Seems they have done a major renovation! Absolutely gorgeous, nice decor and finishes! But most importantly, they did a amazing job once again on my nails!!! I went to another nail salon down the street at Mercedes nails and the owner up charged me for Gel, which I did not ask for and then didn't shape my nails the way I wanted :( all for the total cost of $65.00 UGH. Spa Nails did exactly what I asked for and added gel for a total of $40.00 (fill) a new set with gel is $45.00! I will continue to be a loyal customer and learned a very valuable lesson. Update-4/18/2020 - 6 weeks later. Gel polish still looks good. I am posting my last picture. Just to see how good my fingernails still look. I can't believe how much they've grown in six weeks. Also, I can't believe how little my toenails have grown in six weeks. See the last picture below. Sorry this review is so late. I thought I already did it. But I don't want to go without doing this review. As I said in my check in, I had to wait a few hours to go to the doctor appointment and I was in the area and yelpers recommended this place. I stopped in without an appointment and was taken care of immediately within five minutes. Lisa was the one to do my manicure and pedicure. As I sat in the pedicure chair I asked her please not to do the full spa pedicure or manicure with the lotion and the massaging of legs because of pain and allergy problems I've had in the past. She obliged quickly and very cheerfully responded that that would be OK, she totally understood. She took great care to do the pedicure on my Toenails. Like I said, it has been a long time since I've had a pedicure. As I sat there getting my toenails done, I chose some regular nail polish for my toenails and some gel polish for my fingernails. When she finished with my feet, which looked beautiful, we went to the area to have my fingernails taken care of. I am usually very particular about having my fingernails being done because a lot of times the cuticles aren't cut correctly and there is still sharp areas on my finger nails when they're done. This manicure took a little longer than I expected, but watching how meticulous Lisa took care of my cuticles and shaping my nails and applying the different layers to put the gel coating on my finger nails, I was very pleased. I was amazed at how fast the gel coating dried. I paid my bill, and left her a tip, and went out to my car. When I closely examined my fingernails I could not believe how beautiful they looked and how clean the cuticles were. Lisa is definitely a nail artist! She gave me a card to come back to see her in 2 to 3 weeks to have my nails redone, but of course as we all know, we are on a stay at home order so I cannot go back yet. My nails are growing fairly quickly and I can see the nail growth below the Gel polish. But the thing I am amazed that is that the area that was polished still looks like it was just done yesterday. It is very shiny and there are absolutely no chips. I would highly recommend spa nails and especially Lisa if you want your manicure and pedicure done right! This place is actually really really great! Tina is amazing. She loves doing nails which makes such a difference and she takes her time to make sure they're done right. This place has tons of regulars too that kept coming while I was there which shows they're good! Go here if you need your nails done. The only bad thing is the smell is very strong. While the prices were reasonable, the service was surprisingly poor. They prioritized unscheduled walk-ins who we're getting mani-pedis and skipped over me several times until I spoke to the manager. My sister-in-law's manicure was done before I was ever seated and they rushed through both of our manicures. The only thing they did for the gel manicure I purchased was a quick file and the application of the polish. My hands never touched water (lol) and at the end of my manicure my hands were unceremoniously wrapped in a lukewarm washcloth and shoved into a red plastic barbecue basket. The customers all had a pretty good attitude but we were all in a state of disbelief. They seemed to have a relatively steady clientele but during my trip I didn't see why. read more

Simply said....disappointing. I could've done better job at home. The white line is way too thick and looks ridiculous compared to my natural line. The side are all dirty and not cleaned. White line is not straight in places. Cheap place with cheap manicure. Not worth the time or money. Oh and not to mention they don't sanitize their metal utensils... gross. And they "recycle" paraffin wax (that's what they said)!!!! So, imagine how many hands get in that tub. read more

Excellent service when you are not looking for capricious high maintainance nail polish. I've been to most of the staff but most of the time I'd personally or call in advance to have Tina. She's been wonderful since the first time I met her. They recently offered drinks to clients, starbucks frappucino, white wine? Yes please. The location is also very convenient to me as well as the price is very practical. This is way overdue for an update. The customer service is just gone. And maybe I am spoiled now because I found a few go-to spots for nails in Orlando but, I am not sure things have been updated since I first went in 2011. Spa Nails isn't your typical nail salon. For one it's a house turned into a nail salon and the set up is a little confusing. It's a small place that offers one room for pedicures (spa pedicure chairs and all) and a room for manicures. It's a little tight with just enough space to get comfortable. The staff is prompt and attentive. I was greeted immediately as soon I entered the place. What I like about Spa Nails are the prices. $22 will get you the spa pedicure (the most expensive pedicure on the list). Add a manicure with the pedicure and it's an even $30. For the service you receive, I think that's pretty reasonable. The massage spa pedicure chairs are divine! Anything that provides massage stimulation to my back, neck and shoulders, the way these chairs do, is an automatic plus in my book. I especially liked the end product. My fingers and toes looked refreshed and perfectly polished, exactly what you expect from nail professionals! P.S. The front parking lot is super tight and tricky to pull in and out of, but I learned while in the shop, that there is parking available in the back (just don't ask me how to get there). read more

This place has gone down to zero, in my opinion, now that they have new owners. I went in to get a gel mani this week. I should have known from the beginning when the 2 owners took turns working on my nails. They attempted to remove the gel polish off my nails by wrapping my nails for over 40 mins in cotton balls soaked with alcohol instead of acetone. They tried to, unsuccessfully, scrape the gel off the nails and ended up using the little Dremel tool to remove the gel. The skin around my fingers was extremely dry form the alcohol soak for so ok g and my nails were destroyed as it seem they used the tool quite aggressively. At that point, and over an hour later, I asked them to just do a regular mani as I did not trust their work. The more they touched my nails the more I realized they did not know what they were doing. I got to the point that I asked to hem to stop altogether without finishing the manicure. I could not believe that I was asked to pay $25 for this horrific experience. The staff was very friendly and took their time during the pedicure, the massage chairs were excellent also. I am no authority on pedicures but this place was relaxing, clean and well kept, and above all: wife approved. My Vietnamese is a little rusty but I was 99% sure the pedicure ladies were making fun of the size of my feet, i'm just lucky they didn't charge extra for size 12's. $44 for both of us was not bad at all for the long relaxing service, though I take 1 star off because they didn't offer any "end of the world" discounts AND the reading materials had no Car and Driver or Popular Mechanics magazines, just a bunch of celebrity gossip and fashion crapazines. I scoured reviews looking for a place that was cheap and that people seemed to like. I will now be getting my nails done regularly. My nail tech was Mercedes and I absolutely loved her. She was great about making sure she was doing what I wanted, asked questions about cuticles, nail length, I've never been asked my preference before and it felt great. The sign says "first place 2007." They must be under a new management... I can't even determine a category where they could possibly be front runners now. It took her 10 min to finish my pedicure. She was in a hurry, even though they weren't busy at all. I left with my nails uneven, and with cuticle that I could see underneath the thick polish nail job.
