We are repeat customers of Andersons and have joked that they must make employees take a personality test upon hire because everyone at this company is absolutely delightful. Ben and Theresa are so on the ball and easy to schedule with every technician has gone above and beyond to make sure we know what's going on. Mike came out the same morning we called about a sewer issue. He was professional, responsive and kindly educated us through the whole process. He showed us the damage, communicated all the "who, what, where, why and thens" and graciously answered all of our questions. We really couldn't have asked for an easier or better experience. Our dogs liked him too which is always a good sign! We have used Andersons a couple times in the past and will continue to do so because the service is really unbeatable! Though this happened some time ago, I have finally gotten around to posting... It took them three times to seat a toilet in my home, finally the last person to come out did it successfully!, however on the first or second try , they broke the tile at the base of the toilet and they said they would not repair it as I did not discover it until sometime after as it is not my main bathroom. They also charged me twice , put in a new toilet when one was not needed, ( I was not home at the time of the first "repair") Do not recommend! read more

Beau came to our house and gave us an estimate for replacing the shower head changed the faucets to a single handle and put in a new plunger in the bathtub. I'm giving two stars because the gentleman that came out was very nice. We paid for $41.00 for a "service call" to receive an estimate of $900 to install a sink and garbage disposal. We had already purchased both the sink and the disposal. He told us it was possibly a two hour job and at most a four hour install. Beware, In my opinion, this place is a scam to collect service calls and "membership" fees. read more

We are members of Anderson Plumbing Services and have used them in the past so naturally when we purchased two new faucets for our master bathroom sinks, a new kitchen faucet, and a new showerhead attachment we called them. We had all the parts needed for the job we simply needed them installed. We were told it would take a couple of hours no big deal. Ben the dispatch is very nice and professional as always and he scheduled us for Friday in the morning. Before noon they called and said there was an emergency call and they would be out in the afternoon between 1 and 5. Obviously we understand because what we were having done was not an emergency so of course they should come first. In the afternoon Ben called us and said that the technicians wife was having an emergency needed to go to the hospital and asked if he could come first thing in the morning. Sure no problem emergencies happen and we are not unreasonable. We both had to work on Saturday but my husband went in a little later so they could come first thing in the morning. He waited and around 10am finally had to go in to work. At almost 11am (not exactly first thing in the morning) he called and said he would be there in 30 minutes. He arrived at our home but our teenage daughter was there and she knew exactly what needed to be done and he proceeded to give us an estimate for the work. The estimate he gave was absolutely outrageous. He quoted us $1100. ($1106.09) to be exact for the installation of these items. This is with the "member discount"! Are you kidding me?? Even if it took 3 hours (which it wouldn't have since it's a simple installation) that is $366 an hour! When he gave my husband the quote over the phone he told him to get out of our house and that $1100 is highway robbery. The plumber at our house was very nice and stated that he doesn't set the prices, which we understand, but no way will we ever be using them again! We are cancelling our membership immediately and to give us that quote was a slap in the face. We had someone else come and do the job the same day for $350. If you have the money to pay 4x what it should cost for a service then use them. But as repeat customers we never will again. Way overpriced! read more

We recently used APS for a significant leak in a bathroom ceiling in our house in Atlantic Beach that required us to emergently shut off the water main. We have been fortunate to have not needed a plumber for this house until now. We researched plumbing contractors online and APS consistently came up highly rated on all sites. Ben answered the phone and was friendly and professional and got us set up with an appt ASAP. Austin came out and was personable and professional and knowledgeable. I wanted to take a moment to sing the praises of Anderson Plumbing and their fine employees. I own a second home in Beaufort, NC and needed to get a hot water heater replaced during a 2 week timeframe when I was in town. I called the folks at Anderson, explained the situation, and they were very prompt and responsive. Wayne Kittrell came out and surveyed the job, made a few calls and had an estimate for me within minutes. He ordered the water heater and scheduled a date/time to install it. He was here as promised - on time and was very efficient in his work. As it often does, an unexpected "issue" presented itself. The previous cut-off valve is leaking, and they were not able to stop the leak today because that would mean putting numerous other homeowners out of water unexpectedly. Knowing our time frame and situation, they made arrangements to return later this week to replace the leaking valve. They have gone above and beyond and given stellar customer service. It's worth noting that I had called another company first. Had someone come out, survey the job and say they'd get me a price. After numerous calls to them and never receiving a return call, I called Anderson. Wish I had called them first - but I know who will be in my speed dial from now on. Cheapest isn't always the best. You get what you pay for.....and I have no problem paying for exceptional customer service, a quality product and the convenience of having it done while I was in town. Well done guys! The guy was very nice and they are extremely professional but I payed the $41 service call fee and got a quote of $755 to rearrange some plumbing and attached the garbage disposal. We had all the parts already. I got the exact job done by another company in an hour for a quarter of that price. If you can pay it I'm sure they are great but way overpriced in my opinion. read more

When I called them for help with an outside leak, Ben Finger, Customer Service Dispatcher, promptly and politely set up an appt. within 2 days. Eric came out right on time and thoroughly investigated the problem, meanwhile, catching a very critical problem with my water heater extension tank I didn't know I had! Thank you, Eric, you saved me a major disaster! During the entire job process, Ben kept me routinely updated. Thank you, Ben! Eric's knowledge and experience was obvious as he clearly explained what needed to be done to fix the leak. When we called APS, they promptly answered our call and sent Austin to help us. It was cold outside, but Austin took the time to investigate our problem and made sure to keep us informed of everything. He also answered all our questions. When he returned the next day to finish the job, again, he was extremely professional and took the time to keep me informed of what he was doing and made sure that we got the best bang for our buck.
