First time at TruFusion and it was a really nice visit. As a yoga teacher down the road at Black Swan, I was curious what to expect! This place has a very unique and beautiful brand, and I really appreciate that. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and cared for. The staff was super kind in giving me a tour and ensuring I had everything I needed! The facilities were very clean and the class itself was great. I got a good sweat on and was able to keep up despite being a first-timer. Kudos to a great teacher who set me up for success! Upon the class ending, I was once again greeted and asked how class was. I can see why this place has a good rating, and perhaps my experience was a one off. The facilities are beautiful and the instructors are very good. That said, a heads up for folks that this gym regularly has full classes, with a $20 cancellation fee within 4 hours before class begins. Maybe they tell new enrollees about this policy, but it wasn't explained to me. My son went into urgent care my first week of membership, and I was charged $20 for missing a class. Even if I had canceled on the app ahead of time, it wouldn't have been within the 4 hour cancellation window, and I would have had to ask for a refund in the gym. Apparently this policy is common for nice gyms, but it wasn't explained, nor handled compassionately when I called. This type of policy also makes getting into high demand classes as a full time working mom really difficult. For $160 a month... no thanks. read more

I've been coming to TruFusion for about three months now and I'm so happy I found this gym! I originally started going because they offered a Black Friday special ($99/month for unlimited classes for 3 months) and I have no intention of canceling or downgrading my membership even though I'm no longer at that rate. Classes: I'm a class girl through and through and this is the perfect environment. There's so much diversity in the class offering. I don't think I'll ever get bored. My favorites are the Soul Flow, Hot Barre, and Hot Pilates classes. Sometimes the classes are a bit full but they've got each room mapped out with slots/spaces for everyone which helps. Facilities: The gym and all facilities are always super clean. There's plenty of equipment (provided and available for rent). The bathrooms are spacious and have plenty of lockers/showers. Parking: It's in a shopping center so I've never had an issue finding parking but I have had to park further away during busier hours. read more

We were in Austin for a family visit, and we are members and have been going several times a week at TruFusion in Las Vegas, taking Tru Signature hot yoga classes, Vinyasa flow class, Hot Pilate and Tru Fit Flow classes. We decided to do a drop in class as we cannot go a week-10days without some exercising. The staff was super nice, the facility is beautiful, and the Tru Fit Flow class kicked out butt, Tennessee was great. The location is a bit hard to find, after driving around the parking lot, asides from that, we really enjoy it. One recommendation would be for the TruFusion locations (franchise or not) should connect to one another, for customer to drop it, show our credentials, and the membership profile can be pull up on the computer, without having to fill out paperwork, etc. which takes time. Love coming here. I primarily come for the hot yoga classes, which I really need to round out my own workout regimen that is focused on weight lifting and cardio. I've been to almost every instructor and generally they are all good. Some classes do go a bit too fast for Soul Flow for my liking. In that case I will go for a Yin Yoga when I need the deep stretches. Also random benefit for males - the mens bathroom is pristine, which is quite nice since it is the exact opposite at almost all gyms. I've been going to TruFusion since they opened. I love that the class range from very early morning until late evening, this is helpful for someone like me who works a full time in office job. There Is a huge variety of classes which is great for some change. The staff is friendly the bathrooms are clean and a few showers there as well if needed. I love the energy of the instructors, they usually have an event once a month and different challenges. I really like this gym. The instructors are amazing, positive, and able to accommodate all types of fitness learners. All the equipment is modern, and everything is clean. They offer hot boot camp, hot barre,, hot yoga, yoga to Michael Jackson songs, meditation, dance, boxing, spin, kettle bootie, and this fun class where you hang from the ceiling on bungee cords. I wish the rooms were a little bigger, more affordable, and had a sauna. It can be sort of icky to run up on sweaty person next to you or find your knee in their pool of sweat. Also you really need to commit to each class or there's a cancellation fee if you cancel within less than 24 hours. read more

My pet peeve is overcrowding in group classes - where you don't even have space to spread your arms without knocking your neighbor. With 48-55 as the standard class size, in a heated room, I haven't always felt I've had the opportunity to relax and move without high alertness of crashing into people. And of course, with such large class sizes, instructors can't move around to guide you either. Instructors are hit or miss - some are excellent like Anita, Nicole, Monica, Alex and Michelle. A few others simply go through the motions but without a care for outcomes. What I do love about this place is the variety of classes - besides barre and Pilates, you can try bootcamp, TRX, dance and eventually, relax with Yin and trigger point release. This place is amazing! I came here for my first spin class (which they give you your first class free if you're a Texas resident)! The hospitality from the front of the store to the class was next level. Every trainer I came into contact with was so kind and helpful. Erin was our spin instructor and she was amazing!! She helped my girlfriend and I set up our bikes, weights, and taught us the fundamentals of being successful in a spin class! We plan to upgrade to the awesome 30 for 30 deal. I'm a HUGE fan of TruFusion!! The facilities are clean and hip and updated. The staff and instructors are so nice, friendly, and welcoming. There are so many classes to choose from at really great times for those on a 9-5 work schedule. I'm not a fitness guru -- I like working out but need a little guidance and variety, hence why I came to TruFusion -- and I've been nothing but impressed. Some classes are more challenging than others, but I have never felt judged or ridiculed for my fitness level, ability to keep up, questions, or need to take breaks during exercises. The instructors are so accommodating and approachable, and I truly never feel anxious or self conscious going to a TruFusion class, even if it's a new fitness style for me! My favorite classes are the Hot Pilates Core Express, Hot Barre, TruFitFlow (discontinued, so sad!) and Body Rock which is my absolute favorite. Most of the classes are heated, outside of spin, which is what I prefer for a fitness class. It's definitely on the pricey side, but if you're willing to take a chance, you're getting top notch instructors in top notch facilities with a welcoming and fun environment and a variety of classes to choose from. read more

Was a member for 4 years, and at first I loved it! Great, fun classes, good instructors, a nice change of pace vs working out alone/confused. I had gotten laid off and needed a job over covid so I tried my hands at a role here. It completely turned me off to the place. Staff is underpaid severely (I can't say, but it's really sad), and local Austin influencers are the only clients they care about or discount. Once I realized how many people complained about charging policies, and other things behind the scenes (equipment, late fees, but mostly cancellation), I realized there was wool over my eyes. Yes, working there you got a free membership to save money, but you were unable to get into good classes. If they were full (most are), you had to wait and see if members no-showed. If there weren't any, you just had to leave or take a different, emptier class. I haven't been in months and now to cancel I have to pay a month's fee? I remember getting calls from furious people about how they "get" you, make it seem like the best deal ever, and how lucky you are, just to screw you over at the end once the honeymoon phase is over. Advice: Read the small print (they really get you after class and you're full of endorphins, that is on purpose btw), even though they make it nearly impossible to do so. read more

I'm a class girl... I don't know what to do with a workout unless someone is delegating it so a traditional gym is a waste on me. Thankfully, TruFusion is a mecca of fitness classes. You name it, they've got it. Ok, they may not have underwater bikes or a rock climbing wall, but without getting too niche, they've got it all. I have no trouble getting into a class and they are offered pretty much throughout the whole day/evening. All of them are heated except one yoga room/class, so you better be ready to sweat, sweat, sweat. The instructors are high energy and I love their music selections and choreography of the routines for each class. I am not a huge fan of the use of kettlebells in most of the classes because no one is going around the room to make sure you're using it right, but you can also just ditch it if you feel uncomfortable or use hand weights instead. My three favorite classes are: -45 minute barefoot bootcamp -Pilates -Hip Hop Soul Flow (booty shaking yoga!) The facilities are clean, there never seems to be too much of an overlap of people going/coming to cause congestion in the changing area, and the front staff is super welcoming. read more

The TruFusion experience starts when entering the facility. If you forgot to sign up for a class online, you will be greeted with a friendly staff to assist. Most of the time, even though I had already signed up online for a class, upon entering the facility, I am still greeted with a good morning or afternoon by someone at the front desk with a welcoming smile. The facilities and classes at TruFusion are fantastic - and that also applies to the instructors. I understand that Francesca Budesheim has a massive role in many of the excellences at TruFusion. Francesca has three roles at TruFusion: her official role is Director of Yoga and Fitness. Her two non-official roles are Wonder Woman and Pastor. Anyone who has attended Francesca's classes or has had several interactions with her is aware of her super physical abilities and charming personality. As for her pastor role, her Sunday Soulful classes are compared to how an individual feels during and after church. Francesca's Soulful Sunday classes are uplifting; you feel good mentally and physically afterward. Also, attending her Soulful Sunday yoga session requires making online reservations five days before. Also, Francesca is a great listener. I had an issue with another yogi and thought about how I would handle the problem. But, before acting on the issue, a thought surfaced: I should first talk to Francesca. The same day of the idea, shortly after, I conversed with Francesca about the problem. During the talk with her, she didn't point out to me there was a better way to handle the matter - she just listened! She was non-judgmental in body language and with her comments. She asked me a question that caused me to pause: "What will I gain with my planned approach? " At first, I was lost for words and then replied - nothing! So, I dropped my plans and forgot about it. In short, TruFusion is a place to visit for activities that provide the body and mind with good energy. In combination with great front desk staff, excellent instructors and classes, and a top-notch facility, it would be challenging not to enjoy a TruFusion membership. read more

When I joined this studio it was during the height of Covid, so I did not expect there to be a towel service. However, although we are still in Covid, we are more or less back to some sort of normalcy and I was a little dismayed when I inquired about a towel and was told that towels are not complimentary, but as a $2 rental! So, I have to deduct a star as we pay a pretty penny for this studio and I also belong to F45 which costs just as much and towels including cool eucalyptus towels post workout are complimentary. Those little treats mean the world to clients and make such a huge difference. When and if a towel service is offered, I will gladly update this review. read more

I was excited to try the class, but there is a strict 3 minute policy (not obviously stated). I ended up being 6 minutes past start time because there was a horrible wreck and Mopac was shut down. It took me 45 minutes to get there, almost ran out of gas trying to get there by 6:15. They wouldn't let me in, so I had to drive an hour back (traffic got worse). And then get charged for "canceling". So, in my opinion 3 minutes doesn't allow time for reasonable life and logistical hiccups. This review is for anyone slowly and carefully taking steps toward a normal-as-you-can "Covid-careful" life. I was a member for quite a while when, in the rapidly changing early days of the pandemic, the studio bravely made the right call to shut its doors. It paused all accounts, waited it out, strategized, and a few months ago started to slowly open back up. My goal was to always return after vax dose 2 so wasted no time when I received mine. I am 55 years old and have been ultra careful since day one of the pandemic so was curious and cautious as to what TruFusion would be like. I was relieved and impressed. They made a business investment and implemented a multitude of layers to increase everyone's safety and wearing masks/shields and temp checks are only part of it. State-of-the-art air filters that clean the air constantly are seemingly everywhere. Open Lockers are safely spaced. High traffic surfaces have had a covering applied that protects them from bacteria. All equipment and floors are sanitized after every class. I found this place because I was looking for some group classes that had more weight training and Kettlebooty caught my eye. I was hooked after the first class and even got my brother to join. You pay $30 for a month of unlimited classes. They have a wide variety of classes and something for everyone; whether it's boxing, TRX, spin, Pilates, barre, yoga, etc. Seriously, they have everything and the instructors are so kind and welcoming. You receive emails after class from the instructors congratulating you on making it through and thanking you for coming to their class. They nailed it on customer service! They're in a strip mall so tons of parking and they have cycling shoes, towels, and mats available to rent. There's also a smoothie bar and I recommend ordering a protein shake before class so it's ready once you're finished! The locker rooms are huge and they have showers, blow dryers, makeup remover wipes, etc. They have affordable class packages and reward you with free classes for bringing friends. In 2020 trufusion added a LOT of 7:00 pm and later time slots. Miss your pre work sweat? It's all good. I joined because trufusion is the only place in town you can take unlimited spin classes for a flat rate. But I've since become obsessed with the Pilates and yoga classes. More to say: Brand new beautiful facilities Easy parking Unlimited class membership available ($150 a month after Intro $30 month) Great locker rooms with 8 showers in the ladies. I have never waited more than 1 minute to jump in and that was rare. Shower products are included and are in unbranded containers. I asked staff what the products were and they didn't know. No big deal. I typically bring my own shampoo and conditioner because I love my products. Fully stocked with bathroom amenities- makeup wipes, tampons, deodorant, mouthwash, lotion, and 2 blow dryers. Lots of space to get ready. Everything is avail for rent. Yoga mats, boxing gloves, spin shoes, mat towels, and more. Most are a $3 rental. One thing that surprised me was the lack of towel service. If you leave your towel at home it's a $3 rental fee.
