I took my first SoulCycle class this morning with Paige (Throwback Thursday - 45 min), and it was the perfect way to kickstart my day before heading to work. From the moment I walked in, Paige greeted me with a warm smile, helped me adjust my bike, and gave me a quick rundown on how everything worked. She even gave me a shoutout at the start of class for being a first-timer, and the whole room cheered - instantly making me feel like part of the SoulCycle family. Throughout the ride, Paige's energy was contagious. She hyped up the whole class, kept us motivated and even shared pieces of her own journey in a way that felt raw and real. By the end of class, she had me blow out a candle to mark the completion of my first ride, and it felt really symbolic and meaningful! The throwback playlist? Absolute fire! And, the dim lighting set the perfect vibe. As a fitness instructor myself, I know how much community matters in these spaces and SoulCycle nailed it. Oh, and bonus points for having THE cleanest locker rooms I've seen in any fitness studios. 10/10 experience. Can't wait for my next ride!

Loved the vibe. Everyone is very friendly and they definitely make you feel special on your first class. The locker room and showers are very nice too.

This was the first SoulCycle location I've visited in Austin! I was on a trip back home to Texas for the long weekend and knew I had to check out the ATX location! The studio is like all others, clean, immaculate, and full of the friendliest employees. They even had chameleon cold brew on tap in the studio, a welcome sight for this hungover girl. I took my friend who was visiting with me and it was her first time. The staff did a great job of helping her get signed in and set up on the bike. Our instructor was Jack Bauer, who was a great to have! His energy was incredible and I loved being right in front of him, taking it all in! His playlist was bomb, and I had a great workout and experience! I'm looking forward to making more trips back and experiencing the Domain location in Austin as well!

Austin just got its 2nd SoulCycle and this location is in the heart of downtown! They brought their A team from the Domain location so get ready to sweat. The new location is on the east side of the Frost Tower. There are 54 bikes (not including the instructors) and the staff is super friendly helping you get set up. The new facility is bright shiny new with their signature crisp white, splashes of yellow and bold inspiring statements throughout the facility. They sell lots of cool gear with some just for their location DATX (downtown Austin). Amenities include showers with sundries and programmable lockers. If you haven't been to SoulCycle before, they typically run a special of $20 for your first ride. It is pretty intense but you will feel amazing afterward and have fun along the way.

Great instructor, great studio! Upbeat! Locker area is small, so be prepared for a tight squeeze post-workout.

I'm from out of town. Which SoulCycle is this online? Is it the one labeled downtown? Thanks!

Yes it's in downtown south congress st

Does anyone know the best place for parking? The parking lot across the street is almost as much as the class!! Is there a better place to park?

You can park in the Frost Bank Tower! Validated (free) for 90 min!

I was there for a collab class with Social workout club. They had fun Valentine's Day decor in the space. They have a lot of space with the front check-in area with a good selection of their merchandise on display. Then there is an area with tables and chairs and a counter for sitting and relaxing before class and then a locker room area with benches where you can store your items during the class. The studio was clean and had bikes in good working condition. I was assigned a bike and the staff made sure that I knew how to adjust the bike and clip in before class. The instructor Dom Hernandez was very energetic and lead an effective and fun cycle workout. He was very encouraging and positive with a lot of motivational encouragement. The cycle class was 45-minute rhythmic ride that incorporates the entire body. The class had great music and consisted of coordinated movements on the bike such as tapbacks, push ups, crunches, intervals and an arm workout with weights. I got a great workout and had endorphins afterwords.

It was a 12 or 12:30 class, so it was packed with people on their lunch hour. It seemed like everyone knew each others' names, so I did feel a little on the outside, but once the class started all I thought about was the workout. The music was pumping, the energy was high, and the vibes were there! My second class was an 8:30am ride with Jabs, who was subbing for someone else. Jabs easily made fun conversation throughout the ride and also had great energy. They were really friendly, as well! Finally, my third ride was with JaCorey, who made us all forget that it was 8:30am. The ride passed by so quickly and I really enjoyed it! The space itself is well thought-out, with enough space between bikes but still creating a close community feel. I appreciate the lockers outside of the bike room, where everyone keeps their items so as not to bring them into the bike room. The people at the front desk are friendly and inviting, too. I look forward to my next ride!

This place is about 20 minutes from my house, but definitely worth the drive for the variety of instructors and classes. My first class was 'power and rhythm' + 'core'. Lasted 1 hour : 45 minutes of power cycling and 15 minutes of abs on a mat. The class was challenging without making me want to quite, and i hadn't been to a class in a few months. I did this one a few times and really loved it. I went to another class called 'sculpt' and didn't really know what's i was in for - showed up and realized it wasn't cycling at all but rather a quick weights and ab session. We grabbed a heavy set, light set of weights and a mat. It was pretty easy in itself but you can push yourself to the weights you choose - and the next day or so I had some weird muscles that felt sore and felt like it actually was quite good! 'Power' bloc class was also one i tried. This one was rough - hard hard hard but it's only 30 minutes!! I thought by minute 24 i was going to die, but felt absolutely wonderful walking out the door. The classes weren't exactly full and I can't believe more people haven't found this little spot. Once coronavirus quarantine is over this is definitely a place I'll come back to!! There's always a bike (without signing up in advance) and the check in is super easy. Also - its a plus it's pretty dang cute inside with great ceiling fans to keep you cool.

To have someone of this skill who is also very patient and who customizes his methodology to your goals and level is a great combination, whether you are a novice or a serious biker. The accuracy and thoroughness of the methodology paid off. Riding my bike was much more fun in two ways. With adjustments, and with coaching on technique, I was able to ride longer. My pains were just, well, gone. However, what surprised me was that I'd picked up another 10 to 20% more power and speed just by having the right fit and essentially 1 hour of focus on technique. I couldn't believe the difference.
