Really sweet spot..Linda was my point person..a bit archaic in the payment dept but ALL GOOD..had to send a check or money order in advance We arrived close to midnight and they had a note posted on their office door for us as to which site we should be parked in (17)...mind you..this was our 1st RV trip and our 1st nite getting used to pluggin in...we took showers (clean) in the am..sat at their cute yellow picnic table and had our morning coffee...I wasn't CRAZY about the cats..but...whatever..over all..great experience read more

WORST EMPLOYEES EVER!!!! ZERO STARS!!! let me start off by saying, the park itself is nice. the lake is nice, the spots are nice. they dont have a dog park which majorly sucks, and theyre overflow parking is a joke, 4 spots. but other than that the park is fine. However, the employees are the rudest, pushiest, most argumentative people i have ever met at a campground. and it starts right from check in and never stops. theres one guy (we call him Rambo because he walks around with a gun acting like hes a tough ass) who insists on "helping" you back your camper into your spot, like we havent been doing this for 10years... and he screams at you and gets an attitude if you dont do EXACTLY what he says. ITS NOT NECESSARY RAMBO ! Get over yourself and leave the people to do their own parking. and second!! and this is a BIG ONE, we witnessed and recorded the 2 male employees literally tackling and wrestling a camper to the ground and holding him down, smashing his face in the rocks... all because he came to pick up a little cargo trailer after check out time, and apparently owed them more money. THERE IS NO GOOD REASON TO TACKLE YOUR GUESTS TO THE GROUND, EVERRRRR!!!!!!! and both the employees had weapons, Rambo with his gun, and Crocodile DunDee (as we called him) with his huge knife on his hip. (they didnt use the weapons at all, but still had them on their hips, completely unnecessary) cops came for hours after the incident and the camper is pressing charges against them. and that was just one situation that happened while we there. They called our buddy who staying there at the same time , screaming at him that they were having a tow truck sent out immediately to tow his camper out of there because he was a day late on rent. So he rushed home from work in the middle of the day to go to the office and handle it, only to find out that his rent wasn't due for another 4 days!!! and you think he got even a hint of an apology from anyone, NO! DO NOT STAY HERE, do not give these people your money!!! which by the way is only cash because they dont accept cards, and they make you pay everything up front with No Refunds, absolutely no exceptions. These owners/workers are crooks, theyre bullies, theyre rash and pushy and unapologetic. you couldnt pay me enough money to stay here again. ever. go somewhere else , anywhere else. especially if you work on the road, they seem to have a major problem with workers, like us. absolute trash, they should be embarrassed. read more

I would not recommend this place. I moved out and didn't get my Amazon shipping address change before my subscription shipped out. They called me and left a Voicemail mail on a Saturday saying if I did come get my package... it was going in the trash on Monday. Super rude people. If you have no other option then I would stay as short of a time as necessary before going to your next stop. Tiny lots with almost no parking. Rude owners that care about nothing other than making as much as they can without doing anything more than they absolutely have to. I would rather park at a Walmart parking lot for the weekend than to give them a single dollar going forward. The customer is just a nuisance between them and their paycheck. The campground is Okay, but the noise from the highway is unbearable. The guy that works there told my wife we had a water leak so I checked the connections and I thought I had taken care of the problem. A couple of days later they turned off our water and never told us why. It turns out we had a leak in the pit, I didn't know that was where the leak was. They should have told us or left us a note before they turned off the water. They can't do anything about the noise but they could give better service. read more

A small, friendly campground. We stayed here for 2 nights and loved it. The sites a large and as we had a back in we had the view of the lake. You can fish in the lake or take a paddle boat out and just relax. Small play area for children. Sites are very level and that's a real plus. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely come back to this campground. read more

Our 2nd stay here and not as pleasant as the first. I was quoted a rate on the phone that included a Good Sam discount so I made a reservation for the next day. When we arrived late afternoon the next day, they charged the full rate and didn't give me the discount even after I showed them my GS card! They advertise and tell you on the phone that they give the discount so I'm following up with GS about that. It was too late for us to find another overnight stop so I paid the full rate. I think that's what they're counting on if you get there late. As a self described mom and pop operation, they appear to make the rules on the fly. Some people get the 10% Good Sam discount, and others like us don't, and I don't know what criteria they used to determine that. We won't be stopping here again. read more

Nice campgrounds for a few nights stay and they are close to b the Creation Museum. They are close to the interstate but we didn't hear any noise from it. Lot of the sites that were on the pond were permanent spots. All in all a good campground. We stayed in a motorhome. read more

First there is 2 state line roads - make sure you head to Greenmount near Indiana border or you will get very lost like we did and Enterprise car rental 30 mins away there is another state line road. Laundry is expensive with small washing machines $2 Internet is terrible -the lectured us they we should not need to use wifi for work! Our first RV campgrounds after buying our new travel trailer. Not a bad first choice. We selected it first and foremost for it's proximity to the Creation Museum that we we going to visit the next day. Over all has all the basics with full hook up sites. Sites along the water are definitely the best sites. All the others are basically a gravel pad with a tiny strip of grass in between sites. Very little shade along the water with no shade at the other sites. Playground was ok with a couple of small swings, a small slide and a teeter-totter. The teeter-totter was the only thing that held the kids attention mush since they never really played on one before. The little ones liked playing in the plastic house and climbing the stairs to the slide though. The dock and house boat shown in the pictures on their web page is posted private so that was a little deceiving They also claimed they couldn't get to the paddle boats because they had gotten so much rain it was "flooded." I walked around to look the second night and by flooded, they meant you'd have to get your feet wet to get to a paddle boat. Was very disappointed by that, we thought it would have been the best part of the campground. Looked like is was an excuse to not get a paddle boat out for us. Probably would have gotten 4 stars if they had. read more

Stopped by to have my propane tank filled, thinking it would be cheaper than exchanging. Not the case! I called the lady on the price ($22) and said I thought filling was cheaper. Conveniently located near perfect north. We stopped in for a few days to go skiing. Place is very clean and well kept. Only negative is the pull throughs are a little narrow. Our camper is 43 feet so couldn't swing out wide enough to keep from hitting the railroad ties. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay read more

Traveling in a 38 foot coach we stayed 4 nights in a site for big rigs. If you plan to visit Cincinnati during winter there really isn't any place closer than Indian Springs Campground. If you're looking for the convenience of staying close to the city, then this is your place. The sites here are roomy with a grassy area between each. Our site was right across from the office (in the center). We had a level gravel site that was long enough for our Coach and TOAD. The office gal was super nice and friendly. Almost of the park is filled with long term tenants, they were quiet and clean. There is a highway right next to the park but at night the traffic wasn't an issue. Our satellite worked great here. If you're looking for a quiet and clean park where you can sit outside and relax... go here. We enjoyed our stay, and would go back. read more

Pros: 1. Friendly staff 2. Clean bathhouse Cons: 1. Very tight campsites 2. No shade trees 3. Noisy traffic from interstate 4. Industrial park was the view from one end of the pond 5. A lot of unsightly junk around (Referring to broken down equipment. There were several campers that appeared to be abandoned. The house boat that sits at the edge was in obvious disuse and crammed full of stuff like a hoarder house, as well as some out of commission paddle boats, and scrap metal, etc. on one side of the pond. It really brought on the feeling of walking through a salvage yard.) I take an annual camping trip somewhere with each grandchild. I found this campground to be about a one star in quality. The campsites were extremely narrow and there were no shade trees unless you were a long-term/permanent RVer. There was only a very small swatch of grass just big enough for the picnic table. I really felt like I was parked on a gravel parking lot with a small rectangular pond in the middle. I don't have a monster size RV. I have a small 20' camper van and it was so tight I could not extend my awning fully. We could touch the neighbor's RV with a little stretch while sitting at our picnic table. I recently stayed two nights with my eight-year-old grandson. We came to the area to visit the Creation Museum and the National US Air Force Museum. It is about 20 minutes from the Creation Museum. It is true there is a small playground and the rectangular pond with a walking trail on one of four sides, if you hike completely around you are really hiking on the gravel road where the permanent (lake side) RVs park. I gave it the second star due to the bathroom cleanliness and friendly staff otherwise it would have received only one. Would I stay here again? Absolutely not! It met our need of a place to park with my own lack of foresight about making advance reservations on a holiday weekend. I have stayed at numerous campgrounds and if all other options were not booked this is one I would have driven into and turned around and driven back out. While in the greater Cincinnati area we stayed at two other campgrounds exceedingly better. It may be an acceptable place for a semi-permanent location while working. Thumbs down if you are a vacationer looking for a NICE campground with the usual amenities of trees, grass, no view of industrial civilization from your campsite, no view of salvage junk. read more

Great place for a work related stay! My husband and I travel for work, and really enjoyed our 3 month stay at Indian Springs. The bath house and property is extremely well kept, and the owners were very nice people. The campground has a very pretty pond full of ducks, with a walking trail around it... you can also paddle boat, and fish. ...They have a play ground as well if you have kids. I really appreciated the free gym (which was surprisingly well equipped). I liked the convenience of the location... it was tucked away, but a quick trip to anything you might need. The office has a laundry facility with very new appliances, a small camper essential store, and also a barbershop. I noticed some people did not like the gravel, but i thought it was nice not having to worry about mud when it rains... most sites do have grass as well. The best spots are obviously right next to the pond. As far as entertainment in the area there are multiple casinos, restaurants, museums, and great shopping near by. I would highly recommend to anyone who is traveling for work... Indian springs is inexpensive, has experienced friendly owners, and the area is a nice place to call home for a while. If we are ever back in North Bend area we will definitely stay here again. read more

We came to the area to visit the Creation Museum, and decided to camp instead of going to a hotel. This was a great choice. It was easy to make the reservation, the campground is easy to find, and only a simple short drive to the museum. The campground is owned by very nice people that live onsite. The bathhouse/bathroom is very clean but small, which is the only negative thing I can say. Would recommend this campground to anyone. read more
