Let me start by saying I am not, nor have I ever been, a gym rat. I prefer reading to running, baking to barbells, you get the idea. But about a year ago I realized I needed to change things up and become more active. I didn't know proper form or how to not hurt myself, and I needed someone to tell me different exercises I could do without getting bored. I stumbled across an add for Blush and decided to give it a try. A year later, I am a full on Blushie addict. I love that it is an all female environment. I love the women I work out with-who push me, encourage me, laugh when I cope with a tough workout by using sarcasm, and show up with me. The trainers are wonderful and help work with me to meet my goals. When I became frustrated, they helped identify my challenges. I wish I could go no stars. This place will scam you. Do not sign up with them. They will lie to your face to get you to sign up then tell you all of these difference stipulations to cancel after they've already got you in contract. And even though I met all of their stipulations to cancel they still did not cancel my account. They had been charging me for months without me noticing, then I get a new credit card because I had fraud on mine and they stopped receiving their monies. They SENT MY ACCOUNT TO COLLECTIONS WITHOUT CONTACTING ME ONE SINGLE TIME. It is unprofessional and unethical. They NEVER ONCE called, emailed, or phoned me saying they couldn't receive payment even though I had requested a cancellation MONTHS AGO. read more

I had a year long contract here. Started in May 2022 when they opened. I was so excited to be a part of a community of supportive women. One pro is that they have heart rate monitors. It's really fun to keep a goal to stay in the blush zone. Makes it a game for yourself. They also have monthly weigh ins so you can keep track of your progress. They keep track of muscle, fat and weight. They also have childcare. This was a super awesome experience, as it is hard to find childcare places. The childcare takes place during certain class times. When I was there, they let us write our accomplishments on a white board which I thought was a super awesome and fun thing. A good way to keep us engaged. Unfortunately there were many cons with BLUSH. They decided to make up rules as they go... can't cancel class eight hours before it starts. Couldn't schedule class four hours before it starts. No one liked that so they changed it to two hours. Still an inconvenience for people who were tied into this contract. You have to wear a different pair of shoes getting to the gym than the ones you're going to work out in to "keep the gym clean". I've literally never heard of a gym that makes you do this. They should make it an employees duty to vacuum and clean the gym. During my year here, I didn't really get any results. With Beachbody, I lost 30 pounds in a month with one program. Something's not working out there and I'm not sure what it is. When I was there for around 6 months, the head trainer mocked me. I've been told this person doesn't work there anymore tho. She was telling me my feet and legs weren't right for a specific movement. I told her my feet were not naturally straight due to a car accident and she mocked me and did something with her feet and some rude face. Anyways, we figured it out but like... what?! Jessica is really amazing and a great trainer. She knows how to conversate and relate to people as well as motivating. She is super kind and I never got a rude, condescending tone from her. Same goes for Kori! I also received a "sorry we can't help you" attitude from the same person at the front desk that another review noted. Straight, bottom line, "that's the way it is". When I asked another person at the front desk a different time, they told me I can email corporate and they should be able to help me with my issue. I found out in January that I would be moving out of state to be closer to my sickly dad. I let them know as soon as I found out on January 11. I would be moving in march. They needed proof of permanent address which I didn't have bc I'd be moving in with my dad temporarily so they offered a 3 month account suspension. I accepted, and still needed a suspension after the three months were up. I found out I could send them my DL with new address on it to end my contract. When I did that, they told me I needed to put in a month notice so I still had to pay the following month of payments. I actually had given them a three months notice. I feel like this place really does try to get the money out of you. For the price I'd say it's not worth it. No results, rude people, inconveniences and lies were to be had with my experience, unfortunately. read more

I LOVE Blush! I use to absolutely hate working out and now I enjoy it. I've gained muscle mass, made friends, accomplished some health goals, and I have more confidence in myself. I'm not the kind of person who can commit to one gym/workout facility for too long, I get bored easily. I have ClassPass and saw this that was near me so I gave it a try. First of all the staff were super friendly, the place is all women which is amazing ( yes weird dudes at the gyms discourage me to go back). They have on site baby sitting for those who need it , HUGE plus. I don't have kids but I love the idea of moms being able to work out for 50 min while their child is there with them& they don't need to find a sitter for that 1 hr. I really like that they truly motivate you to push yourself during the workouts. What I love about it is that after my first session was done no one pushed me to purchase their membership. As a ClassPass member i have tried other places in Austin & almost all of them after the session have tried to sell me their membership. I'm sure their membership has perks that as a ClassPass Member I don't but honestly for me right now ClassPass works and I love going to this place. The coaches are great and workouts are amazing. The ladies who attend are so fun and amazing. Each day is different muscle group that they tackle & I now try to go 3 times a week. read more

I've been a member of blush for over a year and ever since the first day in that door, I've continued to come back since. The staff and the members are all so kind and encouraging. The pink weights and the fully stocked bathroom are a win! It's my happy place! Definitely recommend joining blush boot camp, one of the best decisions I ever made! read more

I joined this gym last summer, walked in did a free workout then went straight to the office and signed up for a year. This gym caters to women of all ages, sizes, and fitness levels. Best decision ever, there is a number of things to love about this gym, the women support each other, onsite free babysitting, great workout routines (changed daily) AMAZING TRAINERS who are knowledgeable, supportive and receptive to each individuals needs. Everything pink is a plus too. I just renewed my membership for another year. It's a great start for my day! I would highly recommend giving them a try. read more

If I could give zero stars for how this business is run, I definitely would. To start off, I signed up in September of 2021 before construction was even started. I signed an 18-month contract and started working out in 2022 when it finally opened and after I had my 2nd child. The coaches were great, and the workouts were good. There were no issues until 3 months into working out, I was presented a piece of paper saying they had a cancelation policy that I never signed. That policy stated that if you sign up for a class and cancel 8 his prior, they charge you $15. I said, well being that I have 2 kids under 2, if that was presented to me when I signed such a long contract, I would not have signed up or at least did a month to month contract. That being said, they charged me several times when I canceled 7 hours prior due to my kids being sick. Oh, and mind you, my baby got sick from their daycare where they let sick kids inb and had no max on the number of kids that were in there. They only had a max per family, so that could be 1 kid or 4. The babysitter changed constantly, and at times, the daycare was just pure choas and sick kids. It was not run well at all. I continued going because I liked the workouts, but 6 months in, I developed severe neck pain and migranes. I went to a doctor, got an MRI, and it showed I had degenerative disk disease, buldging cervial disks, arthritis to the point it was bone on bone. I told this to them, but they said I was in a contract to April 2024. I was like, what? I signed up in September 2022, and it's not my fault construction was delayed. They LITERALLY CHANGED THE DATE on my contract to reflect me starting in August of 2022. That is unethical, dishonest, and completely shady of them . So, in fearing they would jack up my credit fit THOUSANDS of dollars, I stayed and modified everything because of my neck. Finally, the migranes got worse, and my doctor said you can't do these types of workouts anymore as it will only make your neck worse over time. I brought them my doctor's note, paid them for the last month so that I could do the right thing, and give them a 30-day notice. For 10 days, they never returned my calls or emails, but instead, I got rude texts from Tara at the front desk. She specifically told me there was NO corporate number and no one I could talk to. I'm not sure how this chick has a job, by the way she talks to people. Anyway, she sent me a text( by the way, never identified who she was via text) and said that with exclamation points, my Dr's note was sent to corporate for review. I was like, you literally told me there was no one on corporate or someone for me to talk to! Cassie, the club manager who is probably 25 years old and NEVER responds to emails or phone calls, emails me and says it needs to be permanently disabled to get out of your contract. You owe us 70% of the remainder of your contract. So, 10 months. I was like, you have to be kidding me! You changed the date on my contact ( unethical) , put a policy in place and charged me when I never signed that when I joined ( dishonest) and now it's going against the contract that states you need a doctor's note or move more than 25 miles away and you can get out of your contract. This place is a scam and super shady. They lie. They don't direct you to someone in the corporate office than you can speak to, and they falsify documents. I would stay far away from this place. After having my 3rd child (at 41 years old) my body was out of shape, I felt weak and I was carrying more weight than I ever had. I saw an ad on Facebook for BLUSH Bootcamp and joined as soon as the doors opened in May 2022. Since then I have lost over 10% body fat and almost 40 pounds! I am not only physically stronger but mentally as well. I absolutely love the female only atmosphere of BLUSH. Everyone cheers each other on and truly want to see one another succeed. One issue that seems to frustrate people when reading other reviews is the 8 hour cancellation policy. I know for people who like to plan ahead this can seem like a deal breaker...except you can sign up for class all the way up to 1 hour before class starts! AND if you forget to sign up completely you can ask the front desk to sign you in. Problem solved! I would expect almost all businesses that rely on people showing up for their appointments to have a similar policy...some even have 24 hour cancellation policies!!! I also use the childcare for my almost 2 year old. She is safe and has a lot of fun with the other kids while I get a great workout in! THIS is one of the main reasons why I chose this gym (there aren't a lot of gyms that have childcare...AND this doesn't cost extra!!!!) Overall, I have found where I belong with BLUSH and I couldn't be happier! If you love encouragement, good music, great and knowledgeable coaches, a safe place for your kids while you workout, laughing and making friends then this is also the place for you! read more
