One lady wasn't the nicest and could have done a better job on filing my nails. Needs some work on their hospitality and customer service.

Very sweet staff! If I wanted a friend or a kind word vs a fresh mani pedi in a limited kidless amount of time, I'd know where to go... But for the expected service, they were underprepared. Although approx 20 seats, the staff of 4 could not well manage only 5 guests at a time. I commend them for trying... but dread to think what prime time Sat rush would be if service took almost 2.5 hours on a vacant random Thursday. In there defense, there's new management and transition. Just not sure that excuses the sparse gel polish supply or unreliable gel x pro who failed to show for his shift Instead, I became the experiment of a highly determined new guy on his second day at the job. He'd never done my ask before and it was met with inconsistencies, at best. "A" for effort but not full-price worthy work by far. In addition to limited staff, skills, and supply- they lacked sanitation. I had to request new pedicure supplies be used, as that was not their practice. I didn't observe used supplies even soaked clean between clients. I will say eventually, after a couple hours, all customers appeared to leave satisfied. One lady's manicure was the best powder nails I'd EVER seen. If this is your neighborhood spot, in walking distance, and you have time and money to blow, (and aren't a germaphobe) sure stop in. They offer cheap wine while you wait. Once they seem to better settle in, I MAY even return because they had willingness to perform well and potential. Until then, I'll go across the street and see the competition. If they are better in any one mentioned area, this place will easily be a distant (distant, distant) second. Ive been coming to Spa Nails 7 for about 6 months now! It is THE BEST nail salon I have ever had! So many regulars and they are so fun! They will offer wine and sodas or water. Kathy is the best! She is so awesome! If you like a family vibe, good, REAL people, like to laugh and your nails done fabulously! Plus GRWAT PRICES for this area... this is the spot for you! Kathy and I tried some cowboy nails on me, with stickers! They turned out beautiful but the stickers started to lift day two! I went back and she fixed them for me beautifull! Try them! I really wanted to love this place.. it's 2 minutes from my house so it's super convenient. The first time I went, I had to go back to get my nails fixed (just cleaned up and a top coat) but they looked ok. They did last SO great from the nexgen vs dip, so I went back! This time... I wish I wouldn't have. The lines on the French tip are SO bad - not even... and this nail has a black hair in it that I told him and he did nothing about other than say it was me.... Very disappointing experience. I came to this nail salon because I had a broken nail needed to get it fixed and I was around the area. At first just wanted the nail fixed but later the nail tech convinced me to just do the set so I did... unfortunately she did a very bad job and it's very sad because I expected more... she didn't give me a proper manicure and when she was done doing the gel she just told me that I was done... no lotion.. nothing at all I had to ask her if I could have lotion... no cuticle cutting or anything.. it was really bad.. she charged me $55.00 dollars and I paid them of course and didn't say a word but I recommend you to not go and go somewhere else. read more

Me and my cousin have arrived at this nail salon at 2:10 pm and people came after us and yet they were served before us and every time I asked how much longer they have responded "15 more mins". Keep in mind they started to work on our nails and then LEFT to work on other people's nails. If they were gonna have us wait for more than an hour idk maybe a heads up? but having us sit at our assigned seats and watching people coming in AFTER us and leaving BEFORE us is beyond me. 0/10 lol. don't let the kindness fool you guys, they don't mind keeping y'all waiting :) they started to serve us at 4:50pm. read more

This place used to be good, but sadly it has completely changed. I do not recommend this place. My Nexgen (dip) was done by a man that doesn't know what he's doing. He used the Dremel on such a high setting that it became hot while removing my old dip polish. And then he pushed down my cuticles while they were dry, which is very uncomfortable. Also, he kept filing my nails throughout the entire procedure, especially the sides of my fingernail. I think he was trying to get the correct shape, but he never did get them symmetrical. I ended up with adhesive under my nails, all over and down both thumbs, and cuticles, which eventually wore off. The color choices are nice, but that is the only positive thing I can say about my experience. Try the place down the street for better service. read more

When I ask for super short nails due to my work environment, they never fail to meet my requirement! Not only that, it was meticulously and well detailed to ensure it matched the length. I got gel on my nails and a job well done. Super clean! I just got a color change on my toes and that too, a job well done!! This place never fails me!! read more

I saw this salon had good reviews so I thought I would try it out. The lady didn't speak any english so she didn't understand what I was trying to tell her about my nails. She cut me in two different places, and both of my thumbs ended up being very visibly and physically bumpy. There's also streaks going through my thumbs. My nails are Definitely better then what they were going in, but I'm not happy about my thumbs being so bumpy. I feel like if they lady would have added one more coat to my nails, then it may have been better. It seemed that the nail polish was running out, the lady should have just been honest if that was the case. :-( read more

Terrible experience I don't know how this place is rated so high. They did NOT use a clean sterilized pack of utensils and lied that he did. NO offering for a beverage. The massage was him running his hands up and down my legs with no pressure at all. They have no hot stones either and the place just looks like a dump and isn't clean. Excellent prices and great customer service. Free beverage water, soda, wine. The massage chairs are comfortable, the foot rests are hard plastic, not cushioned but for the price I can definitely sacrifice cushions. I feel this was a clean and very well kept salon, with walk-in appointments available. Additionally they did not hurt my feet with scrubbing or cutting like some salons have done. This is the only nail salon that I will go to in the Frisco area. I've been a regular customer for over 3.5 years - I love the owners - Johnny & Kathy - and all of the employees. They all know me by name and the service is awesome! I've been to some of the other salons who advertise on the back of a Kroger receipt - When I used the coupon I got the nastiest look and the girl turned on her heel and walked away. Wait. What? Even with a coupon I felt like I had overpaid! No thank you. I'll go somewhere else where my patronage is welcomed and I'm treated with respect. Great nail salon! Everyone is so nice and friendly. When I get tips put on I always request them to have them cut short. This is the only nail salon that cuts them short to perfection. They do a great job on nexgen and ombré- I get a lot of compliments on my nails each time I do ombré. read more

I have been going to Spa Nails 7 for over 8 years now! They have taken care of me and many members of my family throughout all of my high school years through now! They are wonderful! No matter who you get, they will do a fantastic job! I specifically get acrylic nails that I like to look very natural! Their pedicures are awesome! I got the NEXGEN last time I was there by Johnny and he rocked, as always! They always ask how my grandmother and brother are, and offer soda or wine. I've made the mistake of going to many other salons around the area because of convenience or coupons and none of them can beat the pricing, quality or customer service of this place. The staff is always welcoming and personable and make you feel like a regular after only two visits. My pedicures and next gen/gel manicures are always perfect and last longer than from any other salon I've been too. And their pricing is equal to and sometimes lower than what you can get from another salon using a coupon. Love this place!! read more

This nail salon overcharged me twice, 95 for gel does and next gen set of nails. Second time around only got a pedi with my mom, gel, charged her 130 for just my toes and her REGUALR pedi and next gen NO tip. Makes NO sense. Johnny, the owner I believe, was very very RUDE and is not happy if you decide to choose something less expensive, like gel. I was in the area getting a facial way out of the way from my usual nail salon that i always go to, so i decided to try this one since it was next door...HORRIBLE, the lady who did my nails didn't trim my cuticles more than 1 second, my shape is supposed to be round but it's def round on one side and square on the other, I would usually tell the person to fix it but she seemed annoyed that i was even walking into their empty salon it was only 30$ so i knew what i was going to get...cheap service, now i have to go spend 45$ to get them redone, lesson learned! read more

Johnny has messed up the shape of my nails on a couple of occasions; I love stiletto. Today took the cake. I wanted to try coffin for the first time ever and they look like crap. Just moved here from Iowa, and I'm used to the awful condition my feet are in after a harsh winter. This winter made my feet so dry I didn't know what could make them better! Thankfully, these ladies did! My feet are so clean & moisturized! This wonderful staff is tucked in the same area as a neighborhood WalMart and a Frozen Yogurt place.
