I have nothing to complain about. I got the catfish entree with two sides: Mac and yams and they were sooooo good. The cornbread was good as well and I'm not a big cornbread fan. I had the mango lemon drop to drink with Tito's, although the waiter said they're know for their casamigos lemon drops. They had a variety of flavors blueberry, mango, strawberry, etc. My sister bodied her plate so I'm assuming she enjoyed as well. She had the lobster tails with Mac and greens. read more

Southern Fire Kitchen - Catfish dinner with mac & cheese , yams and honey cornbread . Blue lemonade - Southern Near Me - Brookhaven, Georgia

The food was very salty, not flavorful. Ordered the baked turkey wing, which was delivered room temperature not hot or warm. The greens were served cold. The mac and cheese was served hot. Service was OK, but nowhere near high quality. Would pass on this establishment for future. I am sure there are much better options with better quality service and food for the price. read more

This is an amazing place from hello to goodbye! The level of service and food is outstanding!

The food is absolutely amazing. And the drinks... Woooowee I've never been disappointed when I eat here..

Excellent food. Honored reservation within 5 mins of reservation time. Service was timely and food delicious.

Food is outstanding. I've been coming here faithfully since. 2021 and I must say the food tastes better and better every time. On Sunday when I went I just got salmon bites okra and rice. Delicious. I usually get a whole meal like turkey chops or fried chicken are usually my go to. The sides are perfectly portioned. My favorite is macaroni cheese, collard greens, and okra. Oh, I almost forgot those candy yams 10/10 They honestly have the best soul food in Atlanta that I taste since I've been here. Every time friends and family coming to town, I always recommend Southern Fire. They've even extended it to make it bigger so the wait times are definitely not as long as they used to be for a table. The Service is usually great but I would say be prepared for NO nonsense at the door. They have security and their hostess does not play. They hold that door down. When it comes to the ambience the vibes are unmatched. Family -friendly,Great music read more

To the manager; I put a picture of the food i had , my boyfriend had the lobster pasta. One bottled water and a (2) sweet/lemonade mix You had a bouncer or officer at the door that night black guy with dreads . Maybe I might have gotten the server name wrong , but if you check your camera footage around 10/10:30-11pm I'm wearing a red shirt with a black skirt my boyfriend was wearing a black hat . You'll also see whatever the waitress name is . 03/29/25 is the date we purchased bill was $108 she did even let us keep the receipt. read more

Wow is what I will say!!! The food here leaves me dreaming about when I am in Atlanta and can come again and again!!!

A lot of restaurants in Atlanta close early during the week, but Southern Fire Kitchen was open late enough for me to enjoy dinner after work. The vibes are cool inside, and we were greeted warmly by friendly staff. Our waitress Robyn was so sweet! I ordered the watermelon margarita to drink which was very good and just the right amount of Tequila! For dinner I had the fried turkey chops, seasoned to perfection and NOT dry in the least. On the side I had collard greens, Mac and cheese, and yams. All the sides were so delicious, especially the Yams. I also ordered a side of the cornbread which was the perfect blend of buttery honey goodness. Arguably the best corn bread I've ever had. Will definitely return to this restaurant. Also, make sure if you order a drink off menu you ask about the liquor price FIRSt! Otherwise, you'll get the most expensive. That was a surprise. read more

I'd give this place an 8/10 overall. The music was blaring. I asked if it could be turned down a bit, but they said that the volume was set. Also, I'm a great tipper, I normally give 20% being that I've worked in the service industry. Gratuity is based on service, we never got refills. She wasn't terrible but for auto grat, the service needs to be improved. Now on to the real meat and potatoes, we ordered the honey garlic wing sand they did not disappoint. So much so that we got our wing entree sauced. The lobster bites were really good, just wished there were more for the price. :-( The Mac were good, the potatoes were nice and buttery. The yams, oh the YAMS!!! 10/10!! The collards were also tasty, I just wished they had a bit more meat in them. My picky eating 5 yo had the steak bites and she ATE!! My son had the burger and couldn't finish it. He also said it was really good. He gave it a 9/10. We also tried the blueberry lemonade with was really tasty and not super sweet, but it didn't give blueberry. It was really good though. I would recommend trying this place. read more

Returned again. I was stuck between going back for what I know I love, the catfish green beans and yams, or trying the Cajun lobster pasta. I chose to try something new and it was well worth it. The honey cornbread is always the best extra touch. read more

Ambiance is adorable! Didn't expect it to look like this from the outside. Clean, elegant, staff is friendly. Lee was our waitress she engaged in conversation with us and make us feel welcome and comfortable. Thank you girl, good luck with everything! Food was flavorful and they cleaned the tables as we finish which gave us space and kept the restaurant clean and organized. Good system read more

The Mac and cheese is the star here. It's yummy and flavorful. And seasoned. The yams are very sweet but they are good. The greens were also pretty good. fish was good but my preference is a little crispier. The music was a good mix and definitely sets the laid back vibe. They have some specialty cocktails but I ordered off menu. The pound cake was more cake than pound cake. If you know desserts, you know what I mean here. Get there early, within 20'minutes of them opening, they were completely full. Go check it out! read more

Everything was amazing the ambiance was great with good music and seating. Customer service was perfect from beginning to end. Very attentive and on point throughout the entire night with our party. Now for the best part the food! Everything we ordered was amazing! Lamp chops and braised spare ribs straight tenderism! Yummy yams were delectable along with the greens and string beans. Fried fish was crispy as well as the chicken and shrimp. The blueberry lemonade was the best lemonade we had as well! We will definitely be back read more

great restaurant food was great! nice portion! I feel it's way overpriced also it took way over twenty mins before our food came to table, we were there on 1/17/26 also you need to get there early to get in line before they open, or wait until much later like two hours or so, staff was very friendly, overall from a scale of 1-10 I'll give it a 7 read more

Even though the food is very tasty and the drinks were amazing, I had issues with the customer service. The prices on the menu do not match what is in their system. On my bill and my friend's bill, we were overcharged according to their menu. A table next to us was very upset because they were not informed of the $5 soft drinks with no refills. I would not come here to eat. I would do takeout and check the bill for correct pricing because the food is really amazing. I hate it for this place because it has potential to be a great restaurant. They need to update their system and/or menu for the correct pricing and take a look at their drink refill policy. These two things really killed the vibe of my experience with this restaurant. Once again, food is amazing but I would strongly suggest takeout only until they correct the issues I experienced. read more

The food was tasty however the wait time was was beyond disappointing. We arrived at 4:30 and the entire experience was 4 hours which is ridiculous. The server we had was not very attentive. We love to see the business thrive but they definitely need to work on time management read more

The first time I went it was good, this time was HORRIBLE. We were told the wait would be an hour, but we ended up waiting close to three. Not transparent and completely ruined the entire experience. Not worth the experience and certainly not worth the wait. read more

4.8/5 Service: Came on a Friday night around 9pm. Was seated a lil under 10 mins of arrival. Our server was really nice and patient when it came to ordering Food/Drink: Our waitress recommended the lemon drops, i like that they automatically come with Tequila. But they honestly are not that strong for the price. For food, I ordered the grilled shrimp (comes w. 8 pcs), Mac n cheese, and green beans. Everything was pretty good, but the green beans could use a lil more flavor. My cousin ordered the chicken wings w. Mac n cheese, and yams. He said the chicken was better seasoned than another frequented restaurant, so that's saying a lot! He enjoyed his sides as well and felt everything was full of flavor. Ambiance: It's very nice inside, with a fair amount of seating. Great for a small bday dinner, causal outing, or date night. Overall: I would definitely come here again. I appreciate that it's in a plaza with more than enough parking spots. Will def be back! read more

The food was delicious and I would give it a 5+ However, I would give the service and 3- as well as the ambience. The waiter never came back to refill our drinks. We had to wait almost 10 minutes to get her attention for the water refill. We spoke with a manager about a concern( nothing major), and she was not inviting at all. Inside the restaurant was hot! The air was barely blowing. While I would recommend the food, I would not recommend dinning in. Also, pay attention to your ticket, they do automatic gratuity no matter your party size but when you check out the handheld device ask do you want to leave a tip as if they have not added it. read more

This food was so good! They have somebody's grandma in the back making all the food. I had the turkey chops, seasoned to perfection. The Mac and greens with yams and corn bread everything was good. I also tried the starters 3 whole wing app lemon pepper it was good with a little sweetness to it. The ambience was nice and music playing. Delish! 10/10 read more

Wow. From the moment we were greeted outside by the staff for seating, to our wait staff, Robin, we had excellent, attentive, professional service. We each ordered the Frozen Margaritas, one peach and one watermelon -- excellent ! My husband ordered the four fried chicken wings, black-eyed peas, and collard greens; I ordered the grilled shrimp, collard greens, and fried okra; then we split the order of the honey cornbread. Every dish we had was outstandingly delicious and the portions were quite large. The chicken was piping-hot, crispy, juicy inside, and flavorful; the shrimp were large, succulent, and deliciously seasoned. The collard greens were the best I have had a restaurant; fried okra, also piping-hot, crispy, yet one can taste the vegetable inside. My husband said the black-eyed peas were excellent. The honey cornbread was top-notch, and very similar to my own version. Can't wait to return ! read more

THEY DO NOT HONOR RESERVATIONS! Made 7pm reservation for 4 for my nieces 11th birthday. Drove 1hr 45min from Phenix City, AL. Got here at 6:50pm. Watched hostess give our table away to people who had no reservation & was told itd be 1.5 hour wait. Fayetteville location. read more

Fried chicken 6 out of 10 Crispy but lacks flavor, without hot sauce there would be no enjoyment of this dish Macaroni 5 out of 10 Nothing special about the macaroni Collard greens 6 out of 10 Collard greens were okay but again lacked flavor Cornbread 1 out of 10 Tasted like absolutely nothing Service 2 out of 10 I'm assuming because gratuity is automatically added, the service is severely lacking here. read more

My friends and I were in town for a football game and were looking for a restaurant with soul food. This restaurant was popular on Tik Tok . We visited this establishment and the food and staff exceeded our expectations. From the hostess outside who was very accommodating and the security guard who held the door open and kept things in order. Our waitress Jessica R was so pleasant and friendly. I felt like she was my niece engaging with her aunts and recommending the best food selections. The food was absolutely great!!.. I would recommend this place over and over. When we go back to ATL for football game we definitely will visit again read more

The food was on point, no doubt about it. The fish didn't even need sauce for it to be tasty, all of the sides were very yummy. The ambiance was nice, only con of it was how hot it was inside but it was during a 90+ degree week in atlanta so that's hard to escape anywhere. The service was pretty good. Only gave 4 stars because I had a stomach ache after through the next day (no I did not finish all of the food pictured alone). read more
