    Want to try!
    Mary J.

Lovely service. The young lady at the register took so much time to answer all of my questions. Even gave me samples of the cookies (whoa! That white macadamia chunk is out of this world!!!). Ultimately I chose the pastrami Reuben. It was good but maybe too many things on the sandwich (my fault for ordering it all!) I want to go back! I'm including all of the sandwiches I'd like to try in the pics. Go! Try it! Everything looked so good. And on a very cold & very rainy day they were quite busy. Much success to our newest sandwich shop in town!

Happy to have another new restaurant in the area. I stopped by to grab dinner and ordered the 6 inch turkey and cheese sandwich. The sandwich was super tasty, they use a sauce that's pretty tasty. The food was fresh and everything tasted good. The prices are clearly higher because of the sourdough bread and better quality meats. You also get a pickle on the side as well. I would Come back and try other items. They close early around 630, sadly a lot of OC places close early so make sure to stop by during business hours.

    8-inch Italian sandwich

The sandwiches here are pretty good but the menu can get pretty pricey. Many things, like sandwich toppings, are an upcharge and are not really worth the money. A standard size sandwich here is only 4 inches long. Sandwiches start at $10. I decided to get the larger 8-inch sandwich for an additional $4, making it $14 for the base sandwich. I decided on the Italian sandwich. Some of the toppings like lettuce, tomato and onion are included. Additional sandwich toppings are $0.25 each or $0.50 if you want extra. I ordered pepperocinis ($0.25) and EXTRA olives ($0.50) because I like a lot of olives on an Italian sub. There were so few olives on my sandwich that I couldn't even taste them. One half of the sandwich had only a single olive. Definitely not worth the upcharge. I ordered my Italian sandwich "hot". I did not receive a hot sandwich, just a regular cold sub. You can add soup and a drink to your sandwich for $7.95 extra. The drinks are regular fountain drinks and the soup is about a 6 ounce portion. The soup by itself is $6.95 for the 6 ounce portion, so over a dollar an ounce. The bread is very good though if you like Sourdough. I'd like to return and try their salads and flatbreads.

Three items total! Delicious chowder soup and a fresh sourdough bread bowl. French dip and smoked brisket sandwich

This is a new business, offering delicious sandwiches, soups, and colorful salads! Their menu also includes flatbread and gluten-free wraps. My friend and I stopped in for lunch on a rainy day recently, we ordered two delicious sandwiches. Both 4 inch one smoked brisket, and one classic French dip. Apparently an absolute fan fave! Agreed! We ordered a bread bowl with classic clam chowder soup... that was so tasty. It reminded me of sitting on the pier in San Francisco. We ordered a side cup of the hot tomato soup, which was also delicious. And that day they were offering seasonal vegetable soup so they gave us a sample of that as well. Ambience is very clean and the staff was friendly. They greeted the long line kindly and thanked guests for their patience. It is a brand new restaurant after all. Clearly employees are still learning. I have a coportate event coming up and we are planning to order a tray of the gluten-free wraps and a mixed tray of smoked brisket sandwiches along with the # 5 turkey and salami sandwiches Yum!!!! Support local!

First time here! I came to do a taste test of sourdough bread, and it was fantastic and tasty. The sandwiches were very fresh, crispy, savory, flavorful, and delicious. Also, there is a good selection of crunchy chips and refreshing sodas. Good service, nice atmosphere with upbeat music, and I had an excellent experience today.

Barely enough chicken salad to cover the bread. Unacceptable.

I ordered the popcorn chicken, eggplant, pork ribs, and beef roll. All I have to say is wow, what a difference from when we were dining in. The portion sizes are pretty much cut in half. The popcorn chicken... wow I mean there were MAYBE 10-15 pieces max and I'm talking small pieces. It was a tiny lil appetizer. It was definitely not enough food for 4 people unfortunately. And the garlic pork ribs were literally all bone. So bottom line, don't order take out. Dine in is the way to go

Everything came out piping hot and fresh with good flavors. Perfect spice level, just enough to be noticeable but not overpowering. We had the chashu buns, which were fluffy, soft, sweet, and steamy, exactly what you want to finish off a meal. The Dan Dan noodles were solid but not the best I've had, I preferred the homemade noodles with peanut sauce which were scrumptious. Soft chewy noodles with a light peanut sauce and crunchy cucumbers. The xiao long bao had perfect thin dough with a good pork flavor inside, I was very impressed and felt they could handle their own alongside din tai fung. I've had bad luck at other dumpling places around OC with the spicy chili wontons, but these were aMAZing and a little addicting. Perfect bite size and spice. We polished our plates and felt far too full but it was worth it, I highly recommend!

My job is to help you avoid the tragic first‑date mistakes I've already made, like the overpriced spots, the bland dishes, the "why is this chair attacking my spine?" seating. I've wasted the time, energy and money on the other loser spots so you don't have to. But when I find a place that's clean, visually appealing, thoughtfully designed, and serving food that's actually seasoned, cooked well, and plated with pride? Oh, I'm shouting it from the rooftops. So let me put you on to my latest discovery: DIHO SIAM, right in the heart of Ladera Ranch. If you've followed me on Yelp for a while, you already know I'm a lifelong Thai‑food fanatic. I've been loyal to Thai cuisine longer than some people stay loyal in relationships. Since I wasn't trying to overeat, I ordered an appetizer, and let me tell you, this "appetizer" came out looking like a BIG FULL-GROWN lunch. I'm not a big white‑meat gal, so I asked if they had anything with dark meat. I ended up with chicken wings and drumsticks in a sweet‑and‑sour sauce. The moment I cut into that chicken? I ascended. The breading had that perfect balance...not too salty, not too bland...crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. I'm not saying I had a foodie‑induced spiritual experience, but if I did, nobody needed to know. One look at the rest of the menu and I knew I'd be back. Yes, I will absolutely make the 45‑minute drive to try their lunch dishes. It's worth it. And the prices? Shockingly reasonable considering the economy is basically held together with duct tape and vibes. Now, my one note for the owners: please, for the love of all things holy and iced... offer a dairy‑free Thai iced tea option. It was 94° today, and I was ready to down two giant glasses, but they only use half‑and‑half. This is California. We are oat‑milk, soy‑milk, almond‑milk, "I'm‑on‑Ozempic‑don't‑judge‑me" people. Give the people what they want. Add oat milk to the menu, put a cute little 4x5 flyer in a clear acrylic stand on each table announcing your new dairy‑free Thai iced tea, and watch customers flock to it. And just to close this out on a high note: I'm 100% coming back to Diho Siam. There are way too many dishes on that menu calling my name, and I fully intend to answer. Consider this my official teaser...I'll be updating my Yelp Elite Squad review after my next visit, and trust me, people wait for those updates like they wait for a second date after a great first one. I might even give you an extra star and make it a Five-Star review! Wink! wink! Stay tuned, because this place has officially earned a spot on my "must‑return" list. And don't forget to give me a thumbs up or a heart if you like my reviews and follow me!
