I receive services from spa aesthetica and buy partnered products. So if they are closed I can't go to buy these products anywhere else. I can't buy Skin Better products unless I go to a new dermatologist. I would hope that when I need a refill, even if I'm not scheduled for a service they would be open during their registered business hours. It's been three times now that I've driven to Spa Asthetica mid-day and found it to be closed during business hours. I am annoyed. I am so excited to see my results from Spa Aesthetica. Dr Reichner and his team are awesome.I didn't know what to expect when I walked in I was a bit nervous however the staff was so comforting and knowledgeable about the whole process. I did have my tear ducts done in hopes to get rid of the under eye bag area and it came out phenomenal I do not need to wear under eye cover up anymore I look rested I feel great and it was such a safe environment. I felt no pain the next day just a little sore and I was told exactly what to do to treat the swelling in that area, I can't wait for my next round! I do not recommend Spa Aesthetica. During the pandemic, they have flown under the radar and remained open while other businesses closed--yeah, laser hair removal and chemical peels are just SO essential at this time! I was there for LHR at the beginning of the pandemic, and Lisa (who I've heard is a nurse and the doctor owner's wife, but not sure about that) told me all sorts of things like drinking hot liquids would prevent/kill the virus (yeah, really!). She didn't wear a mask when I saw her. Another time that I spoke with her, she downplayed the pandemic and said St. Joseph Hospital across the street isn't even full. Well, how about following the orders? Yeah, those orders that other businesses are closing for and taking a loss over. This woman might be a nurse, but she's way out of her element when it comes to COVID and should not be trying to teach clients about COVID, especially when she's giving misinformation. Gee, if hot tea prevented or killed the virus, you'd think China would have been okay with all of the tea there, right? So as for their services, the pricing is fudgy. You can talk to three people and get three different explanations and pricing. They're disorganized. Furthermore, know that whatever they tell you as far as how long they think it'll take to remove the hair with LHR, it will take several packages more. I also had issues with nurses not cranking up the setting on the LHR machine high enough. I complained at every single visit that I wasn't seeing any change. Finally, I got a new nurse who said that the previous settings were too low. Lisa came and did do a pricing adjustment. However, I still found their LHR quite ineffective. I would not recommend Spa Aesthetica whatsoever, both due to their unethical remaining open when they aren't truly an essential service and don't have a full-time doctor on staff. It's quite a stretch to say chemical peels or LHR are essential services! They also shouldn't have a nurse or anyone who is giving out misinformation about COVID and not taking the virus seriously. I see her mentioned in other reviews, too. This did not feel like a safe place to visit, and I chose not to use all of the LHR visits I paid for because of it. And frankly, it disgusts me that they've managed to fly under the radar as they have while other businesses are suffering. Shame. read more

I had treatments completed here recently, amidst the coronavirus pandemic. The office appeared clean and had certain safety measures in place, like letting in one patient at a time and offering hand sanitizer. However, I was extremely surprised that the senior nurse, Lisa, did not wear a mask the majority of the time she interacted with me. She came into the office without a mask, and when the woman working at the front offered her one, she refused. She then proceeded to examine my face without a mask and while my mask was lowered. Her face was only a few inches away and she spoke as she examined. It was extremely uncomfortable, and I wish I would have said something at the time. She did not put on a mask until she began my treatment. All other nurses and staff members I saw were wearing a mask. I am not sure why masks are not enforced for all staff members. I believe I would have likely been infected because of how close she brought her face to mine while she was speaking. I would not recommend visiting this spa if you are concerned about COVID19. read more

Unfortunately I can not longer come to Spa Aesthetica. I have come here for many years and truly love Karen and the work she does. The last time I was here they forced me to use more Botox than I have ever used before because of a new policy where you cannot bank your Botox points any longer ( they said they notified people of this in an email but I never saw one and neither did my friends who also come here) After my treatment, I still had 5 units left over and they told me that I could not use them again. These were units that I had paid for and was told would not expire when I bought them. It's just bad business. They essentially had me pay for a service and then took it away. How is this allowed? They have done this exact thing to my friends as well whom I had recommended go here. They also require a medical assistant to be in the room now who was trying to give me advice on the service I was getting. Hello, I've been doing this for years.... Don't try to talk me into a completely unnecessary service that I do not want to begin with and tell me it's going to be fine. It really saddens me to write this review; I have been here before for Botox and I absolutely loved the results. When I went in recently, my Botox was injected incorrectly. I get Botox for my TMJ and now my smile is messed up. It literally looks like I'm in pain when I smile.. The corners of my mouth also don't turn upright like they do naturally. I'll admit, I didn't go back in for an assessment of my Botox, but I was just skeptical about it in case they wanted to inject more. Now I have to wait for the effects to wear off because there is nothing you can do since my smile muscles have been affected. I've been wearing a mask at work because it literally looks horrible. The receptionist is professional, knowledgeable, sweet and RN Azita both provided Stellar Customer Service today. She educated me on Botox while applying procedure..... She was extremely gentle and diligent little to no pain. She recommended fillers (which I was already interested inquiring about). I regret giving my time and money to Spa Aesthetica. I had a consultation and decided not to go back. They're almost entirely focused on face procedures like Botox and filler, which I didn't want, and their prices are determined by the manager in a completely arbitrary way. Since then, I've been asking them to remove my identifiable information (my name, email address, phone number, and a copy of my driver's license) from their system and they've refused. It makes no sense. I've now sent them multiple emails requesting that they delete or redact my personal information and they're not complying (which is illegal under the CA Consumer Privacy Act). Why would a business want to maintain records of a patient that they'll never see again? I'm filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and I don't recommend this business to anyone. I so wish I hadn't gone in for that consultation. Update: They're not accredited with the BBB, which means they might not care about or respond to my complaint. If they don't respond, I'm filing another complaint with the CA Attorney General for violation of the CCPA. Save yourselves the headache and don't go here. read more

This spa is very clean, very calming & has a beautiful glass waterfall feature in the waiting area. Rocky did my Botox for me & she has a gentle hand & is very knowledgeable about all of the services & products offered. I arrived early to get the numbing treatment & barely felt more than a slight pinch during the treatment. I've already booked my next appointment with her & plan on creating a regimen of treatment to improve the overall look of my skin. I just turned 50 yrs old & now it's ME time! They are really professional and guide you on the steps they take while providing their services. I was just there last month for two specials they sent directly to my email. They have specials every month! I can't help taking advantage of these but I also go when I have a special event coming up and I want to look and feel extra pampered. They answer all my questions before and during the service. However, my favorite part is when at the end they give you instructions to maximize your treatment with at home care and even recommend some of their products customized to your skin. I've been going to Spa Aesthetica for roughly two years now. They offer a variety of services but I've only tried the laser hair removal and I'm a member to their monthly facial/chemical peel program. Vanessa was the best esthetician there. She has years of experience and when she works on my face, just the application of products was an experience on its own. She really had a lot of knowledge about the face and I admire her for that. I put up with the spa center customer service bc of Vanessa and now she's no longer there. Only reason why this is getting 3 stars, bc all they have left is the good products and facial technologies but no knowledgeable person to truly apply them now. I believe there's a lot of strange politics within in the office and there's always some type of changes happening. For a spa center where members pay +$100 monthly, front desk girls really need to learn to lighten up and be more professional. Membership documents are all on paper and not in a system so there's ALWAYS some type of confusion or complication considering membership renewal is every 6 months. They don't have a process where you would settle all the renewal paperwork after an appointment, while scheduling your next appointment (BEFORE the start of the next 6 month membership) No, it's always when you're coming in for your appointment that they surprise you with errors on THEIR part and waste a bunch of your appointment time. Finished my last session of laser hair removal last week. From my overall experience, I took to time to gather the experiences from the sessions. Customer service, never the less, was friendly, approachable, helpful and knowledgeable. When I first looked into laser hair removal, wasn't sure where to start and how much. After comparing the prices of a few places, I found the most affordable pricing. For 6 sessions, I paid about 279 for a small area done. (Note: pricing varies on what you want to get done, in laser hair removal, it will depend on the size of the area you want to get done) although I may need a few touch up sessions, additional sessions after the first package are discounted. Wanted to update: after the last session, they told I would need more sessions because the aestheticians were not consistant. I had originally amped the joules up, from one of them, but the very session. Apparently it was lowered all the way down to when I originally had started. Apparently there were notes written on file, but they decided that it was best to keep changing the pace and consistency. Which in overall, isn't my fault that I needed more session because they had changed the settings. The higher setting worked very well, idk how I feel about it because this is how they get you, but lowered joules ans having you come back for more. I'm not sure I need another bundle, but that's what they were only offering me and I'm pretty sure I only need one or two more sessions. I think they told me if I wanted to do one session, it would be about $100 and other places do it for $30 per session. read more

I used to have about 2 1/2 inch plugs in my ears for fashion purposes years ago and I eventually grew outta them. This is the place I came to get my ears surgically sewn back to normal. The surgeon's name was Dr. Daniel Reichner and he did a good job on my ears. I rather pay as I go because I might only need three or four. She said well, it's much cheaper if you buy the package. Single treatment for the chin is $100. How did they come up with that? It's ridiculous! They want to get customers by selling them packages but our bodies respond differently. I only needed 3 sessions for my underarms. I don't trust these people. read more

Vanessa did an amazing job of evaluating both of our skin types and recommending different add ons to enhance or skin. I was amazed that my skin was glowing for two days after the facial. I came in to the spa for an IPL on my chest. This was my first time at the recommendation of a coworker who had a great experience. They were offering a special so I decided to try it out. I booked my apt online for a few days later and was excited to give this place a try. Walking in I felt comfortable but when I was done filling out my paperwork it seemed to go down hill. The front receptionists were cold and not helpful at all. I was asked if I'd like numbing cream, which of course I would, only to find out it's an extra $25. I get photo facials every year and have never been charged extra. The same girl then took me back to a room so filled with lasers that I could barely sit and said "here's a glove, put this cream on, don't get it anywhere else." So I have to pay extra and put it on myself? The only reason this place gets a star is because joy was very friendly, knowledgeable and I'm hoping (fingers crossed) I get good results. Checking out was another disaster but I'll spare the commentary since they gave me the special price I thought I signed up for.
