I have been procrastinating on posting about my experience but it might be worth it for someone to be seen by this doctor (Dr Khan). I had something called Smarlipo in my abdomen area in May 2023. First the procedure was very uncomfortable, they pump a crazy amount of water into your belly and then it is suctioned out in hopes that some fat goes out also. My skin is now hanging and I was by no means a fat person (weight going into the process 121, 5'1"). Regrated doing this, but I felt like I deserved it for being vain! Second once the procedure was done, the doctor starts writing all his operative notes in the same operating room I am trying to get dress. I'm so dazed by the procedure that I don't care. Once he was done at his desk in this operative room, he asked if I wanted him to leave, I too was basically dressed. Finally, I had NO idea I would end up looking like I was 6 months pregnant immediately after the procedure! not even my clothes were fitting correctly. A lot the water was still inside me. Ugh! Originally, I went to Studio MD to get MORPHEUS8 it had good reviews. The medical assistant (Natalia) that did this was wonderful and the reason why I tried the Smartlipo. Unfortunately I did not see any improvement in my skin. read more

i am beyond satisfied with Dr Khan & his staff at studio MD regarding my chin liposuction procedure. I had this done in march with minimal swelling, fast healing time & barely visible scar where the incision entry point was made. Dr Khan is primarily focused on what protocols are the best for the patients outcome & overall experience to achieve the best results. Although i was very happy after my procedure in march, there was a very small area on one side that looked like it needed just a little touch up not anything major, i was planning on paying the extra cost to have this fixed as it is dr khan's valuable time & resources; but to my surprise , it was no charge which had me absolutely ecstatic & incredibly grateful to have found such a kind doctor that values his patients overall well being rather than only caring about the financial benefits. Dr Khan is incredibly cautious regarding sterility & technique... not even 2-3 months after my initial procedure, I as well as my friends and family couldnt see the incision as it was made extremely small). Although the numbing process is uncomfortable (i have a very low pain tolerance) i can't even say I felt any real "pain" just a little odd feeling as the needle with the numbing lidocaine is inserted which is totally normal. Throughout the numbing process / the 5-10 min wait period for the numbness to kick in, Dr khan consistently checks up to make sure you're doing okay & feeling as comfortable as possible. I could go on and on but i'll end it here & once again if you're the slightest bit interested in chin lipo run don't walk to see dr khan at one of his studio MD locations. Having said that, my preliminary review is that my laser person, Natalia, was the sweetest, nicest, and most helpful person ever. I was nervous and she put me at COMPLETE ease. It was my first time doing this and I didn't get an expensive product and she treated me like I was the most important client there. She didn't try to upsell me on ANYTHING, but was incredibly informative when I asked questions about other products. There was a discrepancy in the pricing and she honored what I was told without any argument. I truly hope that the results are as good as her service. On a negative note, the reception or whoever handles calls told me it was going to be fifteen minutes but I had to be there for over an hour and a half. And the person handling the calls misquoted their pricing. They need to work on customer communication. read more

The facility is very clean and they are diligent about proper COVID protocols (you complete an exposure questionnaire and your temperature is checked each time, everyone wears masks, sanitizer is plentiful and I've never had more than one person in the waiting room with me). Natalia gave me a consult and I was so pleased that I ended up buying a package. She is fast, accurate, courteous and very professional. It feels like someone repeatedly snapping a small, warm rubber band on your nether region. Any pain is quickly offset by the very cold air that's blasted in the same area simultaneously. If you're used to waxing, you'll get through a 15-minute session with no problem.
