Polish changes are literally just polish changes here. I'm not sure if this is common in miami but I'm used to polish changes including filing at the very least. Wanted to charge me an extra $10 just to file my nails... Please. Not cool. Didn't seem to care that I wanted to leave. Looked really lovely. My 18 year old daughter & I made a last minute decision to get our brows waxed. We decided to give this place a try. What a mistake. 1. We entered the door to the far right of the front desk. They asked how they could help us & when I started to answer, he told me that I needed to lower my voice because there were people there getting massages & we shouldn't disturb them. I felt like he told me to shut up. Why would you have your massage area near the entrance & exit where people tend to have conversations. We certainly felt that we were not as important as the other customers. 2. They were significantly higher in price than at home. I somewhat expected that because it is in SOBE & on Lincoln Road. 3. Our technicians did a HORRIBLE job on both of our brows. Note - we both had someone different. Both women. It took about 30 or more minutes & our brows were just done a couple of weeks prior. 4. It seemed that she cared more about selling me the fill in powder than anything else. She didn't even match my color when she applied it. I looked like a clown. Which isn't exactly how you want to look on vacation or any other day. Maybe it was to cover up the botched job that she did. Then she just added it to my order & I had to tell the man at the front that I didn't want it. The same man that told me to be quiet. I would never go here again. If you do, be careful. They do such a fantastic job with my nails every time, and the environment is so relaxing! The staff at E-Spa is really really friendly and each time i go in everyone says hi with a nice smile and remembers you, even Brenda, the owner, who is always there. I get facials with Caleb and its the best facial you could get in the world. He's AMAZING..he does exactly the kind of facial you need and his hands are magical. I absolutely loved my experience at Spa E. I was looking for a spa in Miami and this one was recommended to me by the concierge at the Catalina Hotel. I was able to get an appointment the same day which was great. I had a full body massage which was alright, I have had better. The gel mani and pedi was the best I've ever had!!! I forgot the ladies name but she was a young pretty asian lady. She did an amazing job! The environment in the Spa is very relaxing and everything looked and smelled clean. Cons: -There was a guy who was getting some service done and wouldn't be quiet; he was very loud. Nobody told him to be quiet either, which was annoying. However, I'm sure that was just my luck because before he walked in it was very quiet and relaxing. -It was a bit pricey but it was worth it at least for the gel mani and pedi. I had the foot fetish pedicure. Admittedly, coming from NYC I was mildly horrified by the price tag of $75 for a foot job but I had no other option. The place is pretty and and comfortable, you just lie back with cucumber slices on your eyes and the chairs do all the moving for you, AND they give you cucumber water in a martini glass. Liana did an absolutely amazing job. Thorough, took her time, excellent massage. Worth every cent. Highly recommend. read more

love the facials here. Bernadette and Kaleb(?) always do my face right. I never know which facial i get, they usually just have an analysis and work their magic. Yes it may be a little pricy but it is South Beach and Lincoln Road but get on the mailing list. I go in for the 2 for 1 facials or other deals with a friend or who ever I can drag in with me. Yes I can be a cheap-o. Only issue I have with them, I wish they were in miami and off the beach so would be easier to get to for me. read more

Just had a four layer facial and gel nails done at Spa e with great results. The ladies here have a soothing touch whether for nails or facial massage. I love Taneisha in particular. Prices are high but then again it's the heart of SoBe and Lincoln Road so honestly the fees are normal for here. For a day of pampering they know how to do it right. October 2020 -Whilst we are all wondering what's next in life its important to take some time out and enjoy some pampering. During times of stress and tension, services are valuable. Spa E has been one of my most favourite beauty spas in Miami Beach, Florida since moving here over a decade ago. The facials, massages, med spa services, spray tan and nail care are all the best and delivered with expertise. Their products are now my products and make my skin the grandest, Repechage is what they use! Most recently, I am just back from England and definitely needed some tender loving care on my face and neck with my goal being glowing pure bright skin and feeling pretty. Goal achieved. Taniesha (who leads the Medical Spa division at Spa E under Brenda the long time Owner who is absolutely lovely) performed DermaPlane and the BEST Beauty of the Sea Facial. She is so professional and her hand is that of a Surgeon. My face was and is still glowing! I had a very relaxing mani/pedi on my way through town. It's tucked away in a courtyard off Lincoln Road. Vivian was wonderful.

I was very disappointed by my experience here. Spa E is completely open plan and everyone is just 3 feet from the next customer. I had to discuss the details of my treatment in front of 4 other customers! I felt embarrassed and stressed. This could work if it was a very low price quickie salon, but their prices are high end. Apart from that, I also felt that the skills of the staff were poor, and their attitude was disinterested. Beware that an 18% "tip" is mandatory, whatever your experience. read more

Well where do I begin... My husband and I went to South Beach for our honeymoon. We had decided a couple days before we were going to leave that we should get facials and pedicures. Took a lot of convincing. We had stumbled across this place just by walking around one day. It's very tucked away. When I walked in I ha asked the lady at the front desk if they had any specials. She told me they had 2 for 1 facials but you just pay $25 for the extra person. So my husband and I walked back to our hotel and picked one out. We called them up and told them we wanted the "4 layer fetish" which was $120. They told me my total for my husband and I both would be $195 which included facial, pedicure and $25 extra person fee. They set me up an apt right away. My husband and I hurried up and got there. When we got there I was greeted by the same lady that was on the phone with. I told her I wanted to change my facial I the $20 cheaper one and she said that was not a problem an she would let her staff know. The overall experience of the facial and pedicure were wonderful! The lady's that did them were fantastic. Upon checking out, I was told my total was $195. I informed her that wasn't possible because I got the $20 cheaper facial. She told me that her staff ended up giving me the more expensive facial. I was very nice about stating that I did not want to pay for a facial that I did not want. She talked to her manager and adjusted the price. She charged my credit card originally $105.00.. With tip included it came out to be about $149.00. I had even told my husband at the checkout that that was even cheaper than what I thought it would be and she didn't say anything so we signed the piece of paper and went on our way. I checked my debit card statement a couple days later and I showed a charge for $202.00. I immediately called my bank to notify them of what had happened. They told me my card was originally swiped for $105.00 so someone must have added in a $97.00 tip. When I called Spa E I talked to a lady on the phone and she told me that the person at the front counter would call me back the next business day because she was the who did the transaction. She called me back as promised. When I asked her why my card had been charged an extra $50 that I had not authorized. She told me she had made a mess up in ringing me up and that she was just adjusting the total. I told her that the price now was something never even agreed on in the first place even before I had changed my facial. $195 was original agreement and after facial change should only be $175 . I had also asked her that if my card was going to be charged extra money why did i never get a phone call to tell me so i could go back to the store an adjust it for them. She told me she did call my phone, which was a complete lie. She made me so mad that I had hung up on her. My husband called her back and told her that just because she messed up with charging us in the first place that it's not our fault and told her he wanted the $50 back that was never authorized for. She told us she could not do that but her accountant can and she would call on last Thursday. Still have not gotten a phone call. Needless to say. I will never be going back and if you happen to still go to this place to check your credit card statements! read more

i was working in Miami for 9 days, and on my 1st free evening all i wanted a pedicure so i could wear cute open toe shoes without the shame of a 3 week old pedi! i have only had awful pedi experiences in my Miami, so begged my hotel for a recommend..they led me to E-Spa, called, and got me in last minute (calling at 6:30PM) for a 7:30 appointment (they already got star for taking me that late!) i was not planning to get a facial or a manicure, but upon arrival to the spa i noticed how clean and lovely the environment was and how comfortable the chairs looked caleb greeted me, got me settled for my pedi. i asked what other services they offered and he told me (NO hard sell here) they also did facials. i am super, super picky about facials and only go to Kate Somerville in LA when i go. but Caleb made me feel very confidant, gave me a very thorough consultation and and put me 100% at ease i LOVE that they do everything at the same time. about halfway in i decided it was a shame i wasnt getting a manicure and they were able to add that, so i had 3 techs working on me at once while i was all cosy and relexaed on the lovely fluffy lounge beds they have - SO efficient one week later, my pedicure is perfect and intact. i did not even have to beg the women to please NOT cut my cuticles, she automatically just pushed them back ( a very good thing) my skin is what impresses me most- the day after the facial with Caleb i was glowing more than i had with more expensive facials, my skin was SO soft and clear. i have crazy sensitive dry skin but i had no redness or pain and no sign of overzealous extractions, he was really good one week later, i am still seeing and feeling the difference. finally- i am picky about skincare (i use mostly Sunday Riley) but the products that were used on my face really impressed me, as much as i was incredibly skeptical about buying anything from anywhere other than Barney's ( i know i am an LA/NYC snob...) BUT i purchased a number of them. the honey almond scrub has changed my life - its better than a multitude of other ones i have tried and has kept my skin baby soft. the wrinkle reducing cream is also truly great, and i am still surprised at how much i like it overall prices were very fair, especially considering the quality of the experience and how nice the space is. if you are in Miami, this is by far the best place i have ever seen to get nails toes and face done! it also beats out anything i have ever experienced in NYC & LA if you consider how fair the prices are! read more

I had a great manicure here by Carla, a total sweetheart from Brazil. It shows no sign of chipping after five days! Unlike most manicure set-ups, at Spa E you sit in a comfy reclining chair and they do all the work while you just lean back and close your eyes. So relaxing! I was a little surprised that they automatically added a tip to my bill, but I guess that's standard practice in Miami Beach. Not sure why. read more

I wish I could remember the name of the girl who worked on my nails, but I can't ...regardless....it was horrible. I left with 3 bloody nails (one bled the whole hour I was there) and one cut so short that it literally hurt to walk for a week. UPDATE my nails have all turned infected and are peeling back. It's so unbelievably painful & disgusting. I am so upset this place has ruined my nails. The picture I posted is after I cleaned them up since they keep bleeding and peeling.. I don't think there tools are clean. Be careful people. My fingers have been in pain ever since I've gone there & they are now all turning yellow, becoming more disgusting everyday since I got them done. Just a WARNING. Be careful. I hope this goes away and doesn't turn all my finger nails into fungus or something gross. read more

Spa E is tucked away in a beautiful area behind all the action on Lincoln Road. I went solo and was warmly greeted by Brenda the owner. The layout of the chairs had me wishing I had come with a bunch of friends instead. My mani while fully reclined with cucumbers on my eyes, beats the typical massage chair anyday.
