First impression was Brenda and Gabe who were very courteous on the phone. They quoted and found time on their schedule to have the installers come out the next day to set a new tank. They came immediately while in the area to look at the work. As soon as the town gave permission, they came and finished the job within hours. Definitely recommend this family business for propane needs.

STAY AWAY FROM AMERIGAS! Amerigas is the WORST COMPANY I've…read moreEVER dealt with! I spent two years trying to get billing straight with them due to their errors. Getting a person that can make a decision is impossible. I got a new company to install a new take and take of our service. I called to advise them to come pick up their tank and they had the audacity to tell me that it would cost nearly $500 to pick up their tank! I went ballistic and consider that approach to business criminal. RUN FROM AMERIGAS!

When they arrived, the first thing that said was that I had to repaint the tank before they would fill it up. None of the other companies ever required this. I got the paint and painted it. Then they started the fill but stopped just enough to to avoid having to to pay the rebate($300). They told me that there was something wrong and couldn't finish the fill(thus cancelling the rebate) They left, drove though our garden, got stuck then finally got out but destroyed the lawn there. They never followed up and never sent the rebate. Without a doubt the company is crooked. I called Suburban and they came out and filled the tank and their price was good. I am still with Suburban and emphatically suggest that you stay away from Amerigas.

I left messages but no one returned my calls. Two weeks ago I got a call and a email invoice asking me to pay for my tank and service for the next year. I told her about what had happened a few months ago and how I haven't been receiving their services. No real sympathy, just continued to ask for money telling me it was my annual service charge not a filling fee. I asked her to cancel my account and send someone out to get the tank. I followed this phone call up with an email. 2 weeks later the tank is still at my house, I have called numerous times and spoke to no one. I have left messages and no one calls back. And I have received no confirmation email that my account has been closed.
