Both my daughter and I came away with injuries to our hands after getting manicures. It's been 2 days and the hangnail they gave me is still red and painful. I am a nurse and I'm afraid of getting an infection because of the painful cuts that I received - both from the sharp edges on the Emery boards used (incorrectly) to file my nails and when they were trimming the dry skin around my nails. My daughter also had to come home and file her nails smooth after the hack gel paint job she got.

This has to be the most unsanitary nail place I have seen in NC. I'm sure the tool they used to scrap my feet has been on multiple people. I should've looked at the inside i.e beat up towels, no disposable bag in the pedicure tub. I should've known by just looking inside. I have never been here before and wanted my nails done before I went to get food. I usually don't complain about nails but I literally couldn't walk out with these nails. They were not only cut down and not filed they were also not cleaned up. I told the nail tech I didn't like it and to just remove it. Pedicure cost $25 and she charged me $18. I don't recommend this place and I really regret coming here and wasting my time and money.

I have been very happy with my several years of getting pedicures at Spa Nails. To address a concern of some other reviewers: The place has recently been remodeled and is sparkling clean -- new paint and floors, new manicure stations, new pedicure chairs, etc. Work areas have been rearranged to open the area up more. Note: This does not offer a posh, high-end spa experience but a great place for what I want: A reasonably priced, efficient, pleasant experience with friendly staff who seem to like customers and each other. They take walk-ins and appointments. read more

Do not go here! I get gel polish on my toes. My regular nail tech moved salons and couldn't see me so my mom suggested I go here to get a quick pedicure. The tech working on me drilled a hole through my toenail because her drill was too high. I asked her to turn it down several times! Then she was planning on just putting gel polish on my toenail until I asked is that skin I see. The manager then tried to act like I came in with the hole in my toenail (which I didn't). So unprofessional! I called state boards on them. DO NOT GO HERE! read more

New to the Triangle and gave this place a shot since it's near my house. Got a pedicure and all seemed fine, cute nails, inexpensive and speedy service. ...Until some time passed and as the nails began to grow out they were thicker than usual, there was an obvious ridge in both my big toenails from where I had had a Spa Nails pedicure. ...Fast forward a few months and both my big toe nails have actually peeled off from that pedicure. Apparently this shop gave me a fungal infection!!!! I've never had an infection before and haven't had a pedicure anywhere else (I usually do my own nails with my own clean equipment). Gross. Painful. Unattractive. Do NOT go to this nail salon!! read more

Literally had me sitting in the pedicure section for 40 minutes waiting on someone to take my appointment. The place was dirty the workers are rude and I couldn't even get a spot in because they were understaffed. Kept on saying 5 minutes but ended up being an hour wasted. Never again. read more

Wonderful in my opinion. Didn't have an apointment so I had to wait, but it was only a short time. I got a full set if gel nails with gel polish and they looked perfect. The lady that did them was friendly and conversational. I don't usually do things for myself and it was nice for a change. I am actually going back today for a fill and new color. I am officially done. This is the most unprofessional place in existence. I had 3 tech changes. I requested one person and he jumped from here to there to there. I soaked for an hour which I was ok with but they don't listen and try to change things for their convenience. Yeah I'm officially done. I need someone to offer some degree of professionalism along with a dose of at least acceptable customer service. read more

This is a great place!! I always get Great service and friendly people!!! Once in a while you have a short wait but they always try to get you in as soon as possible. Fun environment. They offer you sodas or water and they are always trying to make your visit pleasant. They do a great job with manicures and pedicures!! read more

For the detox part we were hooked up to a machine and our feet placed in buckets of water for 30 minutes. We both kind of dozed off because we were so relaxed. I think next time I'd skip the detox and do more of the reflexology, and maybe add a pedicure! I wasn't sure what to expect but this was a really nice experience. I think it was great value for money too.

A simple "sorry that happened" would have totally saved this fiasco. Even for private business, customer service requires the skills to be gracious, and that was sadly lacking. I am an ally of the clear community and prefer to patronize small women or businesses, but this one for sure is crossed off my list.

The nail tech polished my nails before the Dip set up and dried. There were all lumpy and bad looking. I waited a few days before I had the polish removed and the repairs redone. Even the hostess looked at them and commented as she remembered me coming in a few evenings before. Two different people removed the polish and started the second repair. The owner assured me that she would charge $$$ for the SNS dip. My thought was that they should have gladly repaired a bad job at no cost. I am a very regular customer. No one took responsibility for a hurried manicure. I expected more for over a hundred dollars.

We were offered drinks and seated promptly for our special pedicure, we got the fall seasonal pedicure that was on sale and enjoyed it a lot!
