I was honestly nervous Space Aliens wouldn't be as fun as I remembered it as a kid--but somehow it was even better! We brought our 13-year-old, and by the end of the night we couldn't decide which of us had the most fun. The food was surprisingly GOOD. They clearly know how to smoke meat--the ribs and brisket were great--and do not sleep on the pepperoni pizza! The arcade was even better than I remembered, with tons of games and generous ticket payouts. After driving all day, we really appreciated that the staff never rushed us and told us to stay and play until our cards were used up. We ended up with hilarious, genuinely cool prizes--including a bubble machine and alien totems that are 100% coming to our next rave. Such a fun, nostalgic family night. As we were passing through town, saw this and thought it would be a great little break from a road trip and it was absolutely what the kids and us needed. From the outside to the fun creativity on the inside this was a great restaurant choice to have the kids entertained from the moment we arrived. We started with the BBQ pork finger food and wish I would have went with the BBQ side of the menu as they were fantastic. My Wife and Mother got the gaint loaded potatoes, kids went with chicken Tinders and a burger, I went with Cajun Chicken with their Cajun Ranch and we had a giant quesadilla. At least it was cheap. It was busy and we waited over 45 min for food. When the food showed up, I was embarrassed for the kitchen. The pizza was soggy with a doughy undercooked "crust" seems wrong to call it a crust. If you told me it was microwaved and not cooked in a beautiful fire oven I would be inclined to believe you. The only Space Alien themed drinks they had were sweet takes on Long Island iced teas, or margaritas. My wife had the baked potato, with barbecue brisket, which had 2 ounces of brisket in it. And the barbecue sauce was way too sweet. There was a bunch of shredded cheese sprinkled on the plate that wasn't melted. Just bad. Our server was nice, but when I asked what bourbons they had (after she told me they had a full bar) she said "is that like whiskey?" this would be forgivable if we weren't sitting in the bar portion of the restaurant. Really, in all honesty, this is a weird freaking place. But dude, it's so good! The menu boasts about ribs, and me being the Memphian I am, definitely opted for them. Well holy balls, were they good! Nice and tender with a good flavor. Wife concurred. Fried cheese sticks were amazing too. Daughter ate her entire hamburger that came with a cool alien bun. Service was good and our waiter checked on us regularly . The place reminds me of if aliens invaded a Mellow Mushroom and painted in black light portraits all over the wall. This place is loaded with alien art, statues, and figurines. We sat in the bar section and a complimentary basket of popcorn was brought out. The blooming onion is good. A definite must order if you're here with a group. The pulled pork loaded potato was not good. The potato itself wasn't hot. The cheese was not melted. The pulled pork was way too sweet from being drenched in sauce. Would not recommend. The pepperoni and barbeque brisket pizzas were okay. Overall, the experience was underwhelming. Mid level place right out of Roswell. Good ribs they claim first place, yes they are marinated and fall off the bone. Pizza has a variety of toppings and are from a real flaming pizza oven. The whole place has a couple rooms and all the walls covered with alien type mementos. Many gaming systems run off the play cards, filling a room and a few others around. Hope took good care of me and I drank two huge beers, ate a plate of wings (meaty, hot buffalo sauce, sold by the pound) and a plate of ribs (meaty, a little bit overdone, very flavorful) and watched a whole lot of kids having fun. -Food was subpar at best, the pizza was bland and needed every ounce of the red pepper flakes to excite any taste buds whatsoever. -Server was nice enough, but wasn't very prompt, the food came to our table luke warm, by the time it got to us the cheese was already starting to harden. -This is an overpriced gimmick more than anything else. You can tell where the tricks are just to throw a bunch of unnecessary charges for games and prizes! -The only positive I can give for this place is the ambiance of the deco! The owner obviously collects a bunch of stuff on their own and their display is absolutely phenomenal! -Overall it's not exactly my cup of tea. Happy Hour half price apps were recently cut down to 5-6 items...all with no meat. No wings, chicken strips, ribs, munchies, all on the appetizer menu, all excluded. This is such a fun spot in Bismarck for kids and adults. We took our 3 year old and spent an hour or two playing arcade games before we even sat down to eat lunch. The food was much better than I expected it to be. The burgers were cooked and seasoned well and there is a variety of options on the menu to suit a large group's different tastes. Fun little spot. They check the spacing in theme to the max. Bar from Mars, alien statues all over the place, video games and TVs for sports. This place pretty much tackles everything. Okay, so I found myself on a 7 week consulting assignment in Bismarck, ND. My hotel didn't have any kind of food and there was nothing close by, except for chains. Actually, they did have breakfast, which wasn't bad at all. But at night I refused to have pizza delivered to my room. I found this place one night quite by accident and it was worth the trip (actually, I spent a lot of time driving around the area - there are roads that just peter out from asphalt to dirt outside of town).
