Classes are taught to be simple enough for beginners to join but challenging enough for advanced athletes. As a result, every type of person walks through the doors here - age, gender, race, identity - and they're all welcomed in. It takes me 30 minutes one way to get here. On that drive, I think of how many studios I pass - many of which I've tried but none of which have stuck for me. I gladly do that drive up to 5 times a week because the community here is simply unmatched. Not only that, but I now have defined abs even when I'm bloated, post-vacay, haven't worked out in a week, etc. and that comes from the consistency, support and methodology that only Rhythm and Release has offered me in South Florida. This studio at Bikram Hot Yoga Miami is hugemongeous compared to others i've been to. The instructors are all very friendly and they all have their own way of conducting the class. Some just stand on the platform and go through the whole routine without ever moving. Others like to move around a bit and call you out by name to make sure you're challenging yourself and doing the pose correctly which is sometimes a bit emabrrassing if you're a regular...but like Nicol S. said there is a good mix of people from beginners to more advanced, really young to very mature, fit and a bit on the heavier side, etc.... I believe they do follow in their cliam that says that this yoga is for everyone! PLUS, they have a very cool special for First-Time locals: unlimited classes for $39!!!! which is outstanding considering this yoga practice is not cheap!!! It's very challenging, and feels like torture every time i do it, but it's so worth the health benefits and you feel so proud of yourself after completing 90 minutes of sweet, hot torture as I like to call it! Be prepared to sweat,,,I mean get drenched due to the heater blasting for 90 minutes straight!!! Love it!

Seriously?! While I do believe that there is a divine energy that all spiritual practices connect to, there is NO all encompassing magical ancient alignment between Vedic tradition and Mesoamerican timekeeping - WHAT THERE IS is modern Miami marketing that tosses two unrelated cultures into a blender, and slapping on a sparkly label, 'Galactic Signature.' If you're truly tapping into cosmic energy, a high-octane Power Vinyasa flow for the gym body ego is the last type you'd promote. This place is spiritual smoothie that manages to be culturally tone deaf to both India and the Maya simultaneously.....all while overcharging to pretend that doing extra Chaturangas because of a Blue Cosmic Hand is anything other than a workout with a heavy layer of appropriation. It must be nice to have leverage over communities that either cannot or typically do not speak for themselves. I'd LOVE to see you try this with different ethnicities and see if you'd get away with this chopping up. It seems the rock climbing and bungee jumping rattled your brains enough to think spitting out this new age b.s. was spiritual aligned and culturally respectful.

Who knew Morrissey + Beto would be such a perfect combo? We originally planned just to check out the space, but it turned out Beto himself was leading the Zumba session Saturday morning. Saturday morning became much more than just a workout. As one staff member put it, this was "more than the Beto experience" it was a Zumba Lift promo shoot, and the energy was unreal. There is space to store belongings on the side and back of the room. A smoothie bar for snacks and quick meals is also located on the first floor. All the equipment can be found on the second and third floors, all machines are new and in great condition. Fit Avenue is located on the last floor, this is a separate gym for heart rate - based HIIT workouts with treadmills, row machines and weights. They use heart monitors to track your progress. They offer a kidzone to take care of your children while you work out ($5 a day or $60 membership) and they also sell Zumba wear next to the front desk. I've been to several Zumba and strong nation classes and all instructors have been really good including Fit Avenue where it feels almost like personal training, coaches pay attention to form and explain monitor stats. Highly recommend trying this gym!

I've become the strongest and leanest that I've ever been with what feels like minimal effort. It's "hard" at first but after two classes it becomes very "easy" on the body and helps build your mental strength which dominoes into other areas of life. I love that each set is slow paced but the sets themselves move very fast, a great cadence for people who get bored easily. I've worked out with Sean Perry (the owner), Christopher Push, and Dorian Nicholson. Sean is very attentive and kind and is great for total body and abs. Christopher will absolutely push you to your limits in the best way, you will leave his workouts feeling accomplished and brand new. Dorian is great for beginners and very informative and energetic! I also love the price point for this location. It's about $100 a month for 5 classes, which I attended weekly. So far, the most affordable in the area. I'd walk or jog there to and from Brickell, which is about a 3 miles or so and would get my 10k steps in for the day via the travel. There is also free parking in the back if you decide to drive. I would definitely recommend this place because of the cool staff and the cool small businesses they support inside (seamoss, fresh juices, jewelry, art etc). Overall 10/10
