I love this place…read more After a year of coming here I have had my nails done by many of the different nail techs and each time I have been impressed by how much they seem to care about the job they are doing. With that said, there are varying levels of skill at this salon. Just like you would find at any salon. You can pick a specific nail tech of your choosing if you prefer. Cynthia, the owner, is wonderful. It's not easy to run this sort of business but she does a great job and genuinely cares about the customers and her employees. You can tell by the regular laughter floating around the place. I will keep coming to this local salon for a long time to come.

I walked in and let them know about my appointment, I saw them check their book and confirm I was on there. She then told me to check in on the kiosk and pick my color. I followed the woman to a pedicure chair where she informed me that I shouldn't sit there and it was for someone else. About two minutes later, a woman walks in and thanks her for squeezing in an appointment. Wow. She tells me to go speak to the manager. He asks can I wait because there are three other people ahead of me, I said no I really couldn't and that's why I made an appointment. Very, very disappointing experience. Why let me check in for my appointment but then don't service me? Why was another woman with an appointment serviced before me? Why was there no real solution offered except wait for an undisclosed amount of time? I thought people were friendlier down south but clearly the businesses are not. 0/10.

The lady I got my pedicure with was WONDERFUL (her name is Karen), and she took her time with my pedicure and the recommendations. When I came back for my manicure though, the young lady who did my nails did kind of rush me through my service and my gel manicure started to chip within two days. I called in and asked for a repair and Ms Karen serviced me upon returning and it's been almost a week and my manicure still looks fresh! I'm so happy with my results. I will be regula booking with Bliss.

The salon offers LOTS of different colors, and different brands of gel polish. I got a gel manicure and pedicure, and I felt that my technician really took her time and did a great job. She did 3 coats without me asking, because the color was MUCH lighter than was in the bottle- I appreciate small things like that. $100 for both (and the extra massage)- I will definitely be back here!!! Note- only street parking. Wasn't hard for me at 11 am on a week day, but not sure of the parking at later times in the day or on the weekends. Have heard there is a nearby parking garage (but didn't see it). Lots of construction going on, on the same street as well.

The salon seated a child right next to me who was watching videos on her phone without headphones. The volume was loud enough that I eventually had to ask the parent to turn it down myself. He became upset, which made the situation uncomfortable. This should not have been my responsibility. The salon has rules about using headphones, and they should be the ones enforcing them so customers can enjoy a peaceful environment. I come to a nail salon to relax, not to manage other guests' behavior. Because of this experience, I won't be returning.

However, both times, after I had arrived at the location (a 30+ minute drive) I was told that, for some reason or another, they could not complete my appointment and I would have to reschedule. I ended up contacting Groupon and trading in my vouchers so I could use the money on a more reliable business.
