This campground was such a hidden gem…read more We got there about 9P and the lady that manages the pool actually offered to open up the pool and turn on the water for the slides (which were amazing) for our boys! This was the highlight of their week! Tim was helpful too since this was our first time renting an RV. Such a wonderful evening! We will be back!!!

Who knew it was (the first!) site of vertebrate paleontology in the US? Interestingly, there is also a short hike through a wooded area (5-10 min) that takes you to a mini-zoo-like viewing area for a herd of Bison kept there. They were pretty lethargic on this hot summer day but cute nonetheless. It's at least worth one short visit here -- a worthy investment of ~35 mins from downtown Cincinnati, anyway.

The owners can be very direct and rude at times not to mention they dont follow the rules about going the wrong direction on the roads but will jump your ass if you do.

No attention to lawn detail...overgrown and needs to be trimmed. But that's not the worst...there were two pre-teen boys playing around the playground...and around our lot. Right after dark, a pre-teen boy came up to our camper, slammed our entry assist handle and locked it over...locking us in the camper. Fortunately, my wife was in the bath-house. It scared my young daughters. They later came again, knocking on the side of the camper and taunting us. There were no other kids around...I then saw them go into the manager's house.... It was dirty, unsafe, and a pleasure to leave...just gross.

A crazy staff member will roll up to you on a golf cart and call you a liar even though you have never seen him before. Then when you try and ask what hes talking about he drives away. Their online portal to buy tickets is way more difficult than it needs to be. It would be way better if they just weren't there and the way we paid could be a donation box sitting on a post.
