Then another 10 min for greeting/paperwork/disrobing. Turned my phone off at 445. Asked for deep pressure - received light. Mediocre massage. Turned phone back on and it was 549. Asked front desk about time - they said their policy is 5 min disrobing at start/finish, and 90 minute massages end 10 minutes early (so they automatically shave 20 minutes off). Cost - $153 plus tip for a below average 1 hour massage. Absolutely terrible. I want my money back read more

I should have seen the lack of mirrors during my hair and makeup session as a red flag but they wanted a "big reveal" at the end. My request for "smoky" eyes turned out as an outrageous amount of orange eyeshadow and very dark eyebrows (I'm blond). I am not typically a foundation wearer and the half inch thick they'd slapped on me just emphasized every line and wrinkle. I can only hope that the photos of that evening don't turn out. I'm in town for pleasure and wanted to be sure to schedule a massage for August 24th. The building is unassuming from the outside and once inside, "Wow!" A relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff greeted me. Lots of gorgeous hues of blue, lovely decorations, countless products to purchase to extend your relaxation once you go home and very clean. My masseuse, "Ben" has been practicing for 4 years and he was terrific! He offered firm pressure, reminded me to breathe deeply, rubbed my body rigorously and gently. Here in Savannah, and working for a little bit of time book early because spaces book up fast, we got the couples massage and it was super beautiful and calming and relaxing and comfortable. We also use the massage chairs at the end of the massage and got tea from the self serve tea. 15 minutes is not long enough but that's all that was available and so I asked for special attention on my shoulders and my back which definitely was relaxing. He said he looked at multiple places in the area before deciding on this one and I am SO glad he chose Spa Bleu! My massage with Torriano was so relaxing. My back and hips feel a million times better than when I came in. I really appreciated being provided a pillow to slide under my bump to take pressure off my back. Additionally, I appreciated the assistance I received with the pillow when repositioning myself to my opposite side and didn't feel rushed to get going at all. The owner of Spa Bleu has absolutely no professional integrity. I called and spoke with Lenon in September with regards to extending the expiration date on a $500 gift certificate that was given to me. I was originally going to use it in 2020 but because of Covid and the business shutting down I could not. I also informed him that I had been hospitalized twice and it took me awhile to recover. I asked Lenon if it would be ok to use it in 2022 and he stated it was fine. I specifically asked him in September did I need to bring the certificate in to have it reissued and he told me no. I called today, 2.10 to confirm my appointment and to remind them that I would be using the certificate on 2.11. All of a sudden he won't honor it. I have lost all respect for this business and will not be referring any future business to Spa Bleu. As a retired wedding planner I have sent Spa Bleu a considerable amount of business. For Lenon not to honor his word is highly unprofessional and unacceptable. I will also make sure this review is posted on both Google and Yelp. If zero stars was an option I would rate Spa Bleu a big fat ZERO. read more

I paid for their Couple's Retreat ($460 for 3.5 hours), which consisted of both a full-body massage and pedicure. (Customers can choose either a facial or sea salt body scrub instead of the massage.) *Full-body Massage: I passed out several times from experiencing bliss all over my body. The masseuse applied medium-hard pressure and massaged out the knots in the back and pain in the arches of my feet. I found them very professional and friendly. *Pedicure: I don't have a lot of pedicure experiences to compare this one, but I enjoyed it. They used different salts, to exfoliate skin; hot stones, to relax my muscles; and ointments, to hydrate my pores. The woman who performed the pedicure also took measures not to tickle me. Haha. I booked a 60 minute massage and a foot scrub. I arrived early. I checked in and waited for staff to get me. The massage started late. I assumed that since I was on time and waited that the time would be made up. It wasn't, plus the foot massage wasn't an additional service but rather cut into the massage time. I ended up getting a 30 minute massage and a 15 minute foot scrub. I thought the foot scrub would be extra time and a add-on service but it wasn't. The foot massage wasn't worth it and I would not recommend. It just lessened the amount of time for the massage that I was already paying for. While we loved everything about the city and surrounding areas, we absolutely would return to this spa for massages should we visit again. At 31 weeks pregnant for our fourth, I've had numerous prenatal massages. My therapist was Jara and I must say, I've never had a more thorough therapist. All my requests were taken seriously, the pressure (I prefer hard) was on point, and my targeted SI pain felt relief I haven't experienced yet, even from my chiropractor. Worth a visit!! They allow you to pick two essential oil scents and ask you where your issues are. Unlike other places, they ask but don't really focus on it. The staff here actually spent extra time on my knots. After a 22 hour road trip, the massage really felt like a slice of heaven! There should be a warning or compensation because it was noisy the whole massage which isn't ideal for relaxing... I spoke with Lennon at the front desk, and tried to explain there should be transparency before you book about the noise, but he was very unapologetic and rude about it. Bought a $300 gift certificate for our daughter that expired in Sept 2021. With covid and not comfortable with being inside was not able to use the certificate in that window. Called to ask for an extension to December 2021 and the manager was not willing to work with us at all to accommodate. We have gone out of our way to help small local businesses during covid and so many have been amazing. Disappointed the Spa Bleu would not work with us in any way as a local customer and neighbor. My massage by Stephanie was easily the best massage I have ever received. I got the Essential Bleu Massage and did the hot stone add on and it was a dream of a massage. Stephanie started our session by asking what areas I had concerns with / if there were areas she should focus on. After telling her and starting the session, she really focused on my problem areas and made sure a large portion of the massage was spent on them. Her pressure was just right and when the session was over, I felt a hundred times better and more relaxed than I felt walking in. This is your place for a very careful pedi. You will get more than an hour's worth of care, even though the website says it's an hour. It has a very exclusive feel, and another Savannah spot that makes great use of small space. The ladies doing our pedicures were very pleasant. Plus they offered us some good tea. Mmmm. What a way to feel warm and fuzzy on a chilly winter day. I can't say this will be my go to spot for every pedicure, but I will think of this spot when my feet need some extra love and care. This is simply because I usually remember at the last minute that I need a pedi, and you'll need to make an appointment because they are very popular. Parking here can be tough, as you'll need to feed a meter and you'll probably hit the max time. The good thing is the folks here will kindly run out to your car and add more coins. read more

Spa Bleu - The spa that lacks southern charm. My friend and I were looking for a place to get a last minute mani/pedi and came across 'Spa Boo'. I was going for the pedi and she the mani. We wanted to get the services at the same time - the next availability was the following morning at 10:00 am. My friend already had gel on her nails which needed to be removed. This process takes all of what, 5 minutes.... The woman at the front desk was lovely and went back to ask (I'm guessing a manger) if she could book my appt. at 9:45 am and then my friend at 10:00 am. Apparently due to the gel removal, he could not accommodate her; my friend overheard the his rude/cheeky response. When the receptionist got back to the desk she said she could not do the appointment, I even offered to cut my appointment time. She could see my friends frustration and tried to accommodate however my friend responded "no thank you, I heard the guy say he 'absolutely can't' do it." By this point, there was no way she was giving them her business. I also wanted to cancel my appointment but my friend insisted I go. Note: There is a 24 hour cancellation policy. Cancellations made less than 24 hrs in advance are charged the full amount of the service. Ambiance: Located on the 2nd floor, the 'spa' is cozy. The waiting area is quaint, offering a limited amount of products for purchase and complimentary coffee/water. They use products by Eminence that are 'organic' and handmade in Hungary. Ingredient lists are not provided on the website with each product description.... Pedicure: I got the honey pedicure with Lacy. Lacy was WONDERFUL, sweet, warm and welcoming; an absolute delight. Lacy loves her job and takes pride in her work. I just did a 'baby feet' treatment so my feet were peeling like crazy. Lacy was so patient and did the best job she could at getting all the skin off. She really did well. She also gave a very nice (strong) foot massage which I really enjoyed. The prices are very reasonable...especially coming from Manhattan. The pedicure chairs are awkward to say the least. I am 5'9 and I was very uncomfortable, almost too tall for the chair. I never felt like I was stretched out or relaxed. They have to manually change out the water; there's not an attached faucet. The 'sink' of the pedi chair was a plastic (disposable maybe) bowl that sat over what looked like a hot plate. It was like a portable pedi chair. The pedi chairs the JFK are more comfortable/functional than this. The overall pedicure was great and my toes looked very nice however I will say it's only been 4 days and I have 3 toes without polish. I even got the guarantee one week polish! My pedicures last at least 3 weeks; 4 days is disappointing. I am guessing maybe the top coat or quick dry used might be the reasoning for the chipping? Overall, I would not go back to this spa solely based on the attitude that my friend received and management not willing to accommodate. Also the chairs! Lacy is wonderful and I would DEFINITELY get another pedicure with her, if I lived in the area she would be my go-to (yes she's that great) I would just not be going to 'Spa Boo'. read more

Rating 3.5 Booked a $600 day for my best friend and I who was turning 30. Called 3 weeks in advance to book appointment and spoke to a very nice young lady, Liz. At that time I booked 3 services each for us - massage, French mud wraps, shellac manicures (later I added more services). The morning of the appointment the manager informed me that I couldn't do both shellac at the same time and we would have to just wait on each other or purchase another service for one of us to do during the down time. Not pleased with that. The massage and mud wrap was amazing - one of the best I've ever had, and our therapists were so friendly and accommodating. Manicures sucked. I've been getting shellac for over a year at a traditional Asian nail salon, these Salon Bleu women could use a few lessons from them. No cuticle removal, a little yellow sponge they tried to use as a buffer - lame. Not friendly. We ended up adding a spray tan and Remy did a great job. $35 is pretty good price. Overall, I'd say we would go back for the massage services and tanning, but will go to Asian nail salons for manicures. read more

Love this place. The decor is cute and comfy. The aromatherapy is the first to greet you as soon as you step off the elevator. You instantly start to relax before you even walk in. Once you do the front desk staff immediately work to further your transition. They offer you a glass of wine, or a cup of coffee or tea and tasty fresh baked snacks. Today's visit yielded an amazing pedicure and manicure with Ms. Cora Lynn. She very gently worked to transform my weathered hands and feet into smooth, beautifully groomed works of art. I booked a massage for my friend and a gel mani pedi for myself. When I arrived, I was notified that they do not offer gel pedicures so I informed the technician that there must have been some confusion and I only wanted a gel pedicure for that price and I wasn't wearing shoes that I could get a regular pedicure with. She was nice and understanding and I had a gel manicure that took over 1 hour... when I was checking out the receptionist was very rude and said " I booked your appointment and when you asked for a gel pedicure I told you that I was confirming a spa pedicure" I asked her how I was supposed to know that a spa pedicure wasn't a gel pedi since that's what I asked for and she charged my credit card for both services. I did a package with massage and pedicure and added on a gel manicure. The place felt small for doing all of these services. The robe is thin and not a soft and comfy one like most spa places. I had the robe on for my pedicure since it was before the massage. The pedicure is in a small room but you have to pass by an office area so men were walking in and out while I picked out a nail color. I didn't feel comfortable considering I was in a robe. The pedicure was nice and so was the massage. They charged an extra $20 to remove gel polish which I have never been charged for this anywhere else. It took the lady 2-3 times until it was totally removed. Other places do it the first time around. The gel manicure took a long time - hour and a half. She did a great job but I didn't plan on being there for almost 4 hours. read more
