My wife and I really enjoyed our meal at Soulshine Pizza. She had a 2 topping pie and I had the spaghetti entree. Both were excellent. I don't typically care for pizza crust and just enjoy everything on top of the crust, but this pie had the most perfect crust I've ever had. I couldn't finish my spaghetti and took it home for later. The next day, even warmed up, it was outstanding. This is a great pizza restaurant. It's a bit hidden from the highway, but well worth finding. read more

Signed up for their rewards program and got a free cheese bread - it's basically just their pizza dough without Mariana on the dough but instead on the side; it's solid but not fluffy like you expect cheese bread to be, so likely won't repeat. I like a crust that's not baked until it's crispy, but I also don't like when the crust flops over, this was perfect!! I got half tomato basil and half carnivore. Everything! I just got back with a cauliflower pizza crust, spinach and basil. I explicitly told the waiter to put more spinach on the pizza. Well, I had (once again) that I only had 6 pieces of spinach and no basil. I also ordered bread pudding and got their awful brownies. Every time I go there something is incorrect. Their pizza has been consistently bad for the past couple of years and the staff hit and miss. The floors are concrete and the ceilings are open so if you're there on a night with "live music", don't attempt a conversation with anyone at your table. We have been regulars at Soulshine since Brother Sartin opened his first restaurant in a strip mall next to a Blockbuster. He knew his customers by name and worked tirelessly to put out an amazing product. Unfortunately when he left town the place fell on hard times and has finally spiraled to an establishment that looks and feels nothing like the place he loved. I'd say the lack of caring by the current staff is the final straw and we've most likely eaten at Soulshine for the last time. Over the years, they've had some great managers and waitstaff but the current crew doesn't seem to care and so tonight rather than stay to even place an order, we got up from the table, ordered to go from Lost Pizza down the street and ate at home. read more

This is a great place to get a good beer and good pizza. That have a decent selection of Mississippi craft beers and some decent pizza to go with it. The bbq nachos were good but it is a very small portion, and left me wanting more. The carnivore pizza had a good amount of toppings on it and had a great taste to it. We had decent sized table and the waiter and waitress we had were great. I will say this though be careful of the beer prices as some of the draft beer was $6 a glass. I must say it was good though. I recently witnessed management and the staff at this venue tolerate the most disrespectful behavior from a large party that consisted of Hartfield Academy students and their parents. The Hartfield group was seated in a room separate from the main dining area. Concurrent with the Hartfield group's attendance, a weekly trivia game was being held in the main dining area at the venue. The staff made the Hartfield party aware of the the trivia game beforehand. The attendance in the main dining area consisted of regular weekly trivia teams and other guests that were just enjoying a meal. Prior to the start of trivia, the Hartfield "awards ceremony" began and the shouting and literal SCREAMING of the students and parents began. The group was so inconsiderate and obnoxious that the staff felt the need to apologize to the other guests at the restaurant for the Hartfield group's behavior. The staff should not have had to apologize on behalf of the Hartfield group. The other guests were clearly annoyed with the behavior and asked if management could get involved by requesting the Hartfield group lower their volume. The manager politely asked the Hartfield group to lower their volume and in response, one or more of the parents were offended by the request and instead of acknowledging that they are not the only people in the world by complying with management and the other guest's request, the Hartfield group retaliated by becoming even more obnoxious and their volume increased to an intolerable level. The lack of courtesy and awareness of other people from the Hartfield group was appalling and completely classless. The unbelievable rudeness towards the staff and other guests is unacceptable. I became aware that this is not the first time a large group of Hartfield students and parents have attended this particular venue and the pattern of rude behavior and unjustifiable entitlement is consistent during each visit. I cannot group an entire school of students and parents into this experience, but a school that accepts this kind of behavior and unjustified entitlement is trash. read more

Couldn't tell you about the food because management was so terrible. was told it would be a 10-15 minute wait for a table for 6. 50 minutes later we were told by the hostess it would probably be smart for us to leave, because their manager kept "mentioning" to them the kitchen is backed up. We were told by a kitchen worker, who was told by the manager, that we should wait about 20 minutes to order. After our server came out we were informed they were not taking anymore food orders. The staff was great. This was my first visit and unfortunately my last. The decor was nice. The food on the other hand was on another scale. Not a favorite for the price. Usually every time we place an order to pick up there are always things missing when we get home. I would suggest checking your bag before you leave and ask for extra cheese and sauce unless you like a dry pizza. read more
