The campground is nice but letting very young children drive golf carts is a hazard and very dangerous. These kids were 9-12 years old with the cart loaded with younger children. The rules say must have a license but the manager allows her young children to drive a golf cart as well. read more

The check-in process was painless and efficient and the park is clean and well-kept. The river is spectacular.

The manger staff cortney is great always trying to please everone ever one here is so friendly,,,, and wait until you meet the camper host./ DJ. Bill Brabant what a fantastic guy. The RV lots are a little close together, but it was doable. They had trees for shade, almost couldn't roll out our awning. With some strategic parking we prevailed though. They had a lower camping area about a mile away from the entrance, more toward the Ohio River. We stayed at the upper camping area, it was near a small pond that you could do catch and release fishing from without a license. Be careful though, it's slippery, I ended up taking my mom to the emergency room for a ankle fracture and dislocation. Thankfully she was just visiting and we don't live far. They also have a new, very large pool, it goes to 12'. There is a nice concession stand on site. read more

Camp ground is located in a nice community. The campground would have special events throughout the summer months for campers with families. Enjoyed my time there while I worked out of the area. Probably the roomiest campground I've stayed in for my line of work. Would be if there was more shade during the summer time for the campers but overall I was satisfied with my stay. We recently stayed here through the winter. Not many places are open year round. This one is. Your electric and water are included in your monthly price. They get very festive with their decorations during Christmas. The front store is cute and quaint. The staff was pleasant but not on top of things. My husband told them about an electric problem 5 or 6 times. We were there for three months and the problem was never fixed. Our other problems are the pot holes and MUD. The dirt roads and RV spots need to be gravel or paved. It would also help to put in drains. We saw them grate the roadways once while we were there which seemed to help for a day. When it rains however the problem is bad. MUD hole after MUD hole which will freeze into muddy ice rinks. I was very irritated with getting my shoes muddy getting in my car to go to work. Our little yard was so squishy. They are located in a country almost rural location. The biggest town close to them is Aurora, Indiana. read more

This place advertised miniature golf on their website. We called to make sure we could still play it during COVID and the office said yes. When we got there and inquired about it, the office was confused bc they don't have a miniature golf place for 2 yrs now. It's still on their website and their map. My husband and I stayed here while working in the area for two months. This is a super busy place but Joy and Tammy were able to always accommodate us in a site. We stayed in the lower campground by the river and enjoyed immensely. We highly recommend staying here; there are numerous activities to do within the campground and surrounding area. read more

We stayed here for a quick last minute camping trip in late July after hearing good things from friends who had stayed there in years past. I think this was probably a really nice campground at one time but it is now in need of repair. The spot we had was so narrow that we could not extend our awning. The pool desperately needed a good scrubbing. The bath houses were pretty gross. The putt putt (which they charged you for) was completely falling apart. I would love to see them make some improvements on this place because it really could be nice but there are just too many places within the same driving distance for us that are cleaner and nicer for us to be in a big hurry to go back. read more

This place seemed like it had potential at some point a long time ago, but it is run down and the facilities were always filthy. I will add some pictures, if I can, but I will spare you the toilet pics that show every single toilet "blown up". There were rat droppings in the bathroom, giant hair balls and trash in the showers. Things stay that way for days or weeks! Staff was unhelpful and unconcerned and it did not improve even after multiple complaints. There were also several weeks where the bathroom had no hot water, we asked specifically to be close to a good bathroom and these were falling apart full of rat poop and no hot water in the winter is ridiculous. They also over wifi, why? It never worked and they didn't bother fixing it when you called. read more

Spent a few months here from May until November. This place was awesome. It is in a quiet area near some fields but it's gorgeous. There's an arcade, pool, fishing (catch and release) and dancing with games on Saturday's for kids. Joy and Tammy are super kind and accommodating. The store does close early at 5pm during the season. There are food items in the store and lots of candy. My kids loved the arcade and playroom. There's a television with cable that we would use on occasion. We arranged a family night in the room and watched a movie after hours. The doors locked when we left. Some people expect to be catered to as if there at a fancy hotel. It's RV LIFE! This place was awesome and if we hadn't sold our rv we'd definitely come back. It's super close to the creation museum. It use to flood apparently by the photos. But they have sense put gravel down. They can't stop the elements, and expecting them to is a tad narcissistic. God bless you! read more

The campground seems to be well maintained and good service from the staff. The pool was too warm for my liking, it was very hot and humid outside and the pool temperature was not low enough to be completely refreshing from the heat (it was like bathwater), admittedly so by the guy who maintains the pool). The one complaint is people lean over the fence to save lounge chairs by placing towels on them before it opens (one guy every day saved the same seven chairs); not fair for those who come at opening and the chairs are already taken. The camp sites could use more shade trees but other than that, I would come back again. read more

After repeated visits, verbal and written assurances, the spot I picked out was given away without notice. Poor communication (if you want to call no communication poor) and when I tried to discuss my displeasure, the girl was extremely rude. Do NOT stay here. We are from out of state and stayed here for a three night stay. We were supposed to have a "prime" site. When we go look at our site someone is there. Go to the office they don't even know someone is on that site(don't ask me how). So they move us to an uneven site. The huge olympic size pool is "closed" for at least two days and no one has bothered to tell us but the construction guys. The mini golf no longer exists. The bathrooms are old and in need of repair and we're not cleaned the entire time we were there (disgusting!) People let their dogs poop wherever and no one cares. The pool hall area is only open until 6pm the office is only open until 6pm. Honestly this is the worst campground we have stayed at which is unfortunate because it has a lot of potential. So no I do not recommended this R.V. park. read more

It is a very nice campground, but what makes it a great campground are the people working there . I was trying to make a recipe & needed onion powder & the lady working in the office called her husband to deliver it. I'm not kidding. They were so nice & helpful in the office. The young man working in there also helped us get to the main highway as our GPS kept sending us down small roads. Being in an RV, this is not a good thing. This is a great campground! You have the option of camping up top by the lake and pool or down by the river. We actually do both, but our favorite is down by the river! There is always something to do here (fishing, swimming, lots of activities for the kids and families offered, music under the shelter in the evenings, snack bar, camp store, "train" rides for the kids, friendly staff, good people and good company always by your camper neighbors). We camp here several times a year and usually rent 3-4 sites together with our friends. We have our own golf cart but you can also rent one for your camping stay. Little Farm on the River is a great place to bring your families and friends to camp! read more

We got stuck in the mud due to poor lighting, had to trek through mud will four young kids to cabin which didn't have it's outside light on. The lighting was so bad it was hard to see the ground in front of us to avoid puddles. We couldn't find an emergency number and had to use Facebook to get help with our van. Loft beds were not made, bottled hand soap looked curdled. We ate and my hubby showered off the mud. The water went ice cold half way through his shower. Then I pulled back the bed covers and found a bed bug on the pillow. I even googled with my cell to verify its identity. We rushed and packed up and left. Our shoes on the screened off balcony were drenched even more. We left just after 11am and had to find a new place. Owners wouldn't refund us any of our money. The lady who return our call didn't believe there were bed bugs even though I told her I had photographed it. She said they couldn't be apple seed size and because they hadn't had visitors in a while there couldn't be bed bugs. A quick google search shows that they are indeed apple seed size and can live for a year without feeding. We are out $128.99 which is huge for us and that doesn't include the hotel room we had to also pay for. Stay away from cabin 93. I sure hope we didn't bring the bugs home! read more
