I went to Vivella in 2022 to get a chemical peel as I had bad acne and acne scars. I went in for a consultation and got talked into getting a dermabrasion facial and was told I'd probably need 10 to clear up my skin. I was told as well that my skin would get worst but slowly get better as I had facials. Well it definitely got worst after the first one. Vivella has a cancellation policy where you need to cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment. That being said, for my second facial they e-mailed me I believe a day or two before my next appointment to confirm. They then emailed me the night before my appointment to cancel. I didn't see it till the next morning and came to my appointment anyways and waited outside for maybe half an hour before I checked my email. The following time Mary who did my one facial and consolations came late and talked me out of getting a facial. Once again my skin was pretty bad and said I didn't need it. I honestly think she just didn't want to do it. I ended up never coming back and ended up going on acutane, against her advice, and my skin has never looked better (with some scaring still but no acne or redness). Vivella has been very unprofessional in how they handle their clients by forgetting about them and emailing last minute when their clients have to pay a fee to cancel their appointments in advance. Service wise I couldn't really say because I never completed my treatments but unprofessional in how they conduct their business. read more

I am only going to speak in regards to the Velashape III treatment for cellulite. My experience was this treatment was very negative. It is very important to note that this treatment is not effective for everyone. You may be a "non-responder" like I was. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that this was a possibility until mid-treatment. My personal was ineffective, and it was definitely not worth the price of $2,025 that I paid. Consultation The consultant told me I was a perfectly ideal candidate. I am 25, work out 5x a week, eat a plant based diet, don't drink, and drink ample amounts of water. My cellulite on my legs is not severe, but it is stubborn. I was told that because I was ideal and my treatment should be super effective. I was told that I could do it every other week or weekly. The consultant also mentioned that the treatment should last at least a year for me or longer since I have such a healthy lifestyle. She stated that I should see a 40% MINIMUM improvement. She didn't mention that it would be less or that I could not respond at all until later. I found out later that the FDA states that this treatment will reduce cellulite by 15-30% temporarily. The total cost for my treatment would be $2,225 for six sessions. Since we bought the package that day, they took $200 off the cost. Sessions The treatment is not unbearable. It feels just very warm, but the practitioner makes sure you aren't burned. As my sessions went by, there was only about one percent improvement. I have asked my family members and they don't see any drastic differences. I then expressed my concern to the staff and this is when I started to receive contradicting information, like the treatment would only last a few months and then I'd have to do maintenance treatments every 1-3 months at $400 per treatment. This raised some major red flags. Then the practitioner said to me, "Improvement is subjective". Unfortunately, I don't think so since photos are showing no improvement. By my third treatment, I saw no improvement. When I contacted Vivella Med Spa about it, they send me an email stating realistically I should only expect a 15 -30% improvement. This was so upsetting to read since I was not told this in the beginning. I would have never paid the amount that I did for a 15% improvement. That is ridiculous. Not only that, but I was told that the treatments' results would show until 1 - 2 months later, but this wasn't mentioned in the beginning. It seemed like the treatments should have been effective. So if you add one month to the two months of improvement, you are better offer working out and improving your body that way. A lot can be achieved in three months. I saw no improvement with this treatment. Refund Process Vivella Med Spa offered to refund half the money. It has been a difficult process for the refund. First, they told me I'd have to wait three weeks for Mary to be back because she's the only one that can do the refund. When I emailed them in three weeks reminding them, they told me to wait a few days. I emailed again in a few days and they are asked me to come in to sign paperwork. I live 45 minutes away and don't have time to spend three hours going in to sign paperwork. This was very frustrating since every time I contacted them, there was some sort of delay. Overall The Velashape treatment is not worth the high price tag. Even if you are a responder, it will only temporarily get reduce your cellulite for a few months. I have stopped treatments because they were ineffective and I was misinformed by the staff. If you are concerned about cellulite - get a personal trainer, get spray tans, and eat healthier and you will see results. I came here because I hurt myself weight lifting and was getting my cellulite back. The price tag is not worth what the treatment does. I've been going to Vivella Med Spa for the last 6 months to visit Sloane, Mary, and April, and I'm so glad I found this place! It's located in a big shopping center and there's plenty of parking. The spa itself is very clean and bright. Everyone at this location is very helpful and honest. They offer lots of treatments and don't push you to get anything you're not sure of, but they will definitely explain each process and product if you have any questions. They always have specials going on or little parties to promote different products. Ask them and see what their current special is. As I'm getting older, I need a little help aging more gracefully -- currently I'm getting dermalinfusions and I've noticed such an improvement in my acne and skin texture. This is a very cute and well run med spa. Mary and Summer are both kind and knowledgeable, which put me at ease since this was my first experience with laser treatments. I've now had three laser rejuvenation treatments along with two laser vein treatments and I am really happy with the results from both. I'm most excited that my shallow ice pick scars have been significantly reduced and I have a more refreshed appearance. It takes time to see full results as the laser is working beneath the surface layer of the skin to stimulate collagen, but it's definitely worth your patience. Vivella Med Spa is AMAZING and Mary is professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. I brought in my 14 year old son last June due to severe acne. We tried a year of proactive and cetaphil which just did not work. If possible, I did not want him to take oral medications for his acne so I decided to take him here. He started a rigorous skin treatment program with ZO products. It was easy enough for him to follow the regimen and in 3 weeks I could not believe the difference. After 2 months, his acne was virtually gone. He continues with the regimen and is so much more confident and happy. His next step will be to do a type of dermabrasion to decrease the acne scars that he has. Do not hesitate to come here!! I know many teenagers go through this acne stage. They do not have to suffer. I myself also went through ZO products to help lighten up some age spots. It did take about 3 weeks to start working, but after 2 months many of the age spots have nearly disappeared. I am very happy with the treatment. If you're thinking about this, do it now since there is quite a bit of skin peeling, which you can somewhat hide underneath the masks we are all wearing.
