We got there in the earlier lunch hour so the restaurant was quiet but cute. We were both hungry so we ordered a rich and famous roll, a Philly roll, orange chicken, hot and sour soup. We were served cabbage complementary dish and it was good. Both of the rolls were good. The hot and sour soup was excellent. Orange chicken was tasty. All in all, we had a good experience and we will come back for other dishes.

Very great Chinese food! We had the hot and sour soup, orange chicken, pork fried rice, generals chicken, and mongolian beef. The prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get.

Tian Tian Eatery is an Asian restaurant that offers Chinese, Japanese, and Thai dishes. It's a casual place with about 10 tables. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They also offer lunch and dinner bento box specials. Rainbow roll ($15) - This was basically a California roll topped with salmon, tuna, and avocado. Unfortunately the quality of the fish was the type one finds at the grocery store. It wasn't very fesh. Red curry chicken ($15) - This had strong coconut flavors and was just ok taste wise. Nothing really stood out. Beef broccoli ($15) - The beef was tender, but it was just average taste wise. I've had better elsewhere. Cumin chicken ($15) - This stir fried chicken dish had onions, bell peppers, and great cumin flavoring. It was my favorite dish of the meal. Overall, I think the restaurant should stick to one type of Asian cuisine so they can make deliver better products. Service was on point, but I doubt I would visit again.

Someone recommended this place as a great Chinese lunch spot, so off I went to check it out! They're located in Ladera Ranch in a medium-sized shopping plaza, across from condos and Montessori. There's a decent amount of parking spaces, but I can see how it would get filled quickly during busy hours. It's a somewhat small restaurant with several chairs around a bar area, and several tables to sit and eat. I ordered my food online, and it was ready in less than 30 min. I was happy to see that they offer Lunch Bentos for $14.99. You can select 2 items from a list of 14 choices. It also comes with rice. I ordered the orange chicken and General Tso's chicken. Both items were very flavorful, however they tasted too much alike. Next time I won't order 2 chicken dishes at the same time. What I loved most about the Lunch Bentos is that you can order them gluten free for $2 extra, which is what I did. I couldn't tell that it was GF as it tasted just like the regular thing, but they probably swapped out the wheat flour in the batter for GF flour, and probably used GF soy sauce in the orange sauce. That's just my guess. I will definitely return to try other items! Very excited that there's a tasty Chinese eatery in the area.

This is a super nice couple that make some really nice Chinese/Japanese food. It can be a little hard to find, as it's blended in with a bunch of medical business. Their prices are very reasonable with many varieties to choose from. I recommend the tempura, orange chicken and the Mongolian beef. Very quiet here If you're in the area...go check them out!!

Clean friendly place. Small business, husband & wife run. Husband & I opted for dine in but is take out friendly too! Everything is so flavorful but the chili oil wontons have to be my favorite! Got the chili oil wontons, sweet & sour soup, vegetable lo mein, and of course orange chicken. Got 2 fried rolls, not my favorite personally but the owner did come up and ask if we were sureee if we wanted 2 fried ones. I'll definitely try a fresh one next time. SUPPORT LOCAL & COME TO TIAN TIAN!

This is the second time that we tried this place, the first one is during the soft opening it was bad but since it's their soft opening I gave it another try and wow it's still bad. The wait is always so long even for pick up order which I ordered AHEAD OF TIME, the taste for the price is just okay. Second time is enough, I wouldn't come back.

So, we initially went to Franco's to celebrate a great appraisal inspection but found it wasn't open for another hour. Remembered that this place, Tian Tian had great reviews so we opted to check this establishment out for late lunch. Easy to find, inside was clean, bright, and organized. Owner Teri, greeted us right away with a smile as we sat at a booth/table. We ordered boba drinks and appetizer (calamari). The drinks and appetizer was good. Our entrees were: Chicken Lo Mien, Combo Tian Tian Fried Rice, Miso Soup, Orange Chicken, and Beef Broccoli. All I all, very tasty, serving sizes was good for 4 people and had enough to have left overs to take home. Teri was so friendly and made small talk with us and made us feel welcomed. My only wish is if they could move closer to the main hub of the Mercantile East area on Antonio Pkwy and Crown Valley. This is truly a gem and hope more folks give them a chance and support their family-owned business. If you're craving Panda, stop and get your fix at Tian Tian. You won't be disappointed!

I tried this place after reading reviews on Yelp, and also liked the idea of an Asian fusion, but I thought it was just okay. I got the lunch bento box and the portions were small for the price. Seemed odd to me how it was plated too. The food also was okay. The Kung Pao chicken didn't have a lot of veggies which usually it does and the flavor was alright. The CA roll was okay as well. The cucumber salad, which was an appetizer was a good size portion compared to the bento box, which is interesting. The taste was good, more vinegar-based. All in all, as said, it was okay but the bento box was not worth the price for what you get.

Totally original Mango Tango and Crunchy 2 in 1 Rolls ~ DELICIOUS!!

THE MOST ORIGINAL, DELICIOUS AND AMAZING ASSORTMENT OF ASIAN THEMED DISHES THAT I HAVE EVER DISCOVERED!! Each of the items I tried were original and incredibly tasty creations that I've NEVER found ANYWHERE!!!! From the complimentary Cabbage Salad (think heat, vinegar and sesame) to the original Crunchy 2 in 1 Roll ~ to the phenomenal Mango Tango Roll ~ each was unlike anything I have ever found anywhere. Definitely a 12 on a Scale of 10. The outstanding service matched or exceeded the exceptional food in this brightly utilitarian establishment. I can't wait to explore the rest of their options - and look forward to the Peony Pad Thai, their riff on one of the most popular (Chinese version) dishes featured in their sister restaurant outside of Columbus Ohio. SO HAPPY I DISCOVERED Tian Tian!!

Hospitality is amazing!! The owners always greet you with a smile. They make you feel as if you are eating in their home. The food is cones to the table promptly and is always delicious. Cute inside to the restaurant with parking right out front. Can't say enough positive things about the establishment. You will love everything about it - my granddaughter is celiac, and they are always able to accommodate her dietary needs! Which is a big plus in our book!

    Complimentary cabbage salad

Good find in Ladera Ranch area. Needed to grab lunch for in between basketball games just up the street. We ordered the ZHa jiang, dan dan and a wonton soup. My son loved the flavor of the Zha jiang and my husband loved the dan dan, only complaint was the noodles did not seem authentic. The wonton soup was simple and filling would order again. They give you a complimentary cabbage salad that had such good flavor, I am still thinking about it and would go back just for that LOL. Service was stand out, the lady working was just so sweet and accomadating. There is a lot of seating inside and outside. The restaurant and restrooms were clean.

Thai Spicy Chicken was made with white meat, and despite that not being my favorite, it wasn't dry at all.
    Cuong N.

Tian Tian Eatery is a wonderful find. This husband and wife team from Hunan, China clearly puts heart and skill into their cooking. I stopped in for lunch and was genuinely impressed. The hot & sour soup was perfectly balanced, comforting, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The Thai spicy chicken had just the right amount of heat, great depth of flavor, and was cooked beautifully. Portions were satisfying, and the prices are very reasonable for the area. Service was pleasant and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. It was an easy, relaxed, great lunch, and I'll definitely be back. Now the only question is, what do I try next time? Maybe a Hunan classic like cumin beef, spicy beef and scallop, or one of their sushi dishes. Whatever it is, I'm confident it'll be delicious. Interior is modern and clean, the owners were constantly sweeping the floor and making sure everything was tidy. Highly recommend supporting this local spot!

Everything came out piping hot and fresh with good flavors. Perfect spice level, just enough to be noticeable but not overpowering. We had the chashu buns, which were fluffy, soft, sweet, and steamy, exactly what you want to finish off a meal. The Dan Dan noodles were solid but not the best I've had, I preferred the homemade noodles with peanut sauce which were scrumptious. Soft chewy noodles with a light peanut sauce and crunchy cucumbers. The xiao long bao had perfect thin dough with a good pork flavor inside, I was very impressed and felt they could handle their own alongside din tai fung. I've had bad luck at other dumpling places around OC with the spicy chili wontons, but these were aMAZing and a little addicting. Perfect bite size and spice. My job is to help you avoid the tragic first‑date mistakes I've already made, like the overpriced spots, the bland dishes, the "why is this chair attacking my spine?" seating. I've wasted the time, energy and money on the other loser spots so you don't have to. But when I find a place that's clean, visually appealing, thoughtfully designed, and serving food that's actually seasoned, cooked well, and plated with pride? Oh, I'm shouting it from the rooftops. So let me put you on to my latest discovery: DIHO SIAM, right in the heart of Ladera Ranch. If you've followed me on Yelp for a while, you already know I'm a lifelong Thai‑food fanatic. I've been loyal to Thai cuisine longer than some people stay loyal in relationships. Since I wasn't trying to overeat, I ordered an appetizer, and let me tell you, this "appetizer" came out looking like a BIG FULL-GROWN lunch. I'm not a big white‑meat gal, so I asked if they had anything with dark meat. I ended up with chicken wings and drumsticks in a sweet‑and‑sour sauce. The moment I cut into that chicken? I ascended. The breading had that perfect balance...not too salty, not too bland...crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. I'm not saying I had a foodie‑induced spiritual experience, but if I did, nobody needed to know. One look at the rest of the menu and I knew I'd be back. Yes, I will absolutely make the 45‑minute drive to try their lunch dishes. It's worth it. And the prices? Shockingly reasonable considering the economy is basically held together with duct tape and vibes. Now, my one note for the owners: please, for the love of all things holy and iced... offer a dairy‑free Thai iced tea option. It was 94° today, and I was ready to down two giant glasses, but they only use half‑and‑half. This is California. We are oat‑milk, soy‑milk, almond‑milk, "I'm‑on‑Ozempic‑don't‑judge‑me" people. Give the people what they want. Add oat milk to the menu, put a cute little 4x5 flyer in a clear acrylic stand on each table announcing your new dairy‑free Thai iced tea, and watch customers flock to it. And just to close this out on a high note: I'm 100% coming back to Diho Siam. There are way too many dishes on that menu calling my name, and I fully intend to answer. Consider this my official teaser...I'll be updating my Yelp Elite Squad review after my next visit, and trust me, people wait for those updates like they wait for a second date after a great first one. I might even give you an extra star and make it a Five-Star review! Wink! wink! Stay tuned, because this place has officially earned a spot on my "must‑return" list. And don't forget to give me a thumbs up or a heart if you like my reviews and follow me!

Shanghai style smoked fish ($16.5) - This fish isn't smoked, rather it's deep fried twice creating an extremely crispy exterior and is dipped in a sweet soy sauce. It's a unique tasting appetizer, perfect for sharing. Sauteed string beans with garlic ($13.5) - These beans had a slight crunch and are a great veggie option. Steamed fish and shrimp dumplings ($14.50 - 8 pieces) - This is a good option if one is looking to get their dumpling fix. Steamed veggie dumplings ($14.50 - 8 pieces) - This is another good dumpling option that tastes great. However the dumplings aren't that filling themselves. Braised beef shank noodle soup ($16.50) - Made with braised beef, pickles, cilantro, bok choy, green onions, noodles and a savory and spicy beef spot, this dish is perfect for a cold day. Crispy beef rolls ($15 - 6 pieces) - This consisted of tender beef, cucumbers, scallions, and a savory sauce all rolled in a crispy and flaky scallion pancake. It's one of my favorite items here. Kung pao chicken ($16) - This stir fried dish is prepared with tender chicken, peanuts, and spices and is my favorite dish here. Sweet and sour chicken ($16) - I was impressed with the quantity of chicken in this dish. It was perfectly prepared with a crispy batter and a tangy and sweet sauce that really hit the spot! Pineapple beef ($16) - This consisted of tender and thin pieces of beef stir fried with some pineapple and is another solid dish to get here. Chocolate mochi xiao long bao ($11 - 5 pieces) - These chewy dumplings had a wonderful chocolate filling. Rose flavored red bean buns ($14 for 3) - I felt these were pricey but they had a good amount of filling and the bao bun was soft and fluffy. Golden egg custard buns ($13.5 for 3) - These are similar to the red bean buns, except the inside has egg custard. I really wish they doubled or tripled the custard, because the amount they give is miniscule, and it's for that reason I would pass on these. Overall I'm impressed with many of the items here and the pricing is reasonable. Even though I've tried so many dishes here, I wish they had even more offerings that didn't have pork. I'll definitely be back.

They over steamed / cooked the shumai, XLB, and wonton so the dumpling skins were too soft, almost mushy. Maybe some people prefer this texture? Smashed cucumber has large portion, flavor is quite light compared to Din Tai Fung and Paradise Dynasty versions. The Kung Pao I've Been Searching For…read more New Mandarin Garden has an impressively clean, welcoming ambiance, but what really stood out was the service -- the owner was genuinely warm and attentive, which you don't see often anymore. As a former wok chef, I'm not easily impressed, but their food hit me right away. The Kung Pao chicken tasted exactly like the nostalgic flavor I grew up with -- it reminded me of my uncle's cooking. Perfect heat, proper wok aroma, balanced sauce... this is how Kung Pao is supposed to taste. I've been searching for this style for years. I'll absolutely be back. Places like this are rare.

We came here on a Tuesday for lunch. This restaurant is in a busy shopping center a little ways…read moredown from a Whole Foods. Parking can be difficult. Upon entry we were told to sit where we liked. Our server took our drink order. Our order was taken soon after. Our server was helpful but a bit abrupt. The restaurant was very clean. The dining area in the front was rather smallish. A fountain with an elephant figure on top was the focal point of the dining area. An odd display of hot mustards for sale greeted us as we came into the main dining area. There was more seating in the back but this was cluttered with paper goods and such. Our food came out relatively quick. We ordered two lunch specials. The first was house chow mein with rice, an egg roll and egg drop soup. The second was almond chicken with rice, an egg roll and egg drop soup. We were given complimentary crispy wontons with spicy mustard and sweet and sour sauces as appetizers. The chow mein was okay. Nothing special. The egg rolls were good. The egg drop soup was good. I am not a fan of this type of soup but it tasted as it should. The cashew chicken was good and had a generous amount of cashews. I am not sure what type of rice this was but I would have preferred the run of the mill white rice. When our check came, it was accompanied by two pre-packed fortune cookies in a repurposed wild planet tin. Music was playing a little loudly. It was kind of soul/jazz. It was pleasant but did not fit the atmosphere of the restaurant. This an okay restaurant but I would not go off the beaten track to eat here.
