Came here for the first time today because it's convenient location for me. Prices are much lower than usual in this area which was a little red flag. Place really needs a deep clean and fixing up... probably would not get a pedicure here for fear of germs. I got a gel mani for $25 and the nail tech took her time and found a color that was exactly what I wanted after the first one I choose came out too light. Not many colors to pick from. This place deserves no stars. I came in here to get a gel manicure and a pedicure and the lady who did my manicure cut my nails down so short. Then her boss kept staring at me like she was going to hurt me. I used to like coming here because it's so close to work. This is such a terrible place. I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK. $10 manicures, $15 pedicures, $25 gel manicures. Sweet staff and great color selection (mostly Essie and OPI) The recently replaced their pedicure massage chairs so everything works perfectly (unlike other less pricey salons). My color always lasts too. Also, there is a Starbucks a couple storefronts South which is really convenient if you like to grab a coffee before to have during your spa treatment. TIP: If you go around lunch time any day or after work on a Thursday or Friday you should probably make an appointment to avoid having to wait or be told to come back. read more

I have been going to this salon for over 4 years now. I refuse to let anyone else go near my nails! They are amazing. The salon is clean and Trang (the owner) is amazing!! Spa Mani/Pedi is only $25 and like I said, the salon is very nice and well maintained. You pay the cheap salon price but don't have the feeling of being in a cheap salon. Four years ago, on my new nail salon mission I had tried salons all over the city of all different price points, including Burke Williams and this place won hands down. Love Spa Lounge! I always get $25 mani pedi by Van or Jane ( two different women) . Their Gel Manis are really good too, those are $20 and last a really long time. I gave this place 5 stars because they are consistently good, reasonably priced and always are very nice, welcoming and accommodating. They do things right the first time, Ive never had to ask them to redo something or fix something and I've never left thinking they could've done a better job. Also, they take credit cards here but I think they prefer cash. The only thing I think could be better is if they tidied up the nail drying station a little bit, sometimes its a little dusty but theres also bowls of candy to snack on and water to drink right next to it so it kinda evens out i guess lol. read more

My mani's never last long because I cook, bake, and wash dishes every night, but they've lasted longest after going here. There are two guys that work at Spa Lounge. One is younger and less experience. Don on the other hand is very experience and knows a lot about nails. I know first hand because I've been going to Don since 2004. Two months ago I had dark bruises on both my toes and it was throbbing. Don told me to put tea tree oil on it and it went away. I live in North Hollywood but drive to Beverly hills just to go see him because I don't trust anyone else. He is the best, go see him at Spa Lounge and you to will become a regular. I've been going here for a couple of years and my mani/pedi lasts a long time. Great prices and I recently starting doing gel. My gel lasts 10 days, which I think is great. I tried a few other places and maybe they lasted 7 days. I also get a shoulder massage once in awhile which is relaxing and worth the price. I always find a meter for parking and never wait long. I just moved to the area and miss my old nail salon. So finding a new salon wont be easy for me but this place impressed me. First off they dont have massage chairs so if that's your favorite part about getting a pedicure this isnt the place for you. I arrived and asked for what I used to get at my old salon, Gel Builder. She said they dont have it because its bad for your nails (blah blah blah) and that gel polish is better. I told her I'm very rough with my hands and they dont last more than a couple days. She goes on to promising they will last and if it doesnt to come back and she will get the gel builder for me. So I sat down for a medi pedi. She gives me the color options - and they have a lot of options! The lady that did my toes did a fantastic job. They charge an addition $6 for callus removal. and I am happy to report after a week of my gel maniure - they havent chipped, still shinny and my nails are strong. grand total for pedi and gel manicure $44 and they charge $1 for credit cards - so take cash great first impression :) read more

Huge health warning for this place!!! The only reason i gave 1 star is because the stuff is nice. 1. I picked nail polish that is kind of dry and low, when she try to put it on me, she put some type of liquid stuff in the nail polish. That made me feel really wired. That means they don't change their nail polish too much and keep put stuff in it to keep it useable. 2. My friend and I went their late ( dark outside). Toward to the end of our pedi and medi their are FLIES EVERYWHERE! Wired small flies everywhere. It gets into my friends hair, on our skins. After we got out of there, we are ITCHING all over our bodies. Our face, legs, arms, head.. Whatever skin that is exposed outside is ITCHing so bad!!! This place is NOT clean and have some serious health clean problems! I will never go back there!!! read more

I've been to many nail salons all over Ventura County and Los Angeles County and this nail spa is by far the BEST I've ever been to. I came in with ragged uneven nails that had creases from my previous gel manicure and they took their time smoothening my nails out perfectly. I was so impressed during the whole process - they were gentle and had great attention to detail. Another thing that made me happy was, they actually painted down to my cuticle (other nail salons will jip me and paint way above my cuticle where it looks like I have a solid week of growth). I came here because I was following Don. Don is THE. BEST. MANICURIST. EVER. And the place he's working at now is very inexpensive for the amount of work and detail he puts in. Seriously. I choose a nail polish with some cute little hearts/glitter things in it and he made sure to let me know it would come out too sheer and picked out another pink to use as a base and then the glitter polish on top. Perfect match! Then he made sure each nail had at least two glitter hearts and positioned them perfectly on each nail. That wasn't me being picky. He just did it, because he's awesome! read more

Double Charged!! Do not come here!!!!! I worked a couple of blocks away from the salon and was in need of manicure. I came on a thursday for a gel mani and the manager Jane helped me out. Issue #1: They have limited colors to choose from and when you do choose one, they don't have it so they instead sell you on another color from their very limited selection. Issue #2: They put so little nail polish that I had to ask to get an extra coat for the color to come through. Im usually very understanding and was planning to come back because it was close to my work and I didnt really mind after all it was a $25 gel mani. I even tipped her $5 Then this happened Issue #3: I checked my bank account that night and saw that there is 2 pending charge. I went over the next day and talked to Jane the manager and she brushed it off saying "its okay, dont worry it wont get charged its just pending" She was unapologetic and basically just kept saying it was the bank's fault just to get me out of her salon. A few days after I checked my bank and the charges went through, and I'm pissed. Jane promised me that she'll fix it and that didnt happen. I got on the phone to tell her that she charged me twice, then she has the nerve to tell me that I should call my bank to fix it, a charge that was from her business. At this point I am beyond pissed, what kind of business tells you to fix their own mistake after paying. I told her this is not the right way to treat a paying customer, then she finally agreed to call her bank to get my refund which she said will take 5-7 business days. Never again will I return to this place. The way they treat customers is so unprofessional. P.S. my nails only lasted 1 week as it started peeling from the thin coating they put. I will never come back here!!! read more

I would really love to give this place 5 stars but I can't. I work across the street and love convenience :) Also the prices are amazing. But I can't deal with going to a salon where the women are rude and critical to other women. I don't have the best nails, Im aware, but I don't need to sit there and be criticized that my nails are "weak, too short, too little." I heard this the ENTIRE manicure from my manicurist and it was really unnecessary. Also I play guitar and piano all day for my job and I need short nails! - I explained this to her and still she was unkind.
