Goodbye old home. Hello new adventures!…read more Shout-out to Trosa Moving and Storage. https://trosamoving.com/residential/ We have moved quite a few times and these guys (all seven of them--plus a few extras they pulled in for the very swift and efficient unload) were exceptional: respectful, cheerful, working with hustle even in extreme heat. They were a coordinated team with a crew leader who was honest and quick to point out points of damage. (Thanks, Michael!) They moved our household contents as well as two home offices and a storage unit containing 50+ years of career detritus! Not only that, their estimate was the most realistic (not the lowest) we received (Thanks Barry!) All in all, we've moved 9 times and this was the biggest and the best move we've ever had!

Based on my experience, I would not recommend this location. Their approach to customer service and retention feels dismissive and unprofessional. Rates seem to increase arbitrarily, and there is no willingness to work with customers, even when the facility is not at full occupancy. It's frustrating to see a business risk losing a long‑term customer over a small amount, especially when maintaining relationships should be a priority. The staff has consistently come across as rude and unhelpful. While the building is climate‑controlled, it's far from high‑end. The carts are broken, the units are dark with no lighting, and overall, the facility lacks attention to customer experience. In short, the service and management have made this a disappointing place to store my belongings. After making a complaint to the district manager, it is evident that the rates are more important that customers and I will be removing my items asap. Seems like such a small thing to lose a customer over but in the end, it is all about perception and mine is that we are not valued.

I was promised a repair but the company has ignored my repeated emails and calls to get that arranged. To start off, one of the movers made inappropriate remarks to me, starting with "I broke up with my girlfriend yesterday" as he inquired as to my relationship status within TEN minutes (cannot make this stuff up). The driver then got their moving van STUCK in my driveway for more than 3 hours. They arranged a tow truck to free the van and they allowed my stuff to be towed to an unknown tow yard. Abdo was unable to get the truck that day, so my items say somewhere overnight in a tow yard. They promised me a refund of 200.00 for an inconvenience fee. Instead, they had the NERVE to charge an additional 459.00 for the day they unloaded. My favorite part: They attempted to charge my credit card more than 20 times for their additional charges! They kept trying different amounts to get every possible dime out of my account: 25.00, 50.00, 20.00, 100.00....they were successful at maxing out my card. If I could share a screenshot I would! Per the moving contract, they will erase the credit card info on file per request. So, of course, I did request that once I realized what they were doing. Lo and behold, they have still tried charging my card TODAY. I have now had to freeze the card and request a new one. Do NOT use this company. In the moving contract, they specifically state they can basically use your credit card anytime for fees they believe you might owe. They just sent me another invoice this morning.
