I had a very disappointing experience at Spa Bleu recently, and would encourage anyone thinking about coming here NOT to waste their time and money. I first came here in November to get eyelash extensions- overpriced, yes, but they were done how I like them (long and voluminous) and stayed in for a good month afterwards, so I felt I got my money's worth. Come January, however, when I came in for another full set, I was SHOCKED by what I recieved. I paid nearly $200 for short lashes that were barely noticeable. The "stylist" claims she's always given me these short lashes. After a lot of back and forth with the spa (even emailing pictures comparing the first and second set) they did not offer me any refund at all. Luckily, Milan Day Spa will be doing my next set and fixing Spa Bleu's mess for 50% of their full set price. DO NOT waste your money at Spa Bleu. It is a stuck up, snobby institution that is overpriced and (clearly) overrated. read more

Angels. My husband and I were driving from Tennessee for our honeymoon when the car broke down. We got stuck for hours and had to cover the unexpected expense to keep our trip from getting cancelled completely. I went to call Spa Bleu because we could no longer afford this part of our itinerary and one of the owners was the one to answer the phone... To my shock, he announced that we wouldn't need to cancel because the couples massage would be "on the house". This was so special to me to be able to have this treat because we have had a string of unfortunate events with almost every aspect of our lives including the wedding plans. This blessed us so much as a newly married couple, helped our body's and our minds after the recent mishaps and just proves that Spa Bleu keeps the kind of heavenly atmosphere where you wanna find yourself treated like royalty no matter the circumstance. The environment was clean and calming. My massage therapist was amazing and had a good instinct for pressure and comfort during my massage. I am very disappointed in the customer service. I had an appointment last week and a very serious family emergency occurred. I called to cancel my appointment. I am aware of the 24 hour cancellation policy, but I would have liked the receptionist and manager to be a little more sensitive to my situation. I was told "Well, if it isn't you then it doesn't matter" and then hung up on. When I called back and spoke with the manager, I was given tons of attitude and they said they thought the phone disconnected. ....then why not call back?! What a great place to relax in Savannah! The melt & glow spa package is worth every cent- and is really priced right!! They could easily charge $100 more and Id still do it! I am a first time visitor to Savannah and happened by this spa on day one. Booked my service for the next day. Had the Savannah Bee pedicure for which they had a 5$ savings on from their website. My pedicurist was Lacey who was delightful. She gave a great massage, worked on my calluses, and paid attention to detail on the polish. I also liked that they use a liner on their foot tubs so no chance of getting something from another client. The chairs aren't those massage chairs you see in other places, but I appreciate the sanitary conditions of their setup. I am usually disappointed in my "vacation pedicures" since my regular pedicurist is so stellar, but Lacey did a great job. Very relaxing experience! read more

My husband bought me the Valentine's package and I went in today. The facial was fantastic. The massage was heavenly. Everyone there was beyond nice and friendly. The only snafu was with the mani/pedi. The polish that was recommended to me has peeled off two nails two hours after leaving and the young lady doing my pedi really hurt me. I mentioned that half a toe nail had been ripped off last week and she shoved her cleaning utensil "under" my nail but there is no under. Ouch. I was also a little disappointed I didn't get to finish the Tea Time that was apart of the package because my mani/pedi ran long. It was 1pm and I had been there since 9am. My husband and I just finished with a couples message and we both feel wonderful after the whole experience. He was hesitant to go get a message because he thought he would feel silly but the staff made us feel comfortable and right at home. I have had messages in the past and no one could ever message deep enough to make a difference. Keelah was my therapist and she did an amazing deep tissue! I have been so tight and contracted on my right side for years and I felt immediate relief after my message with her. We did a morning message and grabbed coffee and breakfast at the coffee fox around the corner and were extremely impressed with the unique artsy cafe. The coffee was fantastic! spa bleu hoo hoo hoo...!!! my friend purchased the "spa day" package which included facial, mani-pedi, massage and lunch. I would meet her after the facial and we would get a massage together. Her "facials was hardly a facial. More of a collection o products off and on, off and on when she asked about extractions, she was told no extractions necessary. so what's a facial?? nice facilities. nice people. masseuses asked if we needed special attention. I could not have been more direct. " we have been on our feet 12-14 hours every day, definitely feet and legs. my friend agreed eagerly. the massage was o...k but I anxiously awaited the feet and hands part. when. I tell you besides wrapping our feet in a warm moist cloth there was NO attention paid our feet in spite of our specific requests!! i know. why didn't we ask for more I can only say in our defense that it felt as if we had asked and when it wasn't met voluntarily it felt as if they simply didn't want to. VERY disappointing. "lunch", I won't even get into. I mean quiche for a gluten free person, a few nuts, some chocolate... meh. to finish off a one HOUR manicure followed by a ONE hour pedicure because the same person did both. it wasn't as if that hour was being filled by anything spectacular. it was too much. we won't be returning. spa nooooo. read more

Super super pleased with Spa Bleu! I brought my mother-in-law for Customized Facials and mini-pedicures and the experience was exactly what I hoped for. They don't spare expense or time at this spa - I truly felt like they take pride in their job and enjoy the relaxation they provide to their customers. The products they used for our facials were top notch and they were very diligent and thoughtful with each step - nothing felt rushed or timed at all. Also, the employees are all just the sweetest people, and the facilities themselves as BEAUTIFUL! I was blown away by how pretty the waiting and lounge areas were - the time in between our services was almost like another mini-vacation itself. I was so happy that I brought my mother in law for this experience - she has not been to many spas before and she was just thrilled. Absolutely awesome experience! Elevator was aromatherapy scented - nice. My group was welcomed and then we waited. There were 3 of us, and two additional women walked in for appts. The sitting area was nice and we loved munching on chocolate before services. There was water, tea and coffee with chocolates provided - nice touch! Each therapist came out and greeted their customer and walked them away for services. I was the last person and received Ms. Keela/Kila (sp?) and she was the best massage therapist ever. She later explained she was the senior therapist and gave my group wonderful information about massages, Spa Bleu's history, and just other interesting tidbits. LOVED her! Thank you, if you're reading this! First of all, my last few massages were horrendous. I went there with no expectations because it seemed when I expected the best, I had nightmares. I went in, talked about issues I had, laid down and relaxed. I am a firm/deep tissue customer. I mentioned that and OH BOY, she found ALL my knots, and then some. She worked it out and I felt like jello afterwards. Superb technique, strength, and even the little things that were done (hot towels on the hands and feet), trigger point focus, etc. I got the package that was like a sampler of everything and included a back scrub. I was in Savannah recently for vacation and wanted a massage and manicure. I stayed at Mansion on Forsythe which has a spa, but really wanted to try a local salon. I simply "googled" spas in Savannah and came up with Spa Bleu. I had Swedish massage which was very nice, and my husband had a deep tissue massage and said it was great. I have to say my manicure was one of the best I've had - my manicurist was super sweet. I wanted a very dark polish which isn't the easiest to do, but came out perfectly for my anniversary dinner. Just had to write that I really enjoyed Spa Bleu and will be back very soon for another visit. read more

I have been trying to schedule an appointment with Spa Bleu now for over 3 weeks for my upcoming wedding and have yet to have a response. I understand they are busy but they do not answer the phone and when you leave a message it takes nearly a week for them to call you back. Went to Spa Bleu for a girls day for mani/pedis with three friends While all the technicians were very nice, the overall quality of the services was not what I expected. My nails started chipping the next day, and I had to remove the remainder of the polish on day 3. I did not get polish on my toes (my choice) but was not thrilled with the Rosemary Mint Organic Foot Ritual. On their website it states that this is a 30 minutes treatment. It was not. Well maybe it was if you add the time that the tech walked away to get the scrubs she needed. It was a very pricey addition and in my opinion for what it was done should have been included in the price of the base pedicure. For the money, we would have been better off with a small nail place and couple of really good bottles of wine. read more

Meh....if you don't mind paying $75 for a gel polish, then have at it! Pros- I was in a desperate situation so they were wonderful to get me in but, cons - what I usually pay for gel polish is $25 and spa blue charged $75 but....it's a "spa". Honestly, my $25 regular from the "Asian" nail salon is actually a much better finished product. Didn't want to complain so I reshaped my nails. They look a little better now. read more

This little space had good ambiance. I might recommend it for personal services in the future. But I would not use it for group events. Like bridal showers which they say they can accommodate on the website. Communication was difficult. I was offered services for 12 people for $800. I drove an hour to see the facility and to pay the deposit. They never answered the phone so I could schedule coming in for a tour, when I got there no one would answer the phone and none was a the front desk for a good 15 min. I was asking what types of light lunch is available and was told it was$10 plate but had no input into what they are serving ( I did get to select a beverage). 24 hour before the event I informed them that four of my people would not make it. that should have decreased my bill by about 240. So I added in some gift bags to take up the slack. When time to pay they asked for another $620... On top of the four i already paid. Keep in mind the email quote was $800/ 12 and we only had 8 with notice. When I asked how the Bill had increased that much they said they added gratuity which was not mentioned in our original communications. But even with gratuity, I don't see how it increased $300. So as you can see next time I'll be looking for a establishment's that is more forthcoming with their charges. At events I didn't get a receipt. I have emailed and called to request a detailed expense receipt because I want to know how it jumped so much. But as of yet nothing. So I'm feeling very unsure about Spa blue. read more

I called the morning of to see if there were any open spots for the morning and they got me in within the opening hour. They tried to accommodate me while in the relaxation area by offering me a coffee or champagne. My facial was great and massage was one of the best I've had. The spa was clean and calming and staff was really helpful and kind, carrying my bag of clothes from room to room. Check out was fast and easy with the email receipt option. My only complaint would be the girl at checkout who I think is named Devin didn't smile or make eye contact when helping me, but I'm definitely going back whenever I'm in town again. read more

Spent the day at Spa Bleu today with my friend. I have to say we received the best service. Everyone was super nice and ensured our comfort. We had the signature package which included the facial, massage, pedicure and manicure. I feel great all over. The cinnamon oil treatment for your head smells so good and makes your head feel amazing. The strawberry scrub for your feet helped my aching feet feel great again.
