Although movements are slow and controlled the switching of positions is FAST! This class is Lagree which is similar to Pilates however I found it more intense and gives you that "snatched" look. A lot of focus on core, lower abs and thighs! The studio is small and clean with a bathroom, storage cubes and water fountain. There's a parking garage in the back/attached to the building which is nice. Parking is free for 3 hours.

Each class is 45 minutes long and goes by quickly. Both classes had different instructors with different moves focused on concentrating your muscles and moving slowly. I was shaking the entire time. Oddly I wasn't really sore the next day. There are many class options available too, so if you miss one, odds are the next one starts in 15 minutes. Overall, with many locations, Pure Pilates is worth trying!

She was very interactive in the class and was constantly talking. Studio is clean and well maintained. The studios late policy is quite strict. If you are later than 3 minutes (on the dot) your class will be forfeited. If you cancel late, your class will be forfeited. They are quite open about this, so I recommend reading the rules/conditions so that there are no surprises.

I surprised myself at how natural I felt on the machine and my practice only continues to become more intense. Despite having already paid for a class, I was abruptly asked to leave. I was told I should seek a "Hispanic Pilates class" instead, implying I didn't belong there due to perceived race or ethnicity. This comment was not only unprofessional, but also deeply troubling. Regardless of anyone's cultural background, fitness spaces should be inclusive, welcoming, and respectful. It's especially disheartening that such outdated, discriminatory attitudes are still present today. What should have been a positive, health-centered experience quickly turned into one that left me questioning the values upheld by this establishment. I believe in treating others with dignity and fairness, and I hope this review encourages B Pilates to reflect on how they engage with and treat all clients--especially when it comes to cultural sensitivity and inclusivity.

I did manage to injure the muscles around my hip while on the reformer which lasted a few weeks. I didn't seek medical consult but imagine it was hyperextended. One observation is that there is frequent communication when this business is trying to sell classes via phone, email, text etc. However, there is zero communication when it comes to reminding customers of upcoming booked classes. I missed two 1:1 sessions (~$200). I wish there was a reminder system like ClassPass has, a less rigid cancelation policy, or at least a courtesy text with the same effort they make as when they're texting to sell.

Jenna was extremely friendly and a wonderful instructor. This was my second Pilates class, but my first at this location. She made me feel so at ease with her warm demeanor and her knowledge about the workouts. The studio itself is so clean and aesthetically pleasing with lots of light and windows in the studio. The music was at the right volume, not too loud not too soft. Parking was easy - they provide 90 min validation in the LAZ parking garage nearby. I look forward to coming back!

Peach House is a boutique Pilates studio that offers mat & reformer Pilates, plus additional services like cold plunge and sauna onsite! The not so good- memberships go up to $499 a month which is expensive! Upon arrival to the event I felt very unwelcome. I did however get to experience the sauna for about 15 minutes and enjoyed it! The sauna was overcrowded with people and no one was monitoring it. The event was not well planned out overall and promised "HalfDays swag" to RSVPs and didn't deliver. It would have been nice for someone to give an official tour of Peach House but there was a reformer class going on at the same time as the event which was super confusing.

The classroom was bright, clean, and lovely, with floor-to-ceiling windows looking out on a shady row of live oak trees. (The next best thing to practicing yoga in a tree house!) The vibe was relaxed and encouraging and the students were diverse in age and level of practice. The teacher (Gabriel) was one of the best I've encountered in Bikram--insightful, attentive, not dogmatic. I left feeling awesome and can't wait to go back! I am so happy to have found my new Bikram home in Austin.
