Most recently, I called about an issue with my AC not working, and they had me drop off my car for an evaluation. From the start, Kim at the front desk was incredibly kind and communicative, keeping me updated throughout the process. After diagnosing the issue, a technician from the service team gave me a call and thoroughly explained what was wrong. I really appreciated their honesty--they didn't try to oversell or make false promises, but they were confident in their assessment and solution. This level of transparency and expertise is exactly why I'll continue to trust Volmaz with all of my car's maintenance and repairs. Highly recommend!

The first call I made asking for Joe the gal answering the phone abruptly said Joe wasn't available and I had not been there in years!! What difference does that make! Left my contact information for Joe to call me! Never heard back! Called three days later and the gal said Joe wasn't available busy in the shop and he would return my call! Has been over two weeks now and no call from Joe! Do yourself a favor and avoid Volmaz for any auto repairs especially if you're trying to get in touch with anyone besides the rude gal answering the phone!!

9 out 10 people I know have had a terrible experience with this place. If you need you vehicle…read morefixed this is the last place you should go. Dropped brand new motor and then lied about it and said it came out of the crate that way. Crank pulley had damage clearly from same drop and rob claimed the motor came with the pulley and that he had pictures to prove it. When he didn't produce pictures like I asked I pointed out that the pulley is a special part that drives my booms hydraulic system (ie there is no way the pulley came with the new motor) and rob said "oh yeah my guys must have damaged it when pulling off the old motor" BS! Vehicle had pre existing issue with idle speed that shop was very aware of. Idle issues were still present upon pick up, ac pulley was damaged. Rob told me to put some miles on it for the idle to settle in and pulley noise was hydraulic pump and not his deal or doing. Engine was idling at 3000rpm by the time I arrived home. Found that the screw on throttle body that should not be adjusted had been grabbed with vice grips and turned to raise idle. Replaced throttle body myself which helped but still had the original idle issue. Reluctantly, at the urging of my one friend that likes this place I brought it back. I bought ball joints to install myself but I was told to bring it back on Friday so he could fix the idle issue. When dropping it off I told rob ball joints and shocks were new in boxes inside and to go ahead and put them on. THAT WAS 5 MONTHS AGO! Several ignored texts, friends telling him to fix my vehicle and a $500 tow bill due to needing new batteries and having a flat tire from sitting behind their shop so long I am getting my vehicle fixed elsewhere. If you're that 1 in 10 great, stick with them! If you're thinking about going here for the first time or going back after getting poor service, don't waste your time!

She even texted me to let me know it had been emailed so that I wouldn't overlook it. Customer service is top notch here.

And I found out the hard way…read more I have lived in Brookhaven/Chamblee for thirty years and throughout that time I always had my vehicles serviced by Shad and Melissa at J&L. Never a complaint, never questioned the pricing and the work was always done in a timely, professional manner. In December of 2022 I returned for a front end alignment and when dropping off the vehicle I asked where Shad was and was told he was out. Well he was indeed out. He had sold the business to a new crew and I should have figured that out when it took three weeks to get my car back. When I did get my car back, the leather wrapped steering wheel was filthy with grease as was the drivers seat and armrest. And they had managed to burn up three quarters of a tank of fuel leaving my fuel light on when I drove away. Insult to injury they had not even done the alignment. They also managed to not do several hundred more dollars of work that I was charged for. Forget all the positive reviews which are regarding the work done by the wonderful previous owners. This robbing crew needs to be avoided. I can't fathom how some people can be so dishonest.
