Unprofessionally late, no attention to detail, and sub par service for what you pay for. (This is in regards to the nail services only. I think Catherine the owner is absolutely lovely and talented). First time I came here was for mani pedi groupon which was about a year ago. Then I went back last weekend for a mani pedi and was reminded why it has been a year since I've gone back. And also keep in mind, I decided to splurge and got the beautify mani/pedi. I really wanted to be pampered. I arrived about 10 minutes early. So I didn't expect to be serviced right away. My appt was at 11. The nail tech did not arrive until 11:15!! I guess the bus was running late. But as a customer... I don't care if the bus is running late! Leave earlier! As a professional, you need to plan for these things. If your shift starts at 11... plan to get to work by 10:45. At least that is how my work ethic is. Because the nail tech was late, she needed time to settle in and get things ready so my appointment really didn't start until 11:25. I know Catherine the ower was a little annoyed that clients were waiting but she did try to salvage the experience by chatting it up and trying to make us feel welcomed (which is appreciated, but still irritated at this point). I tried to just forget about the wait time and just relax and enjoy myself. But as the appointment went on... it was pretty much like a regular mani pedi. I mean I was expecting a lengthy massage which in their description is a massage plus and "INTENSIVE" essential oil massage. I mean, for a 75 dollar foot treatment, I am expecting a massage longer than 5 minutes! Because the tech was chatting it up with the other nail tech, she wasn't really paying attention and only half-a**ed my massage. She was really caught up in her conversation so it seemed like she was just going up and down my arms and legs with barely any pressure. Intensive? NOT. AT. ALL. So unsatisfying! Now for the actual polish- I would have been better off painting my nails and toe nails myself. My nails were unevenly filed. The polish looked subpar. It did not meet my expectations at all for what I paid for--- and it was 50% off too! I would have been so mad if actually had to pay 120 for what I got. But I felt that even paying 60 dollars for the service I received was an absolute waste. There was absolutely no attention to detail. Bottom line- do not come here for the mani pedis. It is a total rip and you are better off going to your run of the mill nail salon by your grocery store. Seriously. DO NOT COME HERE FOR MANI PEDIS! *****Now, I have been here for the recovery facial. And I absolutely loved it. I would rate their facial services 5 stars (even though I've only had one facial here). My skin felt smooth and I left spa chi glowing. Literally glowing. And it was sooo relaxing and perfect, so well worth the money and time spent for the facial. It is just unfortunate to have the dark cloud that is the mani pedi service hang over an otherwise wonderful business. read more

The website posts 10-8 but the sign on the door says 10-6, no menu in hand because you have to look up above the cashier for the menu (& the hostess didn't know wut I was ordering when I read it off the menu), self serve water (never seen that @ a restaurant), they brought wrong food out to us (but good thing on their part there wasn't a charge), they forgot about my food, they never came to check on us, food was tasteless & my sister had to get her on to go box! read more

This is a great place to get pampered! Catherine is the sweetest and I highly recommend her facials. I go to Trinh for detox massage as well as manis & pedis. The cafe serves delicious Asian food and when the weather is warm it's a lovely, relaxing place to have bubble tea next to the koi pond. read more

A hidden cafe within walking distance of Depot Park. Very limited amount of seating indoors, but there are tables outside available . A variety of Taiwanese food on the menu. Pricey dishes that can use improvement. The crispy chicken rice dishes was just right! An excellent selection of milk and bubble tea. The dumplings didn't seem to have fresh ingredients. Came here after a hike (Rattlesnake Ridge) with some friends. This was my first time, but I had heard about this place for a while. I ordered a black milk tea with boba, and it was great! I liked how the tea wasn't too sweet, and the boba was cooked perfectly. Perfect for a warm day like today! Stopped in for quick bite on a Sat. Nice gem of asian cafe hidden in back street off front. Walking distance to community center. Ordered Veggie Noodle Soup and HK milk tea W no bobba. $13 bill. I've been here twice for a mani/pedi. The first time I came was with Jin and it was delightful. It was a 2 hour experience with different hand and feet masks, lotions, oils, massages and a beautiful finish on my nails. It was a 5-star experience for sure! The second time was delightful as well (not with Jin) but I was less impressed. The mani/pedi was a bit rough at times and the lady cut my nails down as short as they can go causing a bit of soreness for the next couple days. I was slightly jealous of the attention her phone was getting as well. The first time I came in, it was serene and gave me complete relaxation for 2 hours. This may sound a little bitchy but I loved that no one talked to me for those 2 hours. It was just so relaxing. The most recent time, there was more going on in the spa and it was slightly less serene. I think they just did a Groupon so there was a lot of reservation making and movement. It is to be expected as a spa grows (good for them) so I can't really complain. read more

A one sentence summary would be that the food was great but the service and dining experience has room to grow. First off, the food itself is great. We had the Chinese sausage rice, pork chop rice, and mango shaved ice. I thought the "lo-bah" was great. Lots of meat and not super greasy. Portion-wise it was about average. For the money, I would've like to see a little more shaved ice and more Chinese sausage. The setting of the restaurant is really nice. There's an outdoor dining area with a koi pond. Great ambiance. As for the dining experience, I felt the food weren't coming out as quick and the ordering experience is not as user friendly given that seating is self seating and the only menu is on the wall which was hard for first time visitors to figure out. One of the poster mentioned that this is probably the best Chinese food in Issaquah. I think in terms of food, the Szechuan Tofu house is still ahead. However, in terms of Tea, it's possibly the best in Seattle metro. this place brews their tea fresh, and you can taste the difference. They do have a limited kitchen, so the food is limited in variety. They have choices like pork stew rice, and beef noodle soup. I would say those are OK, but definitely not Facing East quality. Still, if you are in Issaquah, a stop for a drink, and some snack in a beautiful setting, is well worth it. read more

i had a very nice experience here. i had a shellac mani and regular pedi with tran and she did a fantastic job. she was very friendly and chatty, and did a superb job on my nails. she's a bit of a perfectionist, but that's ok! the atmosphere is a treat in itself. the pedi chairs face a huge, beautiful armoir with tons of colors of polish to choose from. the foot baths look like they're made of slate and they have large stones in the bottom. once the water part is over, they put the padded cover back on the foot bath and it becomes an ottoman. the manicure was done in the exact same chair. my one complaint i have is the uv lamp that cures the gel polish was hot. i've never had a lamp get hot before...it was pretty uncomfortable at times. plus, it was resting on a pillow on my lap, so it was too close to my eyes. i had to keep staring upward to protect my eyes. next time i'll ask for a small towel to drape over it when my hand is inside. read more

My new favorite spot in Issaquah. Food is authentic and has really good flavor. I always order their noodle soups. Sometimes I ask for more veges and less noodles, and they always oblige. The bubble tea is great, tapioca is soft and chewy - I've tried the lychee tea and black tea with non fat milk. Sometimes I add coconut jelly. The atmosphere is so cozy and relaxing, with a zen garden and outdoor seating. Nice decor inside. Good service too. read more

The worst place ever, the service was terrible, and the servers did not have any idea of their menu items. I ordered milk tea with boba, and after paid. They told us they were out of boba. And we were like what the x, why u are telling us after we paid. And we ended up have to switch to popping boba. Seriously, taste like xxx. I will never been there again. The beef noodles and the beef/egg wrap are really good! Big portion and really quirky and cute restaurant. This has become our usual now! Craving a tasty beverage I stopped into this quaint cafe for a refreshing drink and was greeted with amazing decor and atmosphere. The cafe was very warm and welcoming and the staff were very accommodating. For those of you in Issaquah looking for a relaxing cafe and high quality drinks, this spot is highly recommended. I have been going here for a couple of months now and they have been great every time. Love that my nails last for weeks (or until I get bored and want to change it up). I don't mind that they don't have massage chairs. The seats that they have are comfortable enough. The four star is for nail design. They don't do quite the job that most nail artists do. First of all I am 2nd generation Chinese from Taiwan and I speak Mandarin and go back to Taiwan once a year. Whether that gives me street cred is up to you. I think they have the best tapioca balls in Seattle as far as I know. Milk tea was alright but the pearls had just the right QQ consistancy. Beef noodle soup was bland and needs more flavor of anise, beef, spicy chilis. was good but I also ordered the taiwanese sausage plate and I think that is a better choice. Was alright was alright but needs to have a bit more meat and dried shrimp. was good. Ask for the chilis in soy sauce as a side because it is awesome. Why 4 stars?
