We were on a direct flight from Omaha to Washington DC and we had the best flight crew! One lovely blonde Stewardess from Georgia, and a funny pretty stewardess by the name of Belinda! Belinda made my hubbies day by giving him extra Remy's Graham crackers. Everyone was so joyful and though the flight was a bit bumpy it was an excellent experience. Love the new system that SW has. I didn't think we would but it keeps all the "handicap" wannabes from lining up now. FYI my hubby actually needs a wheelchair! Thank you!

DCA to HOU. Or...... You can't control the weather, but you can take control of getting your cancelled flight rescheduled. On the way to DCA, got a message that our flight was cancelled. Instead of out on Sunday at 6:45 PM, now out on Monday at 6:55 AM. No thank you! Got on the phone with an agent, can you drive to Baltimore instead??? There is a 6:15 PM. Good that we did not take a Lyft there. That one got cancelled, too. Reached DCA airport, spoke to an agent who changed us from DCA to HOU to a new itinerary. DCA to St. Louis to Pensacola to Houston. Anything else, we asked?? No, this is it. Noticed that the connection was a tight one, so called again (the agent on the phone said that we had plenty of time to make a 5:15 PM flight in St. Louis even though we had not left DCA yet at 5:30 PM). Then waited in line at the airport as we knew that we would miss our connection and they changed our flights from St. Louis to Pensacola to Houston to Monday at 5 PM while I was talking to them on the phone. Back to the gate agent. This time from DCA to Nashville to Houston. Better because again, just one stop, but now due to more flight delays, we would also miss that connection. Walking through the terminal noticed that the 12:45 PM DCA to HOU flight still had not departed and they also had Oreos. Definitely needed a snack. The gate agent said that they were just waiting on a pilot and crew since they had timed out. Plus they still had a few open seats!! Called SWA once more and hopped back in line at the gate as hold time on the phone was 1-2 hours!! The 12:45 PM direct flight from DCA to HOU still had 10 seats available at 7:21 PM. On the phone for 45 minutes, but the gate agent managed to get two seats on the flight. Thank you. Finally boarded at 9:09 PM....DCA to HOUston!!! Our luggage went to St. Louis initially, but we were able to pick it up the next day in Houston. Yay for luggage trackers and AirTags. Thank you for the patience that the SWA gate agents showed during the chaos and the off duty pilot who volunteered to fly the delayed flight back to HOUston. (P.S. This story is for you, Joy B., and thanks for dinner.)

Luna ready to fly her first from east to west.

Flew with my baby girl Luna for the first time. This was also my first time flying after nasty car accident left me claustrophobic. I would give 10 if could. Flew non stop both ways out West and back. San Diego airport clean and wonderful. Flew in and out BWI. Flying with a dog and first time in many years think has been 18 years since last time flying. Sad to see SW old seating policy leave. Part what made them stand out was the lack of seat assignment. On the way out they asked me if needed assistance with wheelchair. I declined but wasn't long before regretting that choice. Paid the fee to board early which if had taken the assistance that would not be necessary. Flight was easy and staff wonderful. The stewards were kind and considerate that I was flying with a dog. Few times she had her sticking out they asked me to keep her in bag entire flight. She slept the largest part of flight. I didn't give her any medicine either. On my return scored a flight home last minute half off. It was a night flight or red eye some would call it. Flight was leaving at 9 arriving home 5 am. Remember we have time difference. The plane was just about empty right along with airport. Easy through TSA even. This time was flying alone. Flight out my daughter flew with me but now I was alone. I got assistance and yes they used a wheelchair. I saw the looks because I can walk but I have anxiety plus travel with my girl gave me more anxiety. I also have long list medical issues that can't be seen. Heard people on plane talking about folks using the service while walking just fine. For people that may not understand just because they wheel you doesn't mean can't walk means need assistance. I was able board sooner to settle my dog done and put my things away. However the service was priceless at BWI. Good thing had the service no way that I would been able make that long LONG walk carrying a dog plus my things. Southwest Airlines was wonderful. They made everything go smoothly. Thought travel with my dog would be a big deal. It was not. They are one of better airlines imo. Everyone super friendly.

We visited family in Florida. I researched several airlines to compare prices. Southwest was reasonable and we could take two bags onto the plane. I checked a bag on my return flight. There isn't assigned seating. You can check into the flight 24 hours before the flight. Passengers board according to their check in number. For an additional $15 you can check in earlier. It wasn't necessary to pay for an early check in. We were in row 10 on the way to Florida and in row 13 returning home. If I were taller, it would be worth checking in early to get an exit seat. They have more leg room. We enjoyed watching movies using Southwest's WiFi. There was a hiccup with the return flight. The gate number changed from the time our boarding passes were printed. I am glad I was paying attention. We could have missed our flight. The Southwest app has useful information. I could track my bag and look up flight details.

I was dropped off since I needed to arrive before metro started. If you are dropped off, there isn't much walking to security. I flew with Frontier on the way to Vegas (via Colorado). I signed up for mileage points and was forced to download the app, just to check in. The app was informative. I just don't like having lots of apps on my phone. I had issues with checking in when I thought I needed a TSA pre check traveler number. I called Frontier to get help. I was advised to go to the airport early to get the number. All Frontier had to do was tell me TSA pre check was optional. I was stressed until a TSA agent called me. If you ever need tsa - text them at the number on the web site. If you call the tsa number, you are a hostage to a list of recordings that don't always give the choice you need to resolve your hurdle. If you are using Frontier's app to check in, just press "next" when prompted to provide your tsa precheck number (if you don't have one). The boarding passes were on my phone and I didn't have to be twitterpated anymore. The flight to Denver was awesome. The flight crew was friendly and helpful. When I asked someone if they could help lift my bag into the overhead bin, the employee helped me and also informed me that employees aren't really supposed to help anymore due to injuries from lifting heavy bags. I get it.

On my round-trip flight, my bags were approved at no cost on the way out, but I was suddenly charged on the return for the exact same bags. Completely inconsistent and unfair. I will not be flying Frontier again.

The flight attendants on the long flight from Chicago to San Diego were HORRIBLE. I had a problem with my in-seat TV screen. It did not work after takeoff. The male flight attendant was super distant with me, compared to his interactions with other customers, from the beginning. He would not make eye contact with me at all from the moment I boarded, and throughout the flight. While she was serving drinks, I asked the female flight attendant for help with my tv and she said that all that she could do was have the pilot reset it. We had a female pilot so I thought that this was cool. Also, on my flight to my destination on Jet Blue, they did a reset of the TVs shortly after we got into the air; so I was familiar with this method to resolve the issue. The reset did not happen. She never came back to my row (15). None of the flight attendants came back to assist with my tv on this 4.5 hour flight from Chicago to SD. The male flight attendant was serving coffee, halfway through the flight, and I asked him if he could get my tv fixed. He said that he would come back (he made it clear that he was too busy) to check it. He never came back. I spent the whole time in the air without in-flight entertainment, as United apparently does not have a mobile app for watching anything either. The male flight attendant was also rude in my interaction with him. He made me feel like an insignificant passenger. He gave the folks seated with me 2 snack servings and was super kind to them when he spoke. He gave me one snack serving, glared at me when he asked which snack I wanted, and then rudely threw it on my seat tray. I will not fly United again. Do Not Use Delta. Worst trip in 50 years of business travel. We are military. Received orders in…read moreMarch for travel to Korea in May. We have 2 cats. Coordinated with Delta for a direct flight in early March and got one, operated by Korean Air. Delta asked for certificates on the cats, size of carriers, and types of seats requested. We gave them the info and was told later that we could not do business class with cats - tried to pay for it out of pocket because I had both hips replaced in the past few months. Delta put us in economy - refused to let us in economy plus, premier and business - we offered to pay. So we bought a third seat to put the cats in. It was such a huge hassle dealing with Delta that we called back several times to insure our cats were on the flight. I have voice recordings of Delta clerks assuring us on each call the cats were checked in. 2 days before the flight we called Delta and it was OK, all recorded. We still worried and called Korean Air the day before. KAL said they cancelled the cats travel on 20 March. Delta provided KAL the wrong dimensions of our cat carriers. KAL refused to deal with us directly on the cats. We called Delta immediately. Delta denied they made a mistake. Once we presented the recording they admitted to the mistake. We took hours on the phone the night before to get the cats on a flight .. but a different flight now and NOT direct. Got up at 0230 and showed up at Dulles at 0400 for a 0608 flight and discovered the cats were not on the flight and Delta deleted the third seat we paid for. Spent 3 hours fixing another mess by Delta at the counter, finally getting on a flight at 1038. We did get to Korea but the cats were in their carriers for 20+ hours. Most flight service personnel and attendants were kind but a few made a federal case out of having the cats on our laps, in their carriers, to pet them. We will do everything to not use Delta again. Everyone was nice "trying" to fix the problem .. no one fixed the problems .. and we were extremely miserable. Don't use Delta.

However, when we asked the "Supervisor", Natalie at the YYZ airport what our options were, she instead proceeded to tell us, "You don't complain about the traffic when you go to New York, do you?" And continued to yell and raise her voice. It was horrible customer service, customers don't need supervisors or anyone for that matter to teach them a lesson, they only need an answer to the questions they ask, period. Do your job, that's it. But anyways, Air Canada must have been desperate for a supervisor because they chose a trashy, unprofessional one, with horrible mannerisms. Never again Air Canada!
