An amazing experience! What a great omakase experience. The chef's were so nice and kept giving us extra of our favorite pieces, the A5 with uni was incredible, as well as the mackerel was definitely one of my favorite bites, cannot wait to come back again

Pretty affordable all you can eat and drink omakase -- I thought it was good but not amazing. There's a time limit as well, so by the end it felt like we got rushed out a bit. A few of the fish pieces felt slightly fishy to me, and were under salted/not enough flavor. I also wish the rice was warmer! Green tea tasted like water. I liked the eel, toro handroll, seared salmon, and wagyu pieces the best! The sushi chefs and servers were sweet.

This place feels very gimmicky. The quality was mediocre. You get 14 pieces omakase and then 3 rounds of unlimited all you can eat. The quality was also very inconsistent to the point I felt like I was just eating rice. The unlimited toro was paper thin and stringy on a glop of rice. They charge 10 dollar per piece penalty for anything not eaten so I forced it all down even though the quality was lacking. The alcoholic drinks are unlimited but for non drinker it is disappointing since the only non alcoholic option they have available is green tea.

We were in NYC for the weekend and were able to make a reservation for a Friday evening. We arrived a few minutes before the seating, checked in and waited outside until it was time. We reserved for seats at the bar, which I highly recommend as it allows you to interact with the sushi chefs and eat each piece as they make it! We loved all of the dishes of the omakase, especially the otoro. We ordered multiple pieces of the AYCE round at the end, saving our stomachs for the fatty tuna (toro) and Wagyu. The meal also comes with unlimited drinks so we got to try all 4 Japanese sakes and wines and my favorite was the plum wine, which was sweet tasting. Cost ended up being around $200-220 for 2 people (ballpark because I think my partner paid). Would definitely recommend for delicious fish and fun experience overall.

Absolutely worth the $$ -- fish quality is great, unlimited sake, AYCE for 3 rounds plus friendly service

My girlfriends first omakase and it was a success! We arrived 20 mins early for our reservation so we sat down at the bench by the window while the earlier time slot finished up. Once it was closer to our start time, the hostess brought us to our seats. Alcoholic drinks (beer and sake) were included in the price and can be continuously refilled. We really liked the plum sake, it was sweet as advertised. All the pieces that were selected today were delicious. Our favorite pieces were definitely the sea bass, salmon, shrimp, and eel. You can really taste how fresh it was! There were 12 sushi pieces, a miso soup, a mochi, and 3 AYCE rounds where you let the staff know how many of each piece you want. We opted for 4 lean tuna, 8 fatty tuna, and 8 wagyu sushis each and it was definitely enough for us to feel satisfied but not overstuffed to the point where we didnt enjoy the food. The fish wasnt too thin and the rice wasnt too large, it was still a good proportion. There were only two chefs and around 15-20 guests so we didnt get to converse with our chef but overall it was still a great experience. We spoke to our chef towards the end and he said his favorite pieces are the shrimp and scallop! The chef was really nice and gave my girlfriend an extra item with salmon and scallops (her favorite pieces) because of her birthday! Would definitely recommend this place as an entry to the omakase experience.

We were seated by the window instead of at the bar, so it felt like we didn't get the full experience. For the omakase sets before the AYCE rounds, we were given a plate with 5 pieces, then 4 pieces, then 3 pieces, for a total of 12 pieces. Then we have 3 rounds of AYCE. However, you're only able to state the amount that you want once for each round. The first round of AYCE was lean tuna, second round was fatty tuna and third round was Wagyu. You have to have a good idea of how many you want to eat (and can eat) before ordering each round because you don't have the option to add more later on. If you don't finish it, you are charged for each piece left. Overall, a pleasant experience, but I didn't enjoy the fact that you had to know exactly how many pieces you want for each round of ayce. I also did not realize that there are only 3 different options for the ayce rounds.

friend and i each ate ~30 pieces. souraji starts with an omakase and at the end gives you one chance to add on unlimited amounts of maguro, otoro, and wagyu. some nits here and there - rice texture, some fish pieces were direct from the fridge and too cold, but for the price (~$130 incl tip!!!!!!!) this is great. personally would skip the alcohol and just focus on the nigiri. chef allen was incredibly nice and did his best to make the nigiri extra forgiving during the ayce portion. would come back specifically for chef allen

We love this place! Our sushi chef was so nice and the quality was great. We left soo full! I particularly loved the Miso soup and the bottomless green tea was a great feature. It was nice being seated next to other parties as well.

wait staf super kind. at the end of the ayce even though we were out of rounds, the chef on the downlow let us have as many pieces as we wantsd haha. unlimited drinks kept the energy flowing. sushi quality is probably the best here out of all of the ayce omakases ive been to. would come back.

The toro and wagyu were outstanding--definitely the highlights of the meal. Drinks were also very good. Great experience overall. Chef David was super funny! highly recommend.

Love trying new omakase spots in the city. I had a couple recs to this one and was impressed! There's limited seating so making a reservation is probably a good idea. It starts with a 14 course typical omakase experience, but ends with three rounds of AYCE- lean tuna, toro tuna, and wagyu. For each round, you have to indicate how many pieces and you can't go back to a round. Loved all the pieces! Also, they have unlimited drinks options with 4 different types of sake. Had the plum wine and it was great! Overall, a wonderful experience and I will be returning.

As much quantity as you can fill in. The unlimited pieces after were definitely a bit thinner but still decent.

The atmosphere here was a bit more lively and crowded compared to the more relaxed vibe of the UWS spot. I enjoyed my meal even more this time around. I started with the beet salad, which was delicious and offered great value given the generous portion size. it featured sliced beets, arugula, goat cheese, and walnuts. I also had my eye on the hijiki soybean salad--which is a bit smaller and reportedly homemade--so I may try that next time, along with the warm mushroom salad which looked very tasty. The edamame was standard but served as a nice starter. For my main rolls, I chose the salmon avocado and the yellowtail scallion. Both were very fresh and definitely worth ordering again. The salmon avocado roll had a nice touch of sesame seeds on the rice, while the yellowtail scallion was prepared with the seaweed on the outside. My boyfriend's sushi entree looked excellent, so I am considering that or the sushi-sashimi combo for my next visit. The entrees provide a substantial amount of food, and I especially appreciate that they allow you to choose which roll comes with your meal.

They share a takeout menu and it's super easy to order--text what you want to the phone number on the website and pickup in ~20 minutes :). You pay on a handheld and they don't ask for tip for takeout. I love this process and truly wish more sushi restaurants in LA adopt the takeout box. The only one I know of is hefty but also $200 each lol, making Sanyuu's $69 omakase and $78 Everything don, not to mention the $30 giant salmon nigiri set, A STEAL! I enjoyed most of the pieces but I will say I don't like their amaebi or uni at all. I'm not sure what kind of uni is used here but it's the type with a very strong mineral flavor & aftertaste that I don't find enjoyable. We're spoiled by easy access to live spot prawns everywhere and fresh SB uni. Despite this, I wouldn't hesitate to come back if I lived in the city.

The slices aren't thin, delicate, and melt-in-your-mouth as one usually gets in a sit down; they are extra thick, and I had to really bite down on some of the pieces. The rice was nicely seasoned and was cooked well + portions are also big to match those thiccccc salmon slices. To be honest, I was getting a little nauseated after 5 pieces, haha~ They were definitely delicious but I'd probably just eat 3 or 4 pieces and share with a friend! It was easy to text the number on the website and coordinate a pickup time, and the staff was friendly when I arrived. The restaurant is a little hard to find as the windows are blinded and the sign is a piece of paper on the door.

The creamy kimchi udon was ok. It didn't feel like one dish, but tasted good. The una don was great. Good sauce and blend of supporting veggies to enhance the taste. Service was super quick. Interior was cramped and loud. Really fitting as many tables as they can in the space. I saw others mentioning to make reservations. I went without one and got lucky. There was a table opening 30 minutes out. Would recommend having one, but you can definitely try walking in. First come first serve basis Overall, solid spot for great tasting food. Great for smaller parties of 2, but expect it to be tight with spacing
