If I could give this "business" zero stars I would. I'm not sure how this guy Ken is supposed to be a functioning owner of a business with such lack of professionalism and etiquette. I have NEVER in my entire LIFE received such poor customer service! Apparently this guy has some sort of soft contract with my apartment management company. He threw an attitude at me and my roommate when I told him that I was going to hold off on his services until I did a little research on pricing. At that moment he FLIPPED HIS LID, telling us no one was allowed to step foot on my property except him, that DirecTV didn't even have internet and their sales people are trying to trick us, etc. As I was trying to explain to him that we could in fact go with any service provider we so choose, he cuts me off mid-sentence yelling at me saying, "THAT'S NOT RIGHT, YOU'RE WRONG" and proceeds to HANG UP THE PHONE ON ME! In complete shock, I call him back so that I could make sure he had cancelled my installation appointments. I said, "Excuse me sir, I wasn't through speaking with you and I don't appreciate you hanging up on me either--" He cuts me off once more, yelling, "WELL I'M FINISHED!" and hangs up on me for a SECOND time! Minutes later, I receive a call from him with my property manager on the line as well. His demeanor did a 180 and starts pretending to be polite because my property manager was on the phone, and he starts telling me how it's actually "for my safety and protection" that we go through him for our cable and internet service. HA you've got to be kidding me... You seriously expect me to believe you have any regard for me as a customer, much less, my safety and protection?! You are off your rocker if you ever think I would even consider using your services. I would rather go without cable and internet than use you! This person Ken needs to do some serious re-evaluation. He certainly will not be taking any command of my space and I highly recommend you do not either... Do not let this guy step foot near or around your home! Space Command is a fitting name considering his head is so far up his own ass it's probably in space. So, no Ken, it is actually for YOUR safety and protection that we do not use your service. I wasn't sure who to call for internet help, but i was glad i reached Space Command. Our building has very think walls with metal so the wifi wasn't strong enough. Now with their help and the installation of a boosting system we have plenty of bandwidth. They were also able to get us a better plan as I guess they represent all the providers, and it was nice not to get the longwinded 30 minutes of up-selling some of these companies put you through. I was asking about cellular phones and not only do they provide support, but i was able to get actual satellite phones for my wife and I for our upcoming trip to the desert. I have come across no signal locations when traveling there and you just never know when you might need to be able to get an emergency call thru. Thanks for the help! read more

Ken and his crew help to install a CCTV system on my commercial property several months ago. The system run smoothly without any glitches. It is remarkably reliable without any down time so far. Even better with App provided, I can inspect my property 24/7 without physically presence. The price that Ken charge is also very reasonable. My MGMT company for the building gave me their number and the rest was a breeze. Never been more disrespected in my life. I called to find out why Direct TV charges me an extra 200$ per box if you try and add boxes after the first install date. The guy said I should have known since day one how many TV's I would need. If i was going to have roommates get the boxes ahead of time. I told him It was cheaper to to pay cancelation fee and switch to time warner than to buy two more boxes through them ($400). He told me I should be honoring my contract and not pay the cancelation fee and that he is going to call and talk to my apartment manager? I am pretty sure complaining to my apartment manager that I do not want your service anymore is not going to help any. Rude phone support. Rude service. They only care about money. I am switching to Time Warner Cable as we speak. At least then you are not locked into a contract so they don't have to help you and your helpless. If you feel you are treated unfair there you are free to switch services. Do yourself a favor and look closely at the pricing before proceeding with Direct TV or this establishment. I don't even know where to begin. Ken at "space command" is the biggest clown I've ever dealt with in all my life. He jerks you around to a degree you'd be shocked by. I can't believe they are in business. He will charge your credit card for surprise charges and change his story repeatedly. He's an incredibly awful person to deal with from start to finish. I got all setup with security cameras for my business. They came gave me a free estimate and then installed the high def cameras no muss no fuss. Everything looks great and now I can watch what's going on at my business from my phone. I also had them install satellite tv on my boat which my wife can't stop watching. She loves it! The wifi signal boosting system works great at my beach pad also. I was having trouble logging in because of the very thick walls so they installed wifi dome access points and now I have no problem anywhere in the house. It's great !!!!! read more

I was looking to switch from cable to satellite tv service. I saw there were two providers, Direct TV and Dish. Ok what's the difference? I found one company that reped both of them, not an easy thing as I guess most companies rep one or the other, but Space Command installs both. They know the differences and can explain things very well. In short order I decided on Direct, placed my order and the next day Space Command arrived to hook me up. They made it quite easy for me! Space Command is a fine local company to deal with and Direct TV is much better than the cable I had. read more

I had Space Command come out and set up my mom's Dish network service. They came out and set up the satellite dish, however this review is for personal service. As she got older in age she kept forgetting how to use the controller and thought she had a problem with the service. Unknown to me .... Ken seemed to have walked her through he controls a few times (probably knowing she was a bit confused) That is personal service that I do appreciate from a smaller company .... and probably cannot get from a any large chain installation provider. read more

I just moved to the West LA area and looked on yelp for satellite TV and this popped up, at first I was a little iffy because of all the negative reviews, but I decided to give it a shot so I called. I got the service installed the day it was scheduled. I got DVR which has 1tb of memory which is phenomenal!! Now I can record, rewind, pause, and fast forward any show or movie! Our customer service experiences with Ken have been great, timely, courteous, professional and most appreciated. My niece and I moved into a new condo with very little knowledge of cable set up. Ken worked all the details out with the builder. The set up was completed successfully within the time frame he quoted. At the end of the contract when we needed to return the equipment, we were out of town traveling, and he went beyond the call of duty to assist us in returning the equipment in time. I've dealt with a lot of satellite dish installation companies in North America. Space Command is by far the best, most professional company I have dealt with. Ken is personable, and understands the concerns that his customers have. He is attentive and gives followup calls. Walter, the installer who I had the pleasure to work with, is very knowledgeable and well-versed in various systems. Space Command - Television Service Providers Near Me - Los Angeles, California

Used Ken for home security, camera system. He said it was digital but it is analog. He took out good, used digital cameras and bought new ones. DRV has to be outside because of noise . Blamed static on our electric panel but in reality it is poorly shielded, cheap cable. Brought in 5 different workers each needing my guidance. Many times workers didn't show up while I waited around for them. Left all their packaging, mud all over the place. License plate camera won't work with car lights on. . There was damage to exterior of house that he tried to fix. It is not at all workmanlike. He used my plastic bucket to mix cement, broke it and never said a word. Used my slate without permission to mount DVR and never asked. Ken lacks foresight, planning and knowledge about security systems. As a result I had to add motion detectors and lights to make all 4 cameras work. Ken started job Sept. 2013 and I gave up on this mess in Feb. 2014 and hired someone else. His last phone message, when I told him the camera wasn't working, was that it was up to me to pay for the labor to uninstall the camera. He doesn't stand behind his work.
