I told them at the service department that the bike would not shift gears going up, that the shifter only worked right when downshifting. Imagine my surprise when they text me less than three hours later saying my bike is ready. It seemed OK, they asked me to ride it in the parking lot. It was 5:50, and they closed in ten minutes. The bike shifted OK for a couple of cycles up and down. As much as I was happy to get the bicycle back the same day, I was not happy after riding it several time and from gears five thru eight still trouble upshifting. I truly wish they had kept the bike until Tuesday, maybe the bike would shift properly. I did not need to get my bicycle back fast as much as I needed to get my bicycle back FIXED.

Because of that, I brought the quad back within a few hours of purchase to have it looked at. The woman at the front desk was polite, professional, and helpful. She received the quad and explained that Oscar would review it when he returned the following week. When I later spoke with Oscar, he stated that he had ridden the quad and did not hear any unusual noise. I explained that the sound I experienced was intermittent and asked whether the transmission had been checked. During that conversation, the interaction became uncomfortable, and I was told that I was being difficult and that I could either pick up the quad as-is or receive a refund. I want to be clear that my intention was simply to have a newly purchased quad checked after noticing a potential issue. I remained respectful throughout the process. I was surprised by how the situation was handled, especially given my prior familiarity with Oscar. The experience felt unprofessional and left me disappointed. On a positive note, the front desk staff member was courteous and handled the intake process well. Additional note: If anyone purchases the 150cc quad with VIN L6JAGKLC9M1003698 and notices similar intermittent grinding-type noises, it may be worth having the vehicle inspected promptly for peace of mind. This review reflects my personal experience and observations.
