I was absolutely blown away at the poor attitude and service of Max (who said he was the manager)!…read moreI called from our company where I am a manager to report one of their drivers who was speeding excessively in our community. I explained we have a posted 10 mph speed limit throughout, as well as children and pets present, and his driving was unsafe. I was simply calling to request that the management speak to the driver to request they be more aware of their surroundings, and drive more safely. I had even taken a picture of the car with the plate number so he could look up who it was in the taxi log. Max's response to me? "Ma'am, we have 10 drivers, so there's no way I could know who he is. I'm sure he wasn't driving too fast. I really don't care about your picture or what you think happened." This is UNACCEPTABLE customer service, especially when the safety of others is at risk. I was very kind and respectful in my request, and when I mentioned reporting to the authorities and BBB, he simply told me to "go ahead". Surely you people aren't that low.

They left me stranded on my wedding night…read more After I ordered a service to drive me home on my wedding night, they called and confirmed what I wanted, charged my card, and gave me a receipt and confirmation number. No vehicle ever showed up. I received no driver information. I called three times and left messages, but at that point, it was outside company hours. I had to have one of my wedding guests COME BACK to take me and my new spouse home. I'm really, really curious to see how they intend to make up leaving my stranded on my wedding night.

I saw them every weekend for 13 weeks and although I'm not flying down to LUK every weekend, I miss them! I've never met a group of people that cared that much about a student. I was able to call down at any time with questions that I had. I enjoyed my conversations with Dave, Sharon, Marty, and Onie every weekend. But about the class: It was well structured. Any questions I had were always answered. Their ADX test prep is amazing. I studied their guide for a few days and didn't have any issues. I knew the answer to the questions before I was done reading the question. As for my FAA checkride, I had no issues at all. Flamingo Air academy prepared me to the point where I had no doubts I'd be walking out with my Dispatcher Certificate. Thanks Flamingo Air!

I was this-many-days old when I learned about the Anderson Ferry, a historic ferry that connects…read moreNorthern Kentucky to Ohio, just a few minutes from where I grew up. And you think you know a place, right? Anyway, I was enamored by this small ferry, which my family and I took today to get to a restaurant on the other side of the river. We pulled up and waited for the ferry to make its way across to us, and during that time, I looked up the Anderson Ferry's site to learn about its history. Did you know: * The ferry is more than 200 years old. * The first ferry was made of wood, and the paddlewheels turned as horses walked along a treadmill. * It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. * Depending on where you need to go, this ferry can be a good way to bypass traffic on the interstate. * It was once an important way for farmers to take their goods to market. There are no horses involved in the ferry nowadays. We were efficiently loaded in our cars onto the ferry, which can contain more cars that you would think. A ferry employee then went car to car for the $5 fee. You can also pay 50 cents if you want to ride along and traverse the river on foot or $1 to cross with a bike. The ferry is cash only. It took about five minutes or so to make it across, and disembarkment was also quick. It's clear that this ferry is a meaningful and important part of Northern Kentucky, which I'm happy that I now know about.
