Just had a facial here using a Groupon. I am looking for a new facialist close by so I decided to try this out. I would not recommend if you want a thorough facial. Although it was relaxing, honestly all she did was massage my face with a million different things. I was also under an infared light for well over 15 minutes while she sat there. I recently visited your spa for a relaxation facial, and I feel compelled to share my disappointing experience. The voucher I purchased through Groupon listed an incorrect address for redemption, directing me to 235 Robbin's Lane in Syosset, which led me 18 minutes out of my way. Upon arrival at the correct location on Jericho Turnpike, I was informed by the receptionist, who was also the technician performing my facial, that she was aware of the incorrect address, but that Groupon had refused to correct it. The facial itself left much to be desired. I was asked by the technician my purpose in having the facial and I explained that the purpose of the facial was to remove blackheads and whiteheads. Unfortunately, the experience was far from relaxing or effective. The room was extremely cold, and despite being given an additional blanket and a tiny portable heater, I was still uncomfortable throughout the session. The receptionist/technician mentioned that the windows were causing the cold. What was even more disappointing was the lack of attention to my primary concern--the removal of blackheads and whiteheads. After the facial, I asked the technician about removing these imperfections, only to be told that there were none present. This struck me as odd because, just two weeks ago, my dermatologist and I agreed to hold off on extraction during my visit so that I could get a facial and have it done at this appointment since I had the Groupon. The fact that the technician didn't observe any blackheads or whiteheads was concerning, especially considering I had gone into the session specifically to address this issue. Overall, I felt that my time and money were completely wasted. The service was not only below expectations, but the overall experience was uncomfortable and frustrating. I will be passing along my comments to Groupon as well, but I wanted to bring this to your attention directly. I hope that moving forward, better communication and service quality can be ensured for future clients but I will never return the premises seemed a bit seedy to me. I would like my money back. 3rd time facial turned me off. The woman I had this time went to move the steamer and it fell and burned my hand. She hardly said she was sorry, just that it was not her fault. She did give me ice, lotion and aloe. She didn't tell management. They didn't help anymore than that. Accidents happen but now it's their loss for carelessness. They usually offer water after you're finished, she just stared at a folder and accepted my tip (because after all she still did her job, so I tipped). I've never had the same person. It's kind of a mid-level place, not super posh, next to a gym, but clean and the rooms look nice and tidy, good quality tables and sheets. I was very happy with the massage, Esther really worked on my problem areas, asked for feedback throughout on the pressure, very experienced. Bianca also was very pleasant and gave a good facial including extractions, exfoliation, and LED therapy. Both spent the full hour. There are some really affordable packages here, like monthly facials/massages for $59 a month. I see that there are lots of negative comments about Lisa here but she booked my appointment politely, quickly, no problems! I'd recommend this place for sure! read more

I can't even tell you how rude these people are. I listened to Lisa be condescending to a woman asking her about a facial treatment, she just wanted more information and Lisa kept saying 'you'll be fine'. When Lisa left the room, the woman asked me 'do you feel comfortable here?' Tells you something! Once I said that after 5 treatments my hair has only reduced about 25%, I was told that I would need 12 laser hair treatments and then the technician was super defensive. I have never heard of this before. I have dark hair with pale skin, I'm the perfect candidate. I've gotten laser done elsewhere and never heard this or experienced this. Hair is gone in 6 treatments with my other body parts. I just kept on listening to excuses why it isn't working fast enough for me through a very rude tone. read more

I've gotten both a facial and massage here. For my facial, I specified that I had sensitive skin. That evening, my face was extremely dry and red and stayed that way for a week. The facial itself was horrible too. She pretty much just applied some creams and that was about it. The massage portion of the facial was horrible. Overall, the facial was unsatisfactory and made my face extremely irritated. Might I add, neither the facial nor massage lasted for the full hour. It was so underwhelming. The "massage" that i received was also horrible. Don't get me wrong, my massage therapist was sweet but all she did was rub me around with minimal pressure and it also did not last long. I've started getting laser hair removal in two areas. Lisa is sweet & seems knowledgeable however she creates her own prices changing things up on you a lot! If you ask her a price for a few other areas she'll tell you one price. If you call over the phone and she doesn't know who you are she'll offer you an even lower price. She has cancelled 2 appointments. One of which I showed up to the spot for so she claimed she'll compensate me for that. The second appointment she texted me a few hours before the appointment time and cancelled. I appreciate the heads up however if I had cancelled so last second I would've been charged a cancellation fee. She didn't bother to compensate me for this second visit. I think she can be sweet however she is very money hungry and does not respect her customers as much as she should. read more

This massage was not a good one. I woke up the next morning in more pain that I was in before. I wasn't able to tip on my card because all tips were in cash, which is very inconvenient. During the massage I was able to hear other people talking, which wasn't very relaxing. The lady also ended the massage ten minutes early, and that's not what I paid for. By the time the massage started it was 12:10. I paid for an hour massage and when I looked up when the masseuse left for me to get dressed the clock read 12:55. So they skipped one quarter of my service. I complained at the front desk the receptionist didn't look surprised and offered me the opportunity to buy another massage at Groupon price. Massage was ok -- extremely mediocre. No thanks. It's outrageous and honestly deceitful to take a prepaid service and shorten it by such an egregious amount. Went here with a Groupon. I just moved locally and really don't know any of the spas around me. I found this Groupon for a 60 min massage and figured it is def worth a try. I arrived early and the massage started on time. The location is within a gym. It is not a frilly spa that you walk around in bathrobes so if that's what you're looking for this place is not for you. I would give them ZERO stars if I could! Since I bought a voucher for massage and facial in June, I have NOT been able to get an appointment. All summer when I was off, they kept telling me they sold too many vouchers and had no open appointments. The manager, Lisa, told me they would never say that, basically calling me a liar. I tried to book again at the end of the summer and was told they were only booking a month in advance and were already full. A month ago, I FINALLY got an appointment for tomorrow, 10/12 and just got a call saying they had no massage therapists on Friday and I'd have to re-book. They are horribly unprofessional!!
