The owner's knowledge of Pilates is exceptional--she not only deeply understands the method but also communicates it in a way that's clear, motivating, and accessible. What sets her apart is the quality of her cues and how she adapts each class to offer varying levels of challenge. Jasmine clearly has a wonderful rapport of working with people of all ages, and her ability to connect with others, as well as her talent in explaining difficult concepts in a simple way, is truly superior. I've been going to Sharpbody for over a year and it's hands down my favorite pilates studio in Austin. I've tried a lot of studios, and they always seem to fall into one of two camps: too easy and rehab-oriented (traditional pilates), or neon-lit and trying too hard to be hardcore. Sharpbody nails the balance. They offer everything from "easier" classes to true strength training, all in a grounded and fun environment. I'm almost 2 years post-partum and I'm in some of the best shape of my life thanks to Sharpbody. This studio is AMAZING! Jasmine has been teaching for over 18 years and it is obvious. She is extremely knowledgeable and she will work with your body and within your parameters. Not only is Jasmine a wonderful instructor, but every single instructor is amazing at what they do. They are extremely knowledgeable and often an off-duty instructor will participate in each class to provide a good example of each exercise. Sharpbody Pilates has been the perfect place for me to get back into training and decompress from daily stress. Sharp Body Pilates is the BEST studio I've ever been to! I have been taking class for almost a year now and my body has never felt stronger or leaner. Jasmine is incredibly knowledgeable and developed her own method of pilates. My favorite classes are the more high intensity Sharpbody signature class and the jump board sculpt class.
