Then fitness friends of mine talked about "Secret Cycling", and the "conspiracy" came together! Since I'm trying to get in shape for a certain milestone birthday - and by virtue of my work schedule and enjoying for good food find it hard to stick to clean eating - I need a high intensity workout. Secret Cycling provides it! The studio is located in the upstairs office area of a warehouse / self storage place. Decorated with motivational phrases on the wall, industrial metal joist roof and a nightclub-quality sound system, I started to sweat within the first 10 minutes of my class. The soundtrack - heavy on 80's freestyle - gets me through a grueling hour of seat jumps, 4+ gears and long drives on their LeMond spinning cycles. I've gone with two different instructors, and in their own style, both are awesome. Christy gives the class a funky, Hialeah girl happy energy, even throwing out a couple of "Dalee" and mixing in Salsa and Latin Funk. Bob (Saturday mornings) is heavier on the motivational quotes and a Yoda-like wisdom to the class (though in proper English). Classes are $5 per individual class. Awesome because you have the option of paying only for the classes you take instead of those long gym contracts where you subsidize chain gyms. However, there's also the option of paying for the month. The only reason I'm knocking off half a star is because I wish they had some later (even 7pm) classes. Bob (the Lance Armstrong of Secret) has done a wonderful job with this place. I can almost guarantee you've never had a spinning class like this one! The bikes they use are Lemond Revmasters - my favorite! First timers: 1. Visit their website and reserve a bike. 2. When you walk in there will be a counter to your right with a binder. Look for the page with a list of names for the class you are taking. Once you find your name, grab the numbers hanging below the counter that corresponds with the one next to your name and go upstairs. 3. Pick a bike and hang your number on the front of your bike. (Look around if you don't know what I'm talking about) 4. Arrive early and let the Instructor know that it's your first time. That way you can get measured and know exactly how to adjust your bike. 3. Bring $4 for the class. That includes a towel that you will find on your bike when you arrive. 4. If you didn't bring water, there's a fridge downstairs packed with refreshments. 5. Prepare to sweat!

Ive been a member since about 2019, there have been increases in rates, but pricing is still moderate, if add the free parking it really is great value. The classes- consistently good! Energetic, profesional & engaging instructors. They all do a great job at keeping the classes fun with cool playlists. My fave classes are hot pilates, hot bootcamp, various yoga classes and cycling. I need the gym to be close to my house, have group classes, & I wanted a gym that offered yoga. Say fitness offered everything I was looking for so I decided to give them a try. I saw that you can pay by the class($10) so I just showed up for a bootcamp. The trainer, Jacie, was so warm and welcoming I instantly liked her & felt comfortable in the class. She definitely pushes you and her workouts are intense but you have a lot of fun too.

The lack of urgency to keep this facility clean and properly maintained is unacceptable. I've been coming to this YouFit for over five years. When I first joined, it was clean, well maintained, and always busy. Over the past year, the condition of this gym has declined dramatically. Honestly, it's no surprise the gym is nearly empty now compared to what it used to be. On every visit, you'll find overflowing trash cans, clogged toilets, paper towels all over the restroom floors, dirty mirrors, dusty workout areas, and a sauna that smells terrible. Many times there aren't even disinfecting wipes or paper towels available to clean equipment before using it. If the gym isn't being cleaned regularly, the least they could do is make sure members have the supplies to sanitize the equipment themselves. Even tho cleanliness is the bare minimum. This isn't an isolated incident, it's become the norm. I have attached photos because words don't fully capture how unacceptable these conditions have become. As a paying member, I shouldn't have to question whether the equipment and facilities are being properly cleaned. There are far better gyms in the area that actually prioritize cleanliness and member safety. Unfortunately, after five years, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

There quite a few cardio/treads, and weight machines. I am more into free weights and floor work. There is barely 40 sq ft allocated for this. There is a larger space adjacent thats roofed off for personal training only. There are lockers rooms with showers and sauna, pretty dingy. Post workout I checked out the smoothie bar and the worker does not speak a lick of english. Do better LA fitness.

Beware of the Kid's Klub. My 4 year old daughter came out like this after being dragged by the arm…read moreall over the floor by a kid 3x her size. I was not called or notified until I was told by her upon picking her up. She was in the corner crying & shaking without being separated or tended to & now has visible scarring. They have a separate room for the small children but do not keep them there, so your baby can be in the same room as a 12 year old with no cameras per the facility & one caretaker for up to 10 children. They are still investigating after me calling in since staff made no incident report about the event.

This class is for anyone, if your in shape or out of shape. Sheyla makes the class fun but at the same time always pushes you. The girls are all welcoming and you never feel uncomfortable. Her prices are very reasonable and I believe FIU students even get a discount. The girls that go range from high school to working professionals. It's a great way to get your cardio in. Even if you already go to the gym and have a routine. This is a great stress reliever and way to make cardio fun. She has morning and afternoon classes, making it easy to find a good time for you. Sheyla is also a great teacher. When I first started I didn't really know much and now I feel confident and like I know what I'm doing haha. Unfortunately, I'm moving so I won't be able to come anymore. But if you needed a push to try WKF, this is it! Try it out, the first class is free!! I'll miss all of you! Thank you for kicking my butt every day and making me laugh :)

I am in the best shape of my life because of Sheyla's amazing classes. She does not give up on you and makes you dig deeper. It's a small place but that's what I love about it, it's so great when instructors can take their time with you and correct your form. She also does personal training, I recommend WKF Fitness 100%! I guess the only way to describe it without going on and on is giving it 5 stars! It's a very fun group of women in the fitness classes, it's a great time honestly.:)
