We enjoyed making apple crisp in the first of a series of classes focused on the ABC's which included preparing and mixing ingredients, sampling different kinds of apples and charting individual taste preferences, using crayons to draw their favorite apple on a copy of the recipe to take home and finally story time with a book that tied into the theme while waiting for the apple crisp to bake. The children were all kindly asked to wash their hands prior to handling any ingredients and were kept incredibly safe with activities designed to keep them away from the oven and used kid friendly kitchen tools in preparation of ingredients. Then we made the salad with from scratch burrata cheese, marry me chicken and homemade fresh pasta. It was truly the best experience. The dessert was a layered red velvet cup with mascarpone cheese. It was heaven! The class was hands on and the staff were all so friendly. The space was clean and welcoming. Two bathrooms were inside the kitchen area. The menu can change per class so be sure to book what you like best. They offer a variety of classes and is not just for couples if you do the classic cooking class. Worth the price, hands down. So glad we came here and got to experience this. We will be back for sure!

Our class happened at the start of a snow storm so only about 14-16 out of 20 people came which helped create a more intimate setting.

Well, we not only had a great time learning a new cuisine, but we made some new friends in the process. The studio is in a private home, so the setting is very intimate and private. So, if you have never touched a cooking utensil before, you are definitely in good hands here. If you have, then this becomes an art in learning new and exciting foods and the history behind them. After the food is prepared, we all sit down to dine together and engage in conversation over the meal in which we all took part in preparing. Such fun! Be aware that the studio is BYOB, but the studio does provide wine glasses and soft drinks. We had such a great time that we are hoping to do this again soon. Helen takes time to ask everyone at the beginning what our questions are going into the class and what we hope to learn, and at the end of the class does a whole Q&A session. She prints of recipes, shopping guides, and includes links to her YouTube videos on the recipes, she even included a bonus recipe for us just because she thinks it's delicious. Helen is worth every penny, can't recommend her enough. It was a great date night!

Terrible company. They had canceled on me when I was in a foreign country at the last minute…read morebecause the chef was sick. I scheduled something with them in Boston and had an emergency and had to fly home early. I contacted them in advance and they would not refund or give a credit or anything. I guess it's OK for them to leave you stranded and cancel on you, but if you have an emergency, they don't care. They had plenty of notice and could have gotten someone to fill our places or offered a credit, but they chose to do nothing. Awful people. I also contacted the chef who wasn't very nice either. I kept getting reminders about the dinner after I canceled as well. I will never use cozy meal again after these two experiences. Save your money.
