa manager. She clearly forgot all about her fake offer to "help" . she simply said, "unfortunately I can only pffer you to pay $35 for a mini facial"... So basically Spafit gave me a $30 massage told me to eff off over the remaining $90 I spent on the Groupon. The aestitician was far more interested in offering a service than the spa manager. CLEARLY had my skin been a couple of shades lighter, spafit may have cared to treat me as if I was a valued client. Dont support businesses who hire racist people so willing to pick and choose who they think are important enough to treat with courtesy read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Definitely do not recommend this place. I've gotten laser hair removal treatment at 3 other places and this one is definitely the worst. The technician is careless. On one of my visits I was waiting in the treatment room undressed for over 40 minutes because she had forgotten I was in there. The bed to lay on never seems sanitary. I've walked into the room with a used messy towel thrown on the bed and she simply folded it back up and reused it for the next patient. I highly doubt they clean the towels or chane them in between patients. The technician did not wear gloves or use any type of pre or post treatment. She did not clean or prep the area and did not apply any aloe after any visits. Just the way she uses the laser seems like she doesn't care for or know what she is doing. To top it off on my final visit she burnt me all over my bikini area. She definitely had the wrong settings on when she used the laser on me because I had applied numbing spray before and I usually don't feel a thing but this time it was very painful. Half way through the treatment she must have realized and made an excuse saying something was running low so she switched the setting. I now have scars Seriously don't go here they are definitely not qualified for this type of treatment read more

I purchased 2 packages from Spa Fit (12 sessions). I have completed 11 sessions and have never missed a scheduled appointment. When I called this morning to reschedule my last 15 minute appointment, I was told by the manager Candace that I signed an agreement and would have to pay a $35 cancellation fee. I asked to speak to her supervisor and was told that there was no one else that would speak to me. I asked to speak to the owner and was told no. Candace and I discussed the reason for my cancellation (it was due to instructions that I received form the technician that I previouly used at Spa Fit), and Candace told me that the information the technician provided was incorrect. Candace agreed to call the technician and get back to me. Eventually, when Candace did not return my call, I called back and Matt the owner answsered. I explained the situation to Matt and Matt informed me that no one called me back because they were going to speak to me when I arrived for my appointment. Does that make sense? Then Matt infomred me that rules are rules, and he did not accomodate the request to change the appponitment to the following day. I've not experienced this treatment at any other establishment. read more

Beware! Laser hair removal is temporary. I bought a pack of 9 treatments of hair removal for my facial hair (men's beard) and it looks like hair is being removed but it's strictly temporary. It lasts for about 1 month to about 3 or 4 months. They encourage you that it's working and to buy an additional pack but the reality is once you stop the treatment, all the hair grows back on your face. Keep in mind that it is very painful and you do develop some acne as the hairs start to grow back. When I asked them if the hair grows back, they were very dishonest about it. They kept telling me that there was less hair on my face. At the end when I called them 3 months later, they said I need another pack of another 6 treatments. Basically, they want you to keep coming back because it's temporary and the hair grows back every 4 to 6 weeks. They want you to do a treatment every 4 to 6 weeks. No permanent hair removal whatsoever. read more
