One excuse after another but was promised all 4 Rusty brake lines would be replaced for $700. The truck was supposedly repaired by my return trip on Friday the 12th. Well it wasn't. It cost almost $300 to Uber home to SC, 197 miles. I was again told the truck was ready at 5:50pm on Monday when it clearly says the shop closes at 6 pm. After swapping work days I was able to get a ride there Wednesday morning and was told only 2 of the 4 brake lines were replaced. dissatisfied and feeling majorly ripped off. If you don't live local, don't go here for repairs.

Only to have my car notify me that my oil needed to be changed just two weeks after. There's little to no paperwork given to me, so only the Lord knows what's been done to my car. That part, I'll take onus for. I should've asked. It's a friendly establishment, but jokes don't fix cars. I do not recommend this location.

I was then billed for 3k, which I felt was too much for the service I was requesting. So doing my own research I realized that they were at least charging 40% more the what the job should have been. Which is where Trinity Mobile Mechanics came in! Real life superheros. Setting up an appointment and getting a quote with them was super easy. The owner knew exactly what he was doing. After doing his own diagnostics, he had the integrity to call me and let me know what the real issue was and that I definitely didn't have to pay what the other shop was trying to get from me. All and all the job was done same day for a real reasonable price. I recommend Trinity any day of the week. And I will be taking my car here for now on. Real good businesses don't get enough credit. Guess what I did. I took my car back. I bought all of the necessary parts I needed for $170 off of Amazon, and now a mobile mechanic is gonna put in the parts for me for $450. So in total the job is really around $600 LMAO That's a $1300 discount. Do yourself a favor and do what I did. THEY ARE RIPPING IGNORANT & VULNERABLE PEOPLE OFF. The only thing they are good for is diagnosing the problem. They also held on to my receipt that had a warranty for a past fix they did and threw it in the trash.
