I have been training at Driven about 1.5 years. It is hands down the best workout regime I've ever…read moredone. I always participate in the group classes, which are offered many times a day throughout the week. There are usually 2 days a week of strength which entail weight lifting exercises. I've been exposed to a lot of new and different exercises, as well as lifting weights that I never thought I'd be able to lift. The other days of the week we do a lot of different exercises that are usually in a circuit. Sometimes there are relays or competing for your own personal best record. The workouts are tough and effective, but the best part of Driven is the team. Andy and co (Alex, Robert, Anthony) are all very knowledgeable and attentive. You can tell they really care about helping their clients get fit.

I began going to Driven Performance via ClassPass and loveee it. I always go to Alex's classes,…read moreshe's a boss b*tch in lulemon. I've only ever done the weight training classes, but here's what I dig: - Super personalized training. The afternoon class I go to is typically maybe 8 people and five or so trainers. - Circuit based with different stations, you'll definitely be pushed. It's a small space and your trainer will stick with you for the most part and keep track of your reps / increases. - Circuits change every week so it keeps things fresh! Especially recommend if you haven't done weights in a while or have never done them, will make you feel confident in the gym again + the trainers are all just really awesome.

Located in downtown, this studio offers three types of classes currently, Interval (consists of…read morerotating between treadmill, rower, and floor exercise with weights kind of like Barry's but with extra rotation of rowers), 3x3 (mat style HIIT class that rotates through three different exercises that focuses on body parts and mostly using weights), mat heated Pilates, and Hi Def (more heat and cardio compared to 3 by 3). As of last time I went they currently do NOT offer cycling any more (unsure if they will bring it back). The studio itself is gorgeous - glass windows everywhere overlooking downtown Austin. The interval class is a low lights kind of club vibe with music while the 3 x 3 classes are held in glass rooms so very light and airy. For the classes requiring mats they do provide mats and towels and the room has labeled numbers where to put your mat down but know that the spacing is very tight and in a full class you're on top of each other. I have found the instructors to be incredibly friendly and personable and even in a big class they do try to get your name if they can. My favorite so far is Al Cairns and Carla Jian as they focus on form but also go around and check on everyone. Parking wise they offer 90 minute validated parking at 400 San Jacinto Ave but the parking can get full so there is another lot $5 at Littlefield. I never had trouble getting parking for the morning and noon classes, but evening is definitely more difficult. Cost wise I take the classes through Classpass but the cost usually range from $25-35 a class based on package you get. There Black Friday sale is very good and can get it down to $20-$22 a class. Amenity wise they provide showers with nice shampoo/conditioner/body wash and Dyson hair dryers and towels!

Great studio with a wide variety of classes and formats. There truly is something for everyone here…read moreand I love that they adapt or show variations if you aren't able to do certain exercises. Staff is attentive and friendly, as well as the instructors! Highly recommend classes by Carla, Andrea, or Wes! Def will be back!

The red room is FIRE, the instructors keep things moving, and you rotate between treadmills and floor work with plenty of options to walk, jog, run, or modify. I took the Run + Lower Body class and loved it! The best part? It's go at your own pace, so nobody's screaming in your face or forcing you to sprint. The energy is motivating, the equipment is great, and there were plenty of people in serious shape to keep me inspired. The downtown location is super convenient, with multiple parking garages nearby and validated parking (HUGE perk!). Lockers, plenty of showers, Dyson hair tools, beauty products, a members' lounge, and the Barry's Fuel Bar for post-workout protein shakes? They've got all the elements. I also booked easily through ClassPass, which is a major win for someone who travels as much as I do. The handwritten welcome card with my name on it was such a nice touch! I do think cleanliness could've been a little better, and the service was friendly without being over-the-top, but the overall experience earned its five stars. Just wish the Fuel Bar was on ClassPass too! I'll absolutely be back for another sweaty session.

The workout is consistent with wherever you take Barry's classes. The facility though was nicer and…read morelarger than most Barry's studios that I have been to. I loved their lift studio, especially the upgraded benches. The upgraded benches were very novel to use and I liked how the top of it could be lifted vertically to mimic a wall for wall sits. Only constructive criticism would be that I wanted to buy a barrys Austin t-shirt but thought that $68 + tax for a plain cotton T-shirt is a bit steep price-wise.
