It's actually slightly hidden/blended in with a greenway that provides some space between the street, so you don't feel like your just on a sidewalk. It's kind of the border of Northside to the Mill Creek. I would suggest visiting if your in the area especially at the nearby baseball diamonds. It's about two miles around. You can circle back on the trial using the sidewalk on the opposite side of the baseball diamond. Several bench rest stops along the trail.

It's a paved path through Salway Park and on to Northside. I didn't walk the whole thing, but overall, it's a nice paved path with landscaping the hugs Mill Creek-it's a nice asset for outdoor rec in the area. Fun fact: there's a fun wildlife viewing area about 30 yards east of the parking lot-turtles, ducks, water fowl.

And you think you know a place, right? Anyway, I was enamored by this small ferry, which my family and I took today to get to a restaurant on the other side of the river. We pulled up and waited for the ferry to make its way across to us, and during that time, I looked up the Anderson Ferry's site to learn about its history. Did you know: * The ferry is more than 200 years old. * The first ferry was made of wood, and the paddlewheels turned as horses walked along a treadmill. * It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. * Depending on where you need to go, this ferry can be a good way to bypass traffic on the interstate. * It was once an important way for farmers to take their goods to market. There are no horses involved in the ferry nowadays. We were efficiently loaded in our cars onto the ferry, which can contain more cars that you would think. A ferry employee then went car to car for the $5 fee. You can also pay 50 cents if you want to ride along and traverse the river on foot or $1 to cross with a bike. The ferry is cash only. It took about five minutes or so to make it across, and disembarkment was also quick. It's clear that this ferry is a meaningful and important part of Northern Kentucky, which I'm happy that I now know about.

This spot came in handy and served the purpose for an emergency trip to the area to attend a visitation and funeral. There are several other campgrounds in the area, but this one is open all year and has full hook ups... even sewer. We did have an issue with the electric... there wasn't a breaker on the box to reset. Luckily, we had extra extension cord and took over the electric from the spot beside of us. This was unlike any campground I've ever been to. It was more of a trailer park. Most of the people were actually living on site in campers and trailers. I felt a bit out of place, but it served it's purpose. There is a restaurant on site with a buffet Friday-Sunday. I can't comment on it though, but I would've tried it on a normal camping trip. There's also a pool, but it didn't look functionable. The pond was apparently stocked with fish and you're allowed to fish even if you don't have a fishing license. Overall it served it's purpose for us, as a spot to stay for a few days. Although it was the most inexpensive nightly rate that I've ever paid, it's not a spot that I'd revisit.

The tour guide/ driver was so knowledgeable and I could have listened to him for hours. If you are interested in art, this is an absolute must do. Whether you are a Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky resident, a newcomer or visitor, you must do this tour. There are also walking mural tours and Pedal Wagon food and drink options, either way, I highly recommend doing a Pedal Wagon. One minor issue, they say the Wagon holds 16 but one of the seats is a cooler and one of the seats is a bench that is supposed to seat three but was not very comfortable for our group of senior ladies. We would have been more comfortable if it was only 14. So as a word of caution unless your group is really young and/or thin, don't do 15-16 passengers.

But we were looking more on tour of Cincinnati- We booked a tour to learn more about the history & go to vary of different things normal people whose is not from the city would enjoy. Well we spent money just to go to two bars and to ride on a pedal bike. To be honest we would have done that ourselves. So didn't feel like we got our money worth. We actually spent more money than we wanted to because we were trying to at least keep ourselves entertained by going to the two bars she took us to. Which was not in our budget plan for this specific event. So we told them to just leave us at the friendly market and they went on their way at the end of trip. So overall, if your looking for a tour of Cincinnati I wouldn't recommend booking this but if your looking just to ride the Pedal Wagon for a couple of hours and party a little then highly recommended it.

One birthday many years ago, my wife thought it would be cool to take a tour of local breweries…read more Somehow though the power of the internet, we found Cincy Brew Bus, an experiment of sorts - which we found was just starting out. I honestly remember being told it was one of the first couple tours they did. So here we are, on a used yellow school bus with a bunch of strangers having no idea what to expect and honestly expectations were becoming cloudy, but we were up for a good time no matter what. What became crystal clear rather quickly was the owner knew a lot about the brewery history of the area, appreciated it, and was on fire for the quest for great beer. Damn if that doesn't sound like a cause I can get behind! Right after the first stop of drinks, a tour and chat with a brewer with some Q&A, we all didn't seem like strangers anymore. There was so much interaction between us all during the stop, all barriers were gone. Just a bunch of folks who had that same fire, a love of great beer. Flash forward to today, obviously the school bus got retired and Cincy Brew Bus has established themselves as the premiere brewery tour company in the greater Cincy area. We've taken several tours over the years from them during various stages of growth, and no matter what ends up being different... one thing remains constant. The fire for great beer, the transfer of it's rich history -it's effect on the area, and how it all comes together in the brewing process remains the solid focus for Mike and his team. We are still friends with many of those we've taken these tours with. If you're looking for something great to do in the area, this should be high on your list. Honestly, you're missing out if you don't.

Snacks, coffee & games in the loft area to take advantage of. Comfortable beds, very clean bathroom and such a serene setting. The breakfast in the morning was restaurant worthy. From the fresh waffles to the fresh squeeze juice. Bravo to the owners for a wonderful escape! We would love to come back in the spring to take advantage of enjoying the absolutely beautiful landscape.
