As a physician myself I have pretty high standards for things like bedside manner and clinical acumen, and I am very satisfied with Sand Dermatology and in particular, my provider Dr. Saleh! I came here to get some scars and keloids looked at, and I had a super smooth experience. The office staff were very polite and kind, and I was seen on time without issue. Dr. Saleh is very knowledgeable, very much living up the stereotype that dermatologists tend to be the top of their medical school classes he did a punch biopsy and injected some steroids, and years later I have minimal recurrence of my scarring and keloids. 5 stars to Sand Derm, this place is LEGIT. These aren't fake stars. They really are a fantastic establishment and I have to say Dr. Lauren Duffy is my personal fav. She is attentive, I never feel rushed, she has a great eye for those detail spots that i get worried about like cancerous moles! For some reason her chemical peels work better on my face just because she has the magic touch! Lol! I get more compliments on my skin than I ever have! I went here for the 1st time a couple weeks ago, they got me In within a few days which impressed me. The office is super clean and they even have chargers but not that you need them because they are extremely time efficient. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes with both my visits. I went back the following week to get a mark on my leg removed for a biopsy, I was extremely scared because I'm not a fan of syringes but Dr. Saleh was extremely patient and gentle. WOWWOWOWOWOWOW I wish I would have done this sooner. I highly recommend! I came in due to concerns with a mole and also skin tags. After my consult, NP Sarah reported that if I was interested in removal and it would waive my consult fee. It took about 5-10min all together for her to remove everything! I am shocked with how quick I was in and out. The wait was barely anything and the office was so clean and welcoming. If you're debating on coming in, don't over think it and just do it. Starting off, the front desk ladies have been welcoming and create a great environment immediately when you walk in. In regards to my appointments, I had Nurse Practitioner Sarah Hurd and medical assistant Shanelle help me on a procedure I needed to get done. Both women made sure I was comfortable, and took well care of me- especially after admitting I was getting queasy mid procedure. Sarah Hurd was laughing at me to the assistant without telling me why, rude interrupting my talking a lot to mumble something to the assistant, said I don't have yeast then perscribed a yeast Rx Nystatin, I asked for recommendations for vitamins for my skin I might be lacking no response, said my ingrown hair isnt a problem if the pain isn't radiating, we checked it is and she ignored that. Does minimal work, laughs at you, assumes ALOT, and no information about the multiple red dots on top of my feet what to do about them... Barely scraped out the reason why they occurred. read more

The doctor is experienced but he spend little time seeing my daughter. We wait for 2 months for the appointment and he only stay in the room about 5 minutes. He look at the skin and said we should use antibiotic medicine and see him in a month. Thats it. Also the medicine dose he gave to child is too high so the pharmacy didnt give me the medicine but instead they call the doctor to reduce the strong dose. I went twice for the medicine. read more

First visit. Called and met them at this Anaheim site. The appointment was easy to book. Arrived and quickly got checked in and once my patient profile was set up got called back and met with a kind nurse who asked my issues. Doctor came in a couple of minutes later and was a young outgoing professional. He addressed the primary issue I had and asked if I had any others, I did and he also addressed it right away. He is the best dermatologist that I have found for my son and for me. He has dedication and excellent care with his patients. I'm updating my previous review from 2 stars to 5 stars for the location in Orange because they were great about resolving the billing issue within a few days. They took full responsibility and clarified that I should have only paid the co-pay. My previous notes on the cleanliness and modernity of the facility still stands because it's great and the staff is adequately friendly. I would say if you aren't sure about what you'll be charged, or if you're confused, just continue to ask questions or ask to speak to a manager until you're satisfied with your understanding. I think they honestly want to do right by people, so I don't think you'll have any issues there. read more
